"It opened." After days of hard work, we were finally able to force open that ridiculously heavy gate. "Finally!" I exclaimed, we continued following a path directed to us by Zebro.
Followed the path heading towards the smoky mountain where the mansion resided, "Yn are we gonna die"
"What" As we were walking up the path, this guy, Leorio asked the most silly ass question. "No, Leorio, I wouldn't have come with you guys if that were the case" I chuckled, He sighed in relief, "So you will tell us when we'll like, die right?"
I raised an eyebrow at him, "No way, that would, like.. fuck up the story..." I mumbled, but it still reached their ears and he was obviously gonna retort back, but Kurapika interrupted "Why are you worrying about that anyway?"
"Well, obviously wouldn't you want to know when you're gonna die?? So you can watch out for it an-and maybe avoid death!" He stumbled over his words from how fast he was speaking, "Only thing you'll be avoiding is actually living life!" I chuckled, and then he asked "Why??!" in a baffled tone
"I mean, if you're gonna 'watch out' for every single thing that just might cause your death, you'll just be a paranoid little shit!" I said recalling the movie 'Final Destination',
"They're right, you'll just live your life fearing death" Kurapika remarked, Leorio was at a loss, he ended up sighing while letting out a bummed out 'fine'

We finally stumbled upon Canary, who is now standing opposite us "Please leave now, you're trespassing on private property, I can't allow you to proceed without permission," She advised with a calm voice.
"But we called ahead, and we came through the testing gate," Gon said, explaining
"The butler's quarters did not permission for you to enter"
"What the heck do we need to do to get permission? I even told them I was Killua's friend and everything!" Gon said, his tone of voice suddenly changing, bros patience is running thin
"Who knows? No one has ever received permission" She responded with raised eyebrows, "In any case, this is where I draw the line" She said as she quite literally draws a line between us "Take one step past it and I will remove you by force if necessary"
Just right after she says it, Gon steps on the line and proceeds to get flung away by her weapon, Leorio and Kurapika swiftly took out their weapons, getting ready to go combat on her, only to get stopped by Gon
"Stay where you are, I'll handle this," He said with a groan, "Bro your ass is bleeding" His nose was dripping blood, but he said he was fine
Gon once again approached Canary again, and of course, got hit again, he continuously did this for literally hours man, this kid is very determined. "You two adults are soo responsible, letting a 12-year-old get hit over and over again" I commented, dragging out the word 'so' in a mocking tone, I crossed my arms and gave them a look
"We're just the same age, y/n" Kurapika said, "Yeah as if you're one to talk, y/n" Leorio retorted back, I shake my head at them "I don't like how you guys are threesome-ing me" I turned my back to watch Gon get hit again and again, it was entertaining at first, but now it's getting repetitive.
"Man, this is getting boring" I mumbled, sitting down on the grass
Gon's face was all swollen from taking hits, "Hey, I crossed the line, shouldn't you hit me?" Gon said after absolutely obliterating the short wall made of stone next to her, Canary stood there gripping her rod, clearly hesitant to throw any more hits at him.
"You're different from mike, maybe you're trying to hide your feelings, but you still have a heart, when I mentioned Killua's name your eyes softened for a moment" Gon said as Canary's eyes started to well up tears
She sniffed and said with a shaky voice,"Please, help him, help master-"

In an instant her body fell onto the ground with a thud, in the midst of processing what just happened, a lady's voice suddenly spoke from the trees "Honestly, what was that servant blabbing about? She made it sound like we were being mean to Killua"
"Wild guess, but I think it's because you are being mean to Killua" I said in a sarcastic tone, but she seemed to ignore it
We immediately checked on Canary's body to see if she was okay. "Illumi told me all about you lot, Killua is aware you've been on the premises for quite some time now," She said, staring down at us with her dumbass singular dot of an eye,
"I have a message from Killua that he asked me to relay to you; 'thank you for coming, I'm happy that you did, but I can't see you right now, I'm sorry' "
"His ass did not say that!" I shouted at her once again, "Yes, he did in fact, how would you know?"
"I know everything and Killua in fact did not say that!! Stop spreading misinformation!"
She visibly got upset with me, "I am not spreading such misinformation, he did say it" She said, clearly irritated as her tone raised with each word

"Wait, is she telling the truth y/n?" Gon asked, "No, she likes to lie." I said, "Killua is in solitary confinement getting his ass beaten." I whispered to them in the lowest of low tones ever, I held a finger to my lip, she doesn't know I know !

We finally arrived at the butler's quarters which looked like a manor (to me, personally) , its imposing facade lit up by a multitude of lights, and five men were already standing there, waiting for us apparently, they were all dressed in impeccably tailored suits that exuded an air of confidence and authority as they greeted as with the usual, respectful bow, "Welcome, honored guests"
The quarters were bigger and nicer than my house for sure.
"We apologize for our previous discourtesy, we have been informed by the lady of the house that from now on you are to be treated as official guests" Gotoh said as he sat on the chair opposite us, the small table between both seats was lined with fresh cups of tea that were arranged in a neat line for each of us.
"Now please make yourselves comfortable." As he said that, all the water in my body suddenly wants out, "If so, can you point me to the restroom?" God, being around these formal-ass people is making my ass formal!! "Of course" he said,
I excused myself after the peepee room was shown to me, 'God, this bathroom looks nicer than my room..' I unzipped my pants and released my bodily fluids

Also mb for a very late update.. again (very expected)
anyways I had to spend months trying to beat the mentally ill allegations to not get sent to a ward 💪 💪 so i couldnt rlly think of what put in the new ch
but finally, i suddenly got motivation to do so!
also, ngl all this getting back into writing fanfics is getting me nostalgic of how it was back then nd i miss it :( i miss just watching anime & reading manga all day, now quarantine is gone and i have responsibilities again >:( dont grow old guys it's horrible!!
