Kunj was very sleepy but to not upset his brother more, he went to the mess.
He entered the mess and saw a tall, young muscular boy of around karan 's age or little order than him ,was standing there waiting for kunj.
Kunj went towards him and saluted.
Kunj- 'Cadet kunj sharma, first year reporting for mess duty sir' he introduced
Aryan- 'I know who you are cadet. Now we don't have time for all this formal stuff, so cut the crap and get onto work fast ' he said in a hurry
Suddenly all the sleep escaped his eyes and he started following all the commands that aryan was giving him.
Aryan- 'Chop all these vegetables' he said while poiting at the stack of vegetables kept at one corner.
Kunj 's eyes widened and he said 'Itni saari? ' he asked
Aryan - 'Hanji beta itni saari. Ab chalo kaam pe lag jao jaldi se ' he said
Kunj nodded and started taking out the vegetables from the vegetable bags.
Aryan - 'Faster kunj. Iss speed se kaam karega toh sab cadets aaj breakfast nhi ker paayenge' he said
Kunj- 'Yes sir, sir i am trying my best ' he said
Aryan- 'Oh! Is it your best? I think I should call colonel here. Maybe he can motivate you. Isn't kunj? ' he asked
Kunj immediately shook his head and said 'Sorry sir. I will improve sir '
And started working faster.
Aryan - 'Dekh colonel ke naam se kitna jaldi kaam kerne lag gya tu. Yaha ka ek ek bacha sirf unhi se darta hai ' he laughed while shaking his head
Kunj pouted and said 'Voh hai hi itne strict. Ab isme meri galati thodi hai. ' he whined
Aryan- 'Haan idea toh colonel ka tha bahar jaane ka haina? Aap toh bilkul innocent hai. Aapki toh galati hi nhi thi haina? ' he asked
Kunj sulked and said 'But uski punishment toh de hi di already unhone hume. Aapko pta hai kitna maara unhone hume '
Aryan laughed at his innocence.
Kunj- 'Mai toh yaha soldier ban ne aaya tha, chef bna ke rkh diya bhai... ' he stopped immediately after realizing his mistake and covered his mouth with both of his hands.
Kunj- 'I.. I mean sir.. Sir ne ' he stuttered.
Aryan smiled and came very close to him and whispered 'don't worry. Mujhe pta hai tumhare chote se secret ke baare mai. Tumhare priye bade bhai ne khud aake btaya tha mujhe. Tension mat le kisi ko nhi btaunga'
Kunj looked at him with wide eyes and said 'Bhai ne aapko btayi yeh baat ? '
Aryan nodded
Kunj- 'Sachi? ' he asked
Aryan made an offended face and said 'Tujhe doubt hai toh chal tere pyaare bhai se hi puchne chalte hai ' he said while dragging kunj lightly.
Kunj immediately backed off and said 'Aree aap toh bura hi maan gye. Sorry sorry. I don't doubt you sir '
Aryan started laughing and said 'Relax kiddo, I was just kidding. Don't freak out.'
And kunj sighed in relief.
Kunj- 'Aapne toh dara hi diya tha sir ' he said while keeping his hand over his chest.
Aryan- 'bhaiya... Bhaiya bulaya ker. Mai tera senior thodi hu ' he said
Kunj- 'But ho toh aap senior hi. And agar mujhe aapko informally bulana bhi ho toh uncle bolunga na, bhaiya kehlaane ki umar thodi hai aapki. ' he teased
Aryan raised his eyebrows and said 'Acha beta. Ruk abhi tere bhai ko bulata hu ' he teased back.
Kunj - 'Aree yaar kya aap bhi, baar baar bhai ka naam leke darate rehte ho. Mai aapse baat nhi karunga. ' he said and pouted.
Aryan - 'Kyunki tu unke naam se hi set hota hai ' he said while patting his shoulders.
Kunj whined and pouted.
Aryan - 'Chal ab bohot ho gayi majak masti, ab kaam ker lete hai. Verna tere pyaare bhaiya ji aake hum dono ki class laga denge. ' he said while going back to work.
Kunj nodded and started chopping the vegetables
Kunj- 'Aapse ek baat puchu bhaiya? ' he asked while chopping the veggies
Aryan hummed in response and said 'Puch beta ' he said while concentrating on his work
Kunj- 'Jab bhaiya yaha cadet the, tab bhi aap yaha ke head chef the? ' he asked
Aryan nodded and said 'Haan but uss time pe mai junior chef tha, head chef mai pichle saal bana hu ' he said and kunj looked at him with big doe eyes .
Kunj- 'Bhaiya pls batao na bhaiya ke training days ke baare mai kuch. Bhaiya hume toh kuch bhi nhi btate. Hum dono jab bhi unse kuch puchte hai voh humari baat taal dete hai ' he said the last part with a pout on his face.
Aryan smiled and said 'Haan haan bataunga but abhi nhi. Abhi bilkul time nhi hai. Tujhe bhi morning run ke liye jaana hai 15 minutes.' He said.
Kunj- 'Please na bhaiya. Bta do naa jaldi se. Bilkul time waste nhi hoga. Kaam kerte kerte hi bata do ' he pleaded.
Aryan - 'Nhi beta dekh, baate kerte hue agar kaam kro toh speed low ho jaati hai orr agar yeh kaam khatam nhi hua toh mai tujhe morning run pe nhi jaane dunga. Aur colonel agar mujhse puchenge toh unhe bta dunga ki tune kaam time se complete nhi kra. Fir tu apna haal soch liyo. Baakii choice is yours ' he said and shrugged his shoulders
Kunj thought about it and chose the safer option and said 'Haan aap keh toh thik hi rhe ho. Abhi kaam ker lete hai, baad mai par pakka bataoge naa baate? ' he asked.
Aryan smiled and nodded
'Haan haan beta pakka bataunga '
They completed all the work by the time of his morning .
He still has five minutes left so he decided to rest in the mess it self.
He sat on a chair and started massaging his aching and sore muscles.
Aryan felt pity for him and decided to make him his special smoothie.
Aryan- 'Muscles mai jyaada pain ho rhi hai kunj? ' he asked while making the smoothie.
Kunj looked up and said 'Hanji bhaiya, ho toh rhi hai. Kal raat se hi band baji padhi hai ' he said more like a whine.
Aryan - 'Chal yeh le, yeh pi le jaldi se. Better feel hoga. Aur tune raat se kuch khaa bhi nhi rkha chal ' he said while handing him the glass of his world famous apple curd smoothie.
Kunj- 'Yeh kya hai? ' he asked while taking the glass from him.
Aryan- 'Jeher. Chal jaldi se pile' he teased.
Kunj - 'Aap mujhe maarne ki koshish ker rhe ho jeher deke? ' he asked
Aryan - 'Beta aapke paas kul milake 3 minute hai morning run ke liye jaane se pehle' he said while looking at his wrist watch 'ab yeh 3 minute tune baate kerke barbaad kerne hai toh go ahead , i am not stopping you'
Kunj's eyes widened and he immediately started gulping the smoothie. The moment he tasted it, he wanted nothing but this smoothie in his mouth.
It finished the glass in 1 minute and said 'wow yaar bhaiya. Yeh pehle kyu nhi kabhi diya. Yeh kitna tasty tha. Maja hi aa gya kasam se' he said while wiping his lips.
Aryan winked at him and said 'Kuch cheeze rarely hi milti hai kunj and now run to the training ground, you have only 120 seconds left. ' he said and kunj got up and started leaving.
His steps halted and he turned around and said 'Thank you bhaiya ' and ran away.
Aryan smiled and shook his head at his childishness.
Kunj reached the ground and saw all the cadets present there.
He spotted his brother and friends. He went towards them and stood besides them.
Siddharth - 'Tu thik hai na? Bhai ne maara toh nhi tujhe? Mai toh office ke bahar hi tha fir ptani kese room mai pohoch gya. Tu abhi tak bhai ke saath tha? Bol na tu kuch bol kyu nhi raha? ' he asked so many questions together.
Kunj made a so done face and said 'aap bolne doge tab toh kuch bolunga mai '
And he told them everything that happened in the office and about the punishment.
By the end they all were laughing and rahul said 'Ek mahine mai toh sir tujhe Pro chef bna denge kunj'
Siddharth- 'Haan yaar, bhai bhi kitne innovative hai punishment dene mai ' he said while laughing.
They all started teasing and he started whining.
Soon the instructors and karan entered the ground and their training started.
