Tw: It's not the date yet.
James:
After talking with Sirius a bit he rushed over to the dorm of the girls. Because He knew Sirius had a good style but for a date with Regulus he wanted these Master designers to help him.
He knocked and a few seconds later, Lily opened the door. "James? Come inside. Is everything alright?"
"More than alright! I am going on a date with Regulus!" James said the biggest smile possible on his face.
"Oh I have to go to Reggie you guys have fun!" Dorcas said before sprinting out of the room.
"James I am so proud of you!" Marlene and Mary said in usion.
"Yeah well I don't have anything to wear, so get your master minds to work!" James said sitting down next to Marlene on her bed.
The girls Looked at each other and without another word went running to their closets throwing way to much clothes at James.
Then Marlene took his hand and they went to go to the bathroom all the clothes following them.
"So Let's see take a look at all the pieces and then style them." Marlene said, already looking through the clothes.
She threw him an outfit and James immediately threw it on. They styled his hair and went out presenting Lily and Mary gave their opinions, that cycle continued over and over again with probably 1000 different outfits, untill they finally found the one.
They spent teg rest of the time painting his nails, and talking about ideas what to do and stuff like that.

Regulus:
He ran into his dorm room, that he shared with Barty and Evan, a big and bright smile on his face, and the blush still refusing to go away.
"Oh Merlin. Who did this to you?" Evan asked as he saw his friend.
"More likely, what did Potter do to turn you into, whatever the fuck that is." Barty corrected.
"James thinks I am beautiful and has a crush on me and we are going on a date tomorrow!" Regulus anwsered going over to his bed and throwing himself on to it.
"Wait slow down, you... he... WHAT?" Barty asked seemingly shocked by the sudden turns of events.
"Well I didn't see this coming..." Evan just said smiling.
Pandora who was sitting on the floor just said: "Oh I did see that coming. Just not so soon."
Regulus looked at her and asked: "What do you mean?" He was very smart but right now he was at a loss. Did Pandora really know about James' crush on him? AND SHE DIDN'T TELL HIM?!
"On the gossip night after James' date, he told us. But the Girls, aka, Mary came up with this crazy plan that James should just date and flirt around see if his feelings would go away or try to make you jealous. I tried telling them it was a stupid idea but no one would listen." Pandora explained, as if that wasn't a big ass betrale!
"Wait is that why McDonald and James had a one night stand after the party and why Evans flirted and kisses him?" Barty asked.
"Well Mary and James didn't actually sleep with each other they just talked, but over all yes that is the reason all of that happend." Pandora anwsered.
"So James didn't sleep with her?!" Barty asked.
"No, he didn't he told me that. When we just talked. That's old news barty, try to keep up!" Regulus anwsered rolling his eyes.
Barty just looked at him, but before he could say anything, Dorcas came crashing into the room. "Regulus I am so happy for you! A date with James fucking Potter! You did it!"
"How do you know that?" Evan asked.
"James just came into the dorm of the girls for outfit advice and told us what he needs it for." Dorcas explained.
And shit! Regulus hadn't thought about that at all! He didn't have anything for a date with James Potter! He needs to get to Sirius. They are about the same size. And he had 'cool' clothing! Without saying anything he sprung up, racing to the door.
"Regulus? Where are you going?" Barty asked.
"I don't have anything to wear!" Regulus just said before continuing his way.
He ran up to Sirius' dorm, yes he just ran through the whole school, and knocked. Before he could take a breath Sirius Opened the door.
"Reggie! Fancy seeing you here. Your lover boy isn't here right now." Sirius said looking at him.
"Good. I need your help with my outfit." Regulus just said entering the dorm. Remus and Peter were sitting in it too. But maybe that was better. Because they knew James. They could help too.
"Regulus you don't even know how long I have been waiting for you too ask for my help when it comes to fashion." Sirius said before running to his closet and throwing piles of clothing at Regulus. And Regulus couldn't help but wonder: How much clothes did this man own?
Then he shoved Regulus into the bathroom telling the others to wait outside so that they can rate it.
They tried on so, so many outfits. Untill finally everybody approved. As they just stood there, Sirius trying to convince him to get a tongue piercing, the door started to open.
"Regulus hide! He can't see the outfit!" Sirius said, so quiet it was almost a whisper. Regulus jumped up from Sirius' bed and crawled under the one opposite from the one he just sprung up from. That bed just so happen to be James'.
"Hey, guys." James' voice came through the room. Regulus couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. This was so close to what stuff was sometimes written in books and yet so different. First of all he would be under James' bed hiding from Sirius after they had just made out. Not under James' bed hiding from James after panicking what outfit to wear. Regulus could see James' legs hanging from his bed meaning he was on it now. Great.
"Prongs what do you think about tongue piercings?" Sirius asked. Fucking asshole. Regulus could kill him right now.
"Oh I love them. At the Silvester party when Reggie had the fake one it was so ho- that is your brother i am talking about... Sorry." James anwsered. Regulus could feel the heat rise into his cheeks. Maybe a tongue piercing wasn't such a bad idea after all.
"Prongs would you follow me outside real quick?" Remus asked. Live saver is all Regulus could think of.
"Ah sure." James just said, jumping from his bed. The two left the room and Regulus crawled out from under James' bed. "So what do you say? Tongue piercing, yes or no?" Sirius asked, grinning at him.
"Fine. But in summer vacation." Regulus said before grabbing his old clothes throwing them over and leaving. On his way back ,he luckily didn't see James' or Remus.
He went to sleep not knowing if he has ever been happier.
