Caitlin Forbes, younger twin sister of Caroline Forbes. The lover not the fighter. The sweet yet deadly. The very innocent Forbes sister. The flower.
Erik Mikaelson, son of Esther and Stellan Fairchild. The fighter and lover, but more like a fighter. The not so subtle killer. The Protector.
In which, when Caitlin and Erik first meets, and decides on a date. Erik immediately claims their first meet as their first date.
Backstory:
Erik is like Klaus. Made from an affair with another man. Erik's biological father is Stellan Fairchild, a witch. Erik was not abused by Mikael as Mikael thought that Erik just looked more like his father who passed away. And believes that Erik is his.
When Erik was turned into a Vampire. He still had his witchy powers, but just got enhanced. Almost like a siphon level kind of magic.
Erik's favorite sibling is Kol, so Kol obviosuly doesn't die (though it won't show in the oneshot cuz this was planned for a different showing). Erik and all his siblings are in good terms. Erik is also chased down by Mikael like his other siblings. Since he and Klaus are in good terms, they do have compromises. Erik would go into towns or places and look for Katherine (doing what Klaus asked him to), while Klaus lets him free and not daggered. Though the dagger doesn't have much effect on him it still hurts to be stabbed by it. Basically, Erik is younger than Finn, Elijah and Klaus, but older than Kol, Rebekah and Henrik.
Erik was also not inlove or fooled by Katherine or the whole petrova line. In fact, he despised them.
Erik is well also a bit late when it comes to sayings of the generation or year they are in, depsite not being daggered. It's mainly because, while he looks for Katherine, he also continues to study. Like every century he studies different careers, so he's also pretty focus on that too, and is not caught up on the generation/year's words or sayings.
Caitlin is just like Caroline. The bubbly sweet girls. Though, the second they both turned into Vamps, it was a bit different. Caroline is Carolone. But Caitlin, the sweet vampire angel, became the sweet but dangerous when provoked vampie.
Caitlin, too is a bit naive and innocent when it comes to dating and stuff.
Caitlin's POV
"What's a pretty little Lady doing on the side of the road out alone?" A voice startles me, makeing me snap out of day dreaming of baking some cookies.
I turn to my right and see a stranger walking towards me. A tall, handsome stranger, coming out from his cool car. Ooo, a new folk.
I stammer a bit before composing myself, "Uh- I was playing fetch with my dog!" I don't have a dog. Ah- fudge cakes.
He raises an amused brow before looking around then stopping in front of me, "Right, and your dog is?"
"Fetching the stick I threw,"
"How far was it?"
"Really far."
He hums then looks around a bit before offering his hand to shake, "Erik. Erik Mikaelson."
I gladly shook his hand, "Caitlin Forbes. But everyone calls me Cait."
"Well Lin," My brows rose from the new nickname, he shrugs, "I like to be different than everyone else."
I giggle lightly at that and nodded for him to continue.
"What's your doggie's name?"
Ah- "Fudge." Damn it.
He chuckles at the name, "Fudge? Now that's different. What's their breed?"
Well I did have a dog who passed away 10 years ago. And it was a Pomeranian.
"Pomeranian. An all black puppy."
"Ah so self explained for the name then?"
Nope, it isn't.
"Well, I would love to see Fudge. Though, I have places to be." He checks his watch and shrugs one shoulder.
He begins to walk backwards, going back to his cool car, "Say, wanna grab lunch tomorrow at the Grill?"
I nodded my head dumbly, "Yeah- Sure!"
"I'm pretty sure that it's 'date' what people these days call it, But to me, this is the first date!"
I tilt my head a bit to the side in confusion, "Oh.. I thought we were just getting lunch?" Or is it really called a date nowdays? Like that immedaitely? And today was the first date?
He shrugs then winks at me before going inside his car, "Well it is what it is, Bring the infamous Fudge too, will ya?"
I blink in surprise. Ah I'm screwed. And nodded my head again. Stupid.
He starts his car, then the car starts to move on the road, then stops for a bit right beside me, "Fudge's a bit slow in getting the stick, huh?" Then drives away.
Ah- Fudge cakes.
A month later
I got Fudge.
From Erik.
Who found out about my little lie during the first date and got me 'Fudge'.
