TWILIGHT'S POV
The next morning I wake up and head to the kitchen, to my surprise, I see Y/N awake. She sat on the far edge of the couch, hugging a pillow close to her chest.
Something was off about her. She looked deep in thought. The same gloomy aura from yesterday surrounding her.
"Morning Y/N." I greet. Taking a seat next to her I frown. "What's wrong?"
She doesn't respond.
Placing a hand on her shoulder, I couldn't help but worry. She jumps in surprise and faces me.
"Huh? What? Sorry.. Did you say something?" She asks.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
She smiles weakly. "Nothing, I'm fine really.."
Before I could say anything, a knock on the door is heard. Just then, Anya rushes out of her room.
"THAT'S PROBABLY MR. DOGGY!" She smiles brightly.
Before I could get up from the couch, I see Blossom step into the living room. "I'll get it." She yawns.
"MR. DOGGY!" Anya laughs and runs towards the dog.
"Don't worry. He's clear. The search went smoothly." Agent Armin smiles, handing Blossom his leash.
"Thank you sir." She smiles and waves as Armin nods. He smiles and leaves.
"Welcome to our family Mr. Doggy!" Anya cheers.
"Have you thought of a good name for him?" I ask.
Anya turns to face me. "No not yet papa."
"Don't worry sweetheart I'm sure you'll think of something. Now hurry and get ready for school okay?" Blossom smiles as she heads to the kitchen.
Anya nods and runs to her room.
Walking towards the kitchen, I stand next to Blossom who's looking at Y/N's silent figure.
"What's wrong with Y/N?" She asks in a hushed voice.
"I don't know.." I whisper back.
"Well big brother since it is your day off, you and Y/N should do something fun!" Blossom cheers, her voice no longer quiet.
Of course to a spy that's obviously a code.
What Blossom was implying was that I have to find out what's wrong with Y/N. Because if I don't stabilize our relationship, Operation Strix will be in trouble.

Y/N'S POV
'I'm a failure as a mom..' I think to myself. 'A proper mother would never lose her child. A proper mother knows how to cook.'
Looking out of the window I felt even more depressed. I make breakfast without Alex supervising me, for the first time and I failed! Because of my terrible cooking skills Loid got sick!
At this point, Loid would be better off with someone else as his wife. However, at the same time I feel lucky to actually be with him. Even if it is just pretend...
I don't think I could ever gain the courage to tell him my true feelings for him..
Facing Loid, I see him smiling warmly at Alex.
He's so kindhearted, loyal, and responsible.
He should probably find someone who isn't as unorganized and unprepared as me..
Once again looking out of the window I sigh.
"Well big brother since it is your day off, you and Y/N should do something fun!" I hear Alex say.
Would he even want to be near a failure like me..? I'm pretty sure he's disappointed that I lost his daughter. To make matters worse, he's really good at hiding his disappointment..
I remained quiet during breakfast, my thoughts were really taking over me at this point.
"Mommy? What's wrong?" Anya asks.
"Oh nothing.. I just didn't get much sleep last night.." I smile.
It wasn't a complete lie..
"Honey grab your backpack, the bus will be here soon." Alex smiles softly and stands. "I'll drop Anya off at the bus stop. See you guys after work ok?"
Loid nods. "Text me if you need anything."
She smiles and hugs Loid. "Right back at you big brother!" Letting go of him she walks in my direction and hugs me. "Bye Y/N! If you need anything don't hesitate to ask me ok?"
"Thank you." I smile weakly.
Just then Anya leaves her room and says her goodbyes. "See you after school!"

ANYA'S POV
I couldn't help but feel guilty. Because I ran off from mommy to save papa, she's been beating herself up!
I wanted to cheer her up by telling her she's the best mommy in the whole wide world! Though it took everything in my power not to. If I did she might find out about my powers...
Auntie Alex and I sit at the bench waiting for the bus.
"Be a good girl at school ok?" She smiles.
"I promise!" I smile.
Even though she was putting a smile on her face, she was sad.
'Time goes by so fast.. I can't believe this is my last week with Twilight, Y/N and Anya. To make matters worse I still haven't told him..'
Just then, the bus began to approach us. I wonder what auntie has to tell papa..
"Bye sweetie! Have a good day at school!" She waves as the bus' doors open.
"Bye auntie! I love you!" I wave back.
Her eyes slightly water and she smiles. Getting on the bus, I take a seat in the very back and wave at her. I continue waving at her until she's out of sight.
Smiling I felt today was going to be a good day. I'm going to help papa and auntie on their mission for world peace!
Believe it or not, Mr. Doggy plays a huge part in this plan. I heard Second Son mention he has a dog. Once I tell him I have a dog too, he'll ask me to come to his house! Then papa will have the chance to meet Second Son's dad and world peace will be restored!
Getting off of the bus, I couldn't help but feel proud of myself. I'll try to get all of the Stella Stars I need if this doesn't work out. That day I saved that penguin, word somehow got out at school and I was given my first Stella Star! Though many rumors about how I got it spread. Ever since I punched Second Son on the first day of school, I haven't had much of a good reputation.
Then again no one knows why I punched him except for Becky and Second Son's friends because they were there. I mean if there were bullies making fun of your papa, wouldn't you defend him?
Entering the school building I see Becky walking in. "Good morning Anya!"
"Hi Becky!" I greet. "Guess what?"
"What's up?" She asks.
"Papa got me a doggy!" I smile.
"Really? That's so cool! Hey I know, maybe you should come over to my house sometime so our dogs can play!" Becky suggests.
MY PLAN WORKS! Now to try it on Second Son!
Standing up, I rush towards the door.
"Huh? Anya hey!" I hear Becky call.
Sorry Becky, I'm on a mission!
Stepping out of class, I spot Second Son with his friends. Walking in my direction.
"Careful Lord Damian! She might go all beast mode again!"
Second Son glances at me, the grip on his books tightening a bit. "What do you want..?"
Smiling proudly, I place my hands on my hips. "I got a dog."
"Ok..? I don't really see why I should care.."
My eyes widen and I fall on the floor. 'World peace is doomed...'
Sulking, I couldn't help but feel like an utter failure. How come it didn't work on Second Son?!
"Nice one Lord Damian! You showed her who's boss!" His other friend smiles.
"What..? I didn't mean to hurt her feelings.." He mutters quietly.
'I'm sorry papa... Auntie... I failed you guys-.'
"... So... What's his name..?"
Looking up, my eyes sparkle. Second Son looks away from me.
Standing up, I keep smiling until I remembered...
MR. DOGGY STILL DOESN'T HAVE A NAME!
"N-Name..?" I ask with a nervous laugh.
Second Son rolls his eyes. "What a waste of time..." He says before walking past me towards class.
'That didn't go to well..' Feeling defeated, I enter class again and sit next to Becky.

TWILIGHT'S POV
As Y/N and I cleaned the kitchen, she didn't utter a word.
'This is bad.. If I don't help Y/N, Operation Strix will fail.'
"Hey.. Uh.. I was wondering if you wanted to.. Go out for a walk around the mall..?"
'This should work. On my previous missions, I've noticed that the women I was with would get excited at the mention of going out shopping.'
"... Oh.. I don't know..." She shrugs. "Can the dog even stay home by himself?
My eyes widen. That's definitely not the reaction I was expecting..
I'm really worried about Y/N.. Sure Operation Strix is important, but I felt that Y/N's well being was....
More important....
Finishing up cleaning the kitchen, I face Y/N in utter seriousness.
"We need to talk.."
She turns to face me wide eyed. Seconds later, her eyes water and she faces the floor. "You're finally tired of me huh..?" She choked out.
"What?" I ask clearly puzzled.
"I'm so sorry I'm not the perfect mother Anya needs in her life.. I'm a failure.." Looking up at me, tears begin rolling down her face. "If I were a proper mother, I would have never lost Anya in the first place. If I weren't such a screw up, my cooking wouldn't have made you sick.."
I felt my heart break at such the way she stood in front of me right now. Because of my mission, Y/N has been doubting her skills..
"I'm so sorry Loid.. You deserve someone better than me.."
Smiling softly, I hug her close. "Someone better than you? I don't think such a person exists. I'm really glad to have you in my life. If you walk away from this family.. Then not only will Anya be broken.. I'll feel like a part of me is missing.. Our family's perfect the way it is. You are such an amazing mother for Anya. A proper mother would look even beneath rocks until she finds her child. As for your cooking, it's improved so much. No one is born knowing how to do stuff. We all have to learn how to do things." I reassure, stroking her hair.
"If I have to keep reminding you that you're the perfect mother for Anya and the perfect person for the Forger family, then you better believe I will. Because words can't express how grateful I am to have you here Y/N."
She looks up at me, tears still going down her face. "You really mean that..?"
"Every single word.." I smile.
"Can we stay like this a little longer?" She sniffs.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy having her close to me like this...
It felt...
Nice....
Warm....
Comforting...
Closing my eyes I decided to relax in the embrace. However, the feeling of my heart pounding against my chest made my eyes shoot wide open.
In a way this reminded me of how I felt when my mom would embrace me.
But this felt different.. It was a different kind of warmth..
