Two days passed after Khushi entry in MM. So far it was the best days spent contrary to past years. Elders waited in anticipation for their son-in-law entry but later they learned he won't be arriving due urgent work which needed his attention.
Early morning Sujata and Anupurma visited the temple not before allocating morning meal responsibility to younger clan. In the kitchen three daughter-in-laws were preparing the meal in total silence but we're caught with started question.
"Bhabi ,bade Papa love Khushi alot?"question Ragini
"Hmm"responded Pari
"Not only bade Papa,all the family members induding my mother-in-law whom until today I thought Sanskar was her favourite"added swara
"Even lakshji whom till now have never seen him serious, yesterday I was astonished"told a shivering Ragini remembering Laksh warning if anything happens to Khushi because of her.
"Your both right, her being the last child that to a girl born after many generations made them adore her. Adarshji told me her being born was a miracle, since Chachiji due to complication after Sanskar's birth the doctors have presumed minimal chances of her getting pregnant again.
If she was to get pregnant ,it will endanger her. But a year after Dadaji death Chachiji found out she was pregnant and that was the first time everyone smile after Dadaji death.
But remembering what the doctor said years back they feared of Chachiji life and convinced her to go for an abortion which she refused for she always wanted a sibling for Sanskar.
The family had to give in and Chachaji took her to hospital where they were told the pregnancy was danger for her and the baby might not even make it till the end advicing her to terminate it when it's still early.
Unfortunately Chachi refused and the doctor prescribe for her to be bed ridden until she put to bed which she was fine with. The family supported her and tend to her needs. Though they were going through the rough phase with Dadi's health which kept deteriorating, Maheswari business going bankrupt due to investors backing out and only having this mansion in possession for they lost everything in trying to save the business.
So Papaji and Chacha concentrated more on business and Sasuma took care of Chachi and Dadi while Adarshji took care of his younger siblings. Though on her 7 month Chachi got labour pain and she was rushed to hospital.
That day none was around apart from Sasuma and Chachi. The male were out of town since their was a project many Businesses were working on it induding Maheswari and that day it was being presented so they didn't want to disturb them.
With the help of the driver she was rushed to the hospital where she gave birth safely but to a premature baby who was presumed dead for she didn't give out any sound how much they tried. On learning this Chachaji was so heartbroken and even Sasuma wasn't able to console her.
She demanded to be given the baby who she held close crying her heart out where she ended losing consciousness. Nurse tried taking the baby's body from her when the baby astonish them when she cried rubbing herself on Chachi's chest.
On waking up and learning what transpired,Chachi refused to go home demanding to accompany the baby in weeks she'l stay in the incubator. By then Papaji and Chacha have arrived and were happy on learning the birth of their Lakhsmi and also they have secured the deal which was a starting point and it made them whom you see today.
A month later she was welcome in MM and that was the 1st day Dadiji walked on her own looking healthy. She was the one who welcomed them and the moment she held her ,she named her Khushi. Unfortunately 2 months later Dadi joined Dadiji ,even though they were broken but this time they had their Khushi who is Maheswari lucky charm. So I warn you all, if anyone is thinking of harming her, she should drop the idea"told Parineet
"Bhabi isn't Uttara a Maheswari ?but I also heard Papa and B. P have a sister"question a confused Swara
"She is their sister though daughter of Chachiji sister who died with her husband when Uttara was young. And Bua is their adopted sister ,younger to Papaji"Answered Pari
"But Bhabi what happened that made Khushi to be separated with her family"questioned Ragini while Pari looked at the two who stared at her
"It's due to Kavita and her family. Kavita's family became neighbors with them. While she was always close to Sanskar that wasn't the case with other siblings.
Infact is due to her the siblings bond severed. When infront of the brothers she was that innocent girl, behind them she mistreated Uttara and Khushi. They informed their brothers while the two believed them ,Sanskar didn't believe maybe because that was his 1st friend outside siblings cycle or due to Kavita's pretence
So Sanskar to avoid problem between his siblings and Kavita used to play separately with Kavita. While Sanskar expressed his liking towards Kavita, for her, she was their to destroy Maheswari under her father's order who wanting to revenge Papaji who won the years back project which made him bankrupt since he has used every of his invest with the belief of securing it.
His wife left him and their daughter immediately he went bankrupt and so were people taunting him. So he held Papaji responsible for his predicament. Khushi one day overheard the father and daughter talking of their progress against Mahswari
Though before she can run they caught her and kept her hostage till she run away. By then Khushi outfit full of blood was send to the family revealing of her death. During the years the family was scattered which began with Khushi's presumed death and here we are "she narrated
The two sisters remained silent trying to digest the new information they had just learned and what transpired the day she arrived after heading upstairs
FLASHBACK
Immediately she upstairs Sujata followed behind even after Uttara assured her the room was properly cleaned. The Gododia's bid there farewell and they were ascorted by their daughters
"Ladoo you must do everything to impress your in-laws especially your younger sister -in-law whom I think has a upper hand in the family. Don't raise your voice at her even when she scolds you especially with the way we behaved earlier"advised Parvati to Ragini while Swara though hurt stood silent
" Yes ladoo your Dadi is saying right,try coming close to her maybe then laksh will forget everything we did and forgive you"added Shekar hurting Swara more seeing her father still doesn't care for her
She felt lonely, she who destroyed her marriage for her sister neither did she get acceptance from her dadi or her father's eyes held love and care for her just like for her sister. Her eyes moisten in regret for leaving everything for her sister who only regard her when she's in need.
Sharmitha patted her back seeing her sad yet she could only give a forced smile for after her mother's marriage she only becomes her priority after Gadodia's. They headed inside when they heard Dp's voice.
"Laksh, sanskar after escorting your wives inside come to the study rooms"told Dp standing up
" Raginiji I hope you still remember your way"said laksh while Sanskar didn't utter anything which hurter Swara.
Dp looked at them in disappointment but before he can say anything his wife interrupted him"Sujata has Pari slept already?"
"Yes jiji it's like she was tired ,but now I want answers from you three"answered Sujata
"Not only you Sujata all of us need complete truth" added Dp glaring at them
"Ok let's go to the study room"told sanskar
"A you sure sanskar "murmured laksh
"Do I look like am joking If you want Ma's broom to fall on you then don't offer answers"responded Sanskar while Laksh stared at Sujata horrified.
"Ragini if I found you trying to eavesdrop,I won't hesitate to send you back to Gadodias house with your belongings"threatened laksh
Study room
The siblings explained how they knew of Khushi being alive and so was Pari how Khushi arrived in the orphanage , their interaction through years and again her disappearance.
The two brothers went along informing the family about her first marriage and what they learned until divorce. Everyone was astonished learning of her suffering but Sujata action astonished them more.
"Ma! Exclaimed sanskar helding his abused cheek after seeing enraged Sujata who had just slapped her while the remaining two siblings use the palm in covering their cheeks.
"What ma, sanskar. Those people are still roaming freely who hurt your sister and here your saying Ma"question Sujata shaking him
"Ma do you think that would have been possible?but doll threaten me not to do anything to them" told sanskar
Uttara was relieved her mother is yet to know of that family being her in-laws least she gets same treatment as sanskar. They didn't reveal about Aarav and Ruhi waiting to see the reaction of their family .
Though their heart pained they decided to focus in future.
The two brothers heading to the office as leaving the siblings to spend and enjoy the day together since they could see how Adarsh stared longingly at his younger siblings.
The moment Khushi woke up the house was no longer silent,the sibling kept teasing,pranking as they throw pillows at each other. The house look disorganized and that's how the two brothers found in the evening.
They've just packed the car but astonish with noise coming from the mansion. They headed inside in wonder until a flying pillow thrown by Khushi hit Dp on the face.
Khushi who was the culprit ran towards her father and uncle to complain about her elder siblings while others stood still shivering seeing Dp serious face glaring at them.
"Papa, bade Papa see what bhaiyus and Didu did even after I warned them. They refused to listen and even Didu helped in making the living room untidy. Punish them Bade papa" told Khushi embracing Dp who fumed looking at his sons and nephew gulp trying to avert their eyes from staring at him.
"What is this behaviour Sanskar and laksh?and you Adarsh, I didn't expect this from you. I want this place cleaned before I returned downstairs and the dinner will be prepared by you four" uttered Dp glaring at the siblings while laksh wanted to say something but Dp moved from there.
Khushi was enjoying seeing her siblings cleaning as they mutter some cursing words glaring at her. She looked at them smiling innocently showing them her well arranged teeth behind her father.
"All this was started by you laksh, now see what you've caused "glared Adarsh while laksh looked shocked hearing the accusation
"I can't believe that devil sold us out "said sanskar who was silent all along
"What's new in that, seeing her innocent face papa will keep smiling at her but us we receive his glares. I don't know what mistake I did in the past which am being punished"commented a pouting laksh while others burst out laughing hearing his statement
"We better start cleaning before papa return back"told laksh while others started working hurriedly.
The 3 daughter-in-laws who were there from the beginning were shocked seeing the events that took place Infront of them. They stared at Khushi who smiled at them innocently before heading towards her siblings.
"Do any of you need my help"questioned Khushi innocently while her eyes twinkle with mischief
The siblings glared at her who she pouted knowing it melt there anger and it didn't disappoint her.
"No doll you just sit down and supervise us"told sanskar making her sit comfortable
"Yes sanskar is right Choti"added laksh who saw the twinkling eyes knew wheels was turning in her brain.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Ragini we should start setting the table,ma and chachi will be arriving and am sure papa and chachu will be coming down in a few minutes"told Pari
"Ok but should we also take the food prepared by Khushi?questioned a curious Ragini
"I think we should "answered a clueless pari
At the same time a car had arrived at Maheswari parking lot. A toddler took off towards the mansion the moment her legs stepped down not heeding to her brother's call.
When inside she collided with Ragini who was carrying apple juice and all the content splash all over them. While the boy who followed behind stood still seeing the mishap created and his sister being apart of it while those two behind Ragini stood trying to recollect how things happened suddenly.
The toddler looked at Ragini innocently who was wiping her face shocked at what just happened. She glared at the child who held her ears uttering sorry to her. But enraged Ragini was far from it since their work went to waste due to the unknown child in the mansion.
"You!who are you and what are you doing here"question Ragini while the child looked at her in confusion since she said sorry but she got no response
"Am asking you and your looking without answering?"said Ragini pulling her towards her ready to stroke her bum when her hands was held midway tightly .
The brother who saw everything wanted to berate her sister but when he saw her apologizing he was relieved but still decided to talk to her later. He fumed seeing how the lady was glaring at his sister even after apologizing but his anger reached its peak seeing her raising her hands ready to hit her. He run faster to protect her innocent sister who was still looking at everything clueless.
"Don't you dare think of hitting my sister"his voice boomed all over the mansion while Ragini hiss in pain due to how tightly her hands was being held.
