Y/N's Pov

Hearing the third year that we should fighting came of quite shocking. I was excited honestly, while most of my class was simply confused. Everyone started asking questions and wondering if he was serious, but before anything else could happen, we first needed Aizawa sensei's approval.

Knowing this, the third year turned to look at him, and then said. "It would be more effective if they could 'feel' our experience with their own body, wouldn't you say so, Eraser Head?!" And while he didn't seem to mind all that much, he did give us permission, and so we went to Gym Gamma.

Once we got there, some of my classmates were still wondering if this was serious, while him, as well as I, started warming up a bit and preparing for the fight. While all of this happened, Amajiki, who was still pretty much by the side, started talking. From where I was I couldn't really hear him, but I could understand what he wanted to say.

He started saying that his classmate shouldn't do this, and that he should just use the regular method, and then said that, since none of us had a really strong will, he should at least go a bit easy on us. I wasn't sure about many things about myself, but I liked to think that my will was strong, so I took this as some kind of challenge.

Following this, Nejire mentioned how, once there was a student who gave up on being a hero, causing a lot of problems and, if he somehow caused anything like this, he would get in trouble.

Now that all of that was out of the way, we all stood infront of him, ready to fight, but just before we started, Fumikage started questioning if this was a good idea, as we all had experience fighting alongside pros, as well as Eijiro, who mentioned that we also had experience against villains, and then asked him if it was correct for us to fight him alone. I personally didn't believe that our experience would be a match for him, as he was a third year, but I simply shut it, and waited for the fight to begin.

The third year said that it was alright, and that we could come right at him. He then asked who would go first, and as Eijiro wanted to take that spot, Izuku won it, as he was clearly more excited from his house arrest. He took interest in Izuku, as he even called Izuku the trouble kid, and we finally got to the fighting part.

We all instantly activated our quirks, and then Izuku went head on first to him, delivering a kick right at his face, however, thanks to his permeation quirk, he was able to avoid it, as his clothes also started coming off, which made sense, however, for the rest of my classmates, this came of as a surprise.

As he quickly fixed up at least his pants, he turned to look at Izuku, and said. "Right for the face, huh?" And as a combined blow got right to his face, in which I participated with Katsuki's quirk, he reactivated his quirk just right on time to avoid them as well. As the dust of the light explosion wore off, we could all see that he had disappeared, but I could already feel him moving below us.

After following him with my gaze for a second, I noticed that he was coming out just behind all the long range, appearing just infront of Kyoka, and basically scaring the life out of her, while also saying. "I guess I should start with the ones at long range!!!" Everyone was shocked about how he just moved, and I could hear some say that his quirk was really strong, and while it wasn't bad, it didn't seem all that strong to me, but that was for later.

Before any of them could react, the Third year just started hitting all of them in the gut, practically knocking them out in one punch, and in just a couple seconds, he was already done with all of our long range, besides me. "Alright class, this is a good opportunity for all of you to be beaten and learn from it." Started saying Aizawa sensei. "From what I know, this guys, Mirio Togata, is the closest one to being the number one, including pros!" More than being shocked by this, I was relieved to at least know his name.

Now that our force had been cut in half, everyone kept saying just how strong he was, but Izuku, in his more analytic way of being, said. "There must be a trick to it! Whether he dodges through teleportation, or he teleports through his dodging, it doesn't matter. We must keep counterattacking, and we'll find our chance!" Eijiro was quite surprised by Izuku's analysis, and now that they at least had something to grasp, we got prepared for more.

Mirio was excited to see us get in the mood, and then started running at us, just before suddenly falling through the floor. Everyone was shocked, but thanks to my quirk, and Izuku's prediction, we were able to see Mirio coming out behind us, and while Izuku went with a kick, I fired some AP shots with Katsuki's quirk.

It was clear that Mirio didn't mind any of this, as he simply fazed through our attacks, and went for an eye poke to Izuku, or at least it seemed like that, because he suddenly changed of course, and threw a kick right at my gut, which I wasn't able to avoid in the slightest, making me gag from the pain.

Before he even left, he also threw a punch at Izuku's gut, and then went on to the rest, knocking them out with a punch to their guts as well, and as he stood in a triumphant pose, he exclaimed. "POWER!!!" Which seemed to be some kind of victory roar of his, but I wasn't done.

Even if I was excited for this fight, I wasn't quite in the mood yet, but his attack fixed that. On the outside, losing a limb while having the Super Regeneration doesn't seem to hurt all that much, but it's actually just as painful as for a regular person, it just fixes everything quickly, meaning that this punch was nothing to me, but it did help me get fired up.

Once I got used to the pain, I stood in position, and with help of Izuku's quirk, jumped right at him with a kick. I didn't feel all that bad about attacking from the back, as he was the one showing it to me, but that's when Nejire exclaimed. "Mirio!" And while it seemed to be a slip up from her, since she didn't want to interfere, it was enough for him to reflexively activate his quirk, and avoid it.

As I landed at the other side, he deactivated his quirk and said. "Wow, I didn't think someone could stay standing after a punch like that." He seemed a bit surprised while saying this, but quickly changed to a serious expression, and as he got into a fighting stance again, he finished with. "But I guess that's to be expected from someone of your reputation!" And as I got prepared as well, we went right at each other.

A couple meters before encountering each other, he suddenly sank below the floor again, leaving his pants behind. My gut would normally tell me that he would appear just behind me, but the fact that he had done already that told me otherwise, and I was right, as his aura told me that he seemed to maneuver a bit below the floor, resulting in a slight, but important, change of direction.

Instead of reappearing just behind me, he spawned a bit to the left, however, he didn't seem to predict what I did. My first thought was to attack him, but it was too obvious, so I instead copied Shoto's quirk, and with his ice side, created a barrier just above from where he was appearing, meaning that he wouldn't come out when he expected.

As he started coming upwards, I quickly jumped right at him, and as he came out, I delivered a kick right at him, however, displaying why he was the top student, I couldn't hit him, as he surely noticed that there was something wrong, and so, he reactivated his quirk,

While this kind of prediction didn't leave him in such a tight spot, it wasn't entirely better for him, as he still had to breath, something I didn't allow him to do. He then started falling back down, and looking at his movements, I could assume that he was aiming to fall backwards, probably to get out of my wall of ice. With this in mind, I positioned myself on top of the wall, and while gripping to the side, I went down at a similar pace, so when his trajectory changed, I could more or less see from where he was going to come out, and prepared to land a punch even before he came out.

He quickly approached the exterior of my wall, and even before his back was out, I had already thrown my punch, which shattered part of the wall, getting him right in my way, and causing quite some damage to him. I was kind of sure that he would normally be able to avoid this kind of punch from me, but it was probably better for him to receive the punch, as he quite possibly had to reevaluate the situation and get some air.

My punch dragged both of us down to the floor, however, even after receiving the initial hit to the chest, he was able to get away from my fist, and with a couple jumps, get back in position, which was quite impressive. "Huh- Didn't know you could locate- Ugh- People like that." He was clearly damaged by my punch, but seeing as it was barely the first hit as well, it probably just worked as a warmup for him, just like with me, meaning that we were just getting started.

I stayed silent during his quick 'speech', while also showing just a couple of expressions, mostly to showcase that I was listening, but truthfully, it was mostly to stall a bit, in order to copy Aizawa sensei's quirk, and use it on him.

I was just trying to get time, and not really focusing on the being sneaky part, so when he said. "And I bet we'll get more physical, as you wouldn't pass out an opportunity to use Eraser Head's quirk, would you?" I was quite surprised that he predicted it, but not frustrated, as that wasn't against my plans.

We first one had a quick standoff with each other, and then went right at the other one. I didn't want to go to hard on him or myself, so I simply used both Tetsutetsu's and Eijiro's quirks, as it didn't put that much of a strain on my mind, while also not being that big of a strength boost against him, so while my punches would hurt quite a bit, they wouldn't easily knock him out or do any long-term damage.

As we started hitting each other, I could notice just how much training had he poured into his body, as every kick and punch he threw at me rivaled my own, or even surpassed them. This was combined with his predictive capabilities, which not only allowed him to dodge a lot of my attacks, but also land more on me than I would've liked, and if it wasn't for my Total Concentration Breathing, I really wouldn't have been able to keep up with him.

We kept attacking each other for a solid minute or two, which may sound like just a little time, but it doesn't seem like that when you're fighting fist to fist with someone else, especially while also trying to keep three different quirks, and a special type of breathing, at the same time, so it really felt like quite a while. At this point, the two of us accumulated quite a lot of damage, so we both backed up a little, while also gasping for air.

As we started getting better, we both looked at each other, and it was clear on his gaze that he felt excited and satisfied, and honestly, so was I. "Yeah...I can see how you earned your reputation, even as a first year." Hearing this from him did boost my ego a bit, so I let out a light chuckle, and then said.

"I can also see what made you part of the Big Three." He chuckled back at this, and then we stood silent for a little more. After those more couple of seconds, he stretched a bit in place, got back in position, and asked.

"Well, this can't be it, can it? I mean, you're amazing, but this isn't nearly enough for you to stand side to side with All Might at Kamino, so show me. What was that? What makes you even more special, and I'll show you mine." He then stood in a different position from before, so I assumed he was meaning to say that the fight was getting serious, which surprised me at first, but then inspired me.

I also stood in a better position for myself, and as I focused as much as I could on him, I also activated my Demon-Given Talent, in order to cement any opportunity he had against me, and guarantee my victory.

The two of us were about to attack each other, as I could see his calve muscles contracting quite a lot, while my toes were starting to apply a lot of pressure on the floor, however, just as a second before we attacked, Aizawa sensei stepped up and exclaimed. "Okay, that's enough for today. We've lost enough time here." Which came out as quite a surprise for both of us, making us trip in place, as the shock was simply too much.

As I got up from the floor, I turned to look at Aizawa sensei, and said. "But sensei..." However, just by his look, I could tell that there was no budging on this, so I simply said. "Yes, Aizawa sensei." And then deactivated my Demon-Given Talent, as Mirio went to look for his clothes.

Once we were all gathered again, Mirio stood in front of us, and seeing that basically all of my classmates were still doubling down in pain, he said. "Well, I guess that's it then. Sorry if I overdid myself, guys." Which only earned him a collective groan, and a lot of weak nods in response from my classmates, while I simply stayed a bit to the side, messing around with his quirk, in order to understand it a bit better.

He chuckled lightly at my class's response, and then he asked. "So, do you think my quirk's strong?" This question seemed to anger them quite a lot, as they all started exclaiming just how angry they were about how strong his quirk was.

I think Nejire was going to say something, probably give her explanation about his quirk, but before she did, I simply said. "It's not really good." Which got me all of their attention, so now I had to explain. "It's not bad, as it has quite a lot of potential, but it isn't good as well. It requires an insane level of precision, and it leaves almost no room for error, as they can widely range. From simply getting a disadvantage in battle, to potential death. The skill required to make good use of this quirk, and therefore, your skill, is simply amazing." This seemed to send a shiver through my classmates, and earned a laugh from Mirio, who then said.

"I guess it makes sense that the one with copying powers understands it." And as he changed to a more comfortable position, he started explaining his quirk. He first clarified how he 'teleported', as he was simply falling through the floor, and then used his quirk to impulse himself up again. Mina mentioned that it felt like a bug in a videogame, making Mirio laugh, but was then followed by Tsuyu being confused by why was it as dangerous as I said.

In a bit more serious tone, Mirio said that it was strong because he made it strong himself. He then explained how everything trespasses him, including air, light, and sound, meaning that, when his quirk is active, he's simply falling into a void, without being able to feel anything. He then explained that, in order to perform 'simple' tasks, like going through a wall, he must perform several steps before, making those tasks hard.

Now my classmates started understanding how difficult to use was that quirk, and I also mentioned that it would be hard for me as well, unless I used my Demon-Given Talent, which surprised them quite a lot.

As a quick close up, Mirio started going more in deep about the whole internship part, and how a big part of that was what made him the fighter he is today. He said how we were no longer going to be 'visitors', but rather be considered pros, and so, we would have a lot more responsibilities, and how, with help of those experiences, even if they were scary, they would mold us further into what we dreamed to be.

Everyone was quite impressed, so we gave him a quick round of applause, just before being called back by Aizawa sensei. Once we were back at our classroom, he simply remembered us that the internships were still being discussed for us first years, and then went on with the day as if it was any other.

Once the day came to an end, I reunited with my friends, who seemed to have a more normal day. They were also explained about the internships by some third years, but it wasn't nearly as eccentric as what happened to me. Knowing this, I told them about my experience, and they were quite amazed by what I told them, or at least most of them, as Togaru seemed a bit jealous, and even though he didn't say anything, I could clearly see that he wanted to fight as well.

Aside from that, the day went fairly normal during the afternoon as well, and after a day of training, talking, and some snuggling with Itsuka, it was time to sleep. I still didn't have a permit to stay over with Itsuka, so we only gave each other a good night kiss, and then I went back to my dorm, while she stayed back in her room.

As the next day rolled around, and after my quick morning routine, we were all back in classroom, and with Katsuki back, Aizawa sensei told us the state about the internships. "Despite the Work Studies of the first years, the results of yesterday's conference were very clear. With the Principal ahead, the majority of the teachers simply said, suspend it." Which was quite surprising for all of us, including me, mostly due to everything that happened yesterday, and that now seemed pointless.

Everyone got really worked up about this, as they were clearly upset, while Katsuki seemed confused and angry, but Aizawa sensei wasn't done. "However, there are also those who think our policy of keeping such a close eye on you isn't going to make you any favors, so instead, we changed our policy to only those agencies with a good record of keeping an eye on students." This made me wonder if K met those requirements, but I assumed he did, as his agency was among the best.

The rest of the day wen on normally, and so I ended up with my friends again. "So, are any of you guys planning on joining an agency?" I asked to them, as we went back to the dorms.

Tetsutetsu seemed a bit more calm than usual, and he answered. "Not really. I don't have any connections from the Sports Festival, so instead of using too much time on trying to find someone, I'd rather focus on my quirk, and making it as strong as I can!" To be honest, this was a more rational thinking from him than I, or probably, any of us expected, but we didn't think too much about it and just congratulated him.

I personally wasn't going to think too much about this, and just go on asking, but before I got to that, Pony lightly exclaimed. "What a wonderful idea! Would you mind if I train with you, Tetsu?" And while he simply nodded, I paid more attention to that 'nickname' of hers, since it reminded me to the one I gave to Itsuka, and the one she gave to me, after we became a couple.

I didn't think they were something like that yet, well, not like I really knew how to notice that kind of stuff, but no matter was I right or wrong, I was glad. "And what about you, Togaru?" I asked next, as to try to continue with the conversation.

He simply scoffed at this, and then said. "Well, as the only member of Class 1-B who got to the final round on the Sports Festival, I did obtain quite a lot of petitions. Nothing as glamorous as K, but I have multiple options, even after this 'new' policy." I chuckled lightly at the way in which he replied, and then Setsuna said.

"Oh, then, would you mind presenting me to someone? I don't have any references, but I would also like to participate in this internships!" I think we were all slightly surprised by this, but without losing that smug look, he said.

"I guess I could." And seeing this, I guess Awase thought he had a chance, so he asked for the same as Setsuna, however, this seemed to anger Togaru a bit, who simply said at him. "Find someone by yourself, moron." Which got Awase a bit worked up.

"C'mon! You're recommending her! Why can't you recommend me as well?!" To which Togaru angrily replied.

"It's different with her! She got into U.A by recommendation at least, what do you have?!" And so, they started arguing between them, with Awase insisting that Togaru recommended him to an agency, like Setsuna, and him stating a hard no, saying that she was more deserving of the recommendation.

Even though it was a fight, it didn't seem all that worrisome, and they would probably tire each other out, so neither me nor Itsuka interfered, moment that I used to ask her. "And you, Itsu? You sure you don't want me to talk to K about you?" And after a quick laugh at what was happening with Awase and Togaru, she replied.

"Not really, but thanks." I was curious as to why she really didn't want to, but she already told me that she wanted to grow by herself, so I simply tried to shrug it off, but I guess she could see it on my eyes, because she then said. "Don't get me wrong, seeing the new change in policies, I would normally end up asking you to do so, but since you're going with K, it does make me feel a bit uneasy. I'll think about it some more, and then I'll maybe ask you, but for the time being, I guess I'll join Pony and Tetsutetsu in their training, and Yosetsu." I was kind of confused, but I was glad to know that she would at least think about it.

Following this, we all spend the rest of the day in their dorm. Talking and also doing some homework for the day, until it was time for me to leave. As the rest of the week went by as well, nothing that important came up, until it was time for me to go see K again.

I prepared everything I had to take with me, and after asking Itsuka one final time, to which she still said no, I left for K's agency. Unlike last time, I had to travel a bit more in order to get to his agency, as this time I was directed to the central agency in Tokyo, which was surprising, but a bit exciting as well.

It took me a bit under half an hour to arrive there by train, and as I got out of the train, I looked around the entire place, and to be honest, I wasn't that impressed. Not because I didn't like the place, but rather because I had already been here a couple of times for work.

It took me a bit more time, but soon enough, I was at K's agency. "Glad to see you again Y/N. K's been expecting you." Said Carmen to me, as she also guided me through the building. It was nice to see her again, and as she explained to me a couple about how my internship would work, we got to K's office. "I'll leave you two to talk." Said Carmen, and as she closed to door behind me, I walk a bit closer, and was promptly greeted by K.

"Good to see you again, Y/N."

Chapter End

U.A Side Stories

The win rate between Mirio and Y/N ranges from 75% of advantage for Mirio, to full win for Y/N. This mainly depends on what state is Y/N fighting on. Considering a normal state, Mirio gets the upper hand almost always with his predictions, however, considering Y/N's Demon-Given Talent, Mirio's predictions become almost worthless, as Y/N could react to them, and change of movement before he got a chance to counter.

Well, this is it for this week. I hope you enjoyed the fight because I honestly did. This fight was quite possibly among the ones I anticipated the most, so I was really happy when I got to write it, so much so that I actually finished it around a week ago, and I'm about to finish next week's, as I'm really excited about the next arc as well.

Either way, sorry for the late update. I had an event today, and I forgot to publish this chapter before that.

Alright, you know what I ask every week. Leave your feedback, quirk suggestions, and general comments down below! I love reading all of them.

Well, see you in my next chapter, PLUS ULTRA!!!
