With that thought process in mind, he mindlessly began limping towards the opening of the alley.

Suddenly, he turned to you, "Our cats will like this. Should I get them?"

"No they might not since it's new. Let's try it next time."

"I'm out of this snack. Let's buy it now."

You sighed and began roaming around the store to get him his required groceries and snacks since you were pretty sure he'd forget to get them and just buy all of the goodies for the cats you both fed. Looks like you're the responsible one here.
Yep, you were correct. He did not buy a single thing for himself but he looked quite happy with his purchase so you didn't have the heart to say anything to him, not that you could anyway.

You just pat his head as a way of reassuring him.
How the hell did he not notice the completely visible grocery bag yet? Was this boy blind or did he just assume that it was for yourself?
His amber eyes turned to your (taller/shorter/same sized) figure and he gave a warm smile, his eyes turning into crescent moons. "Our cats will like this though... And that's all that matters!"
His contagious cheerful attitude rubbed off on you and you too gave him a bright smile with an excited little 'hmm!'
His cheeks tinted a faint red as he giggled, finding your response quite adorable.
He then noticed your eyes widening at something behind him and he too looked back.
"Huh?"
Ah look, a little kid chasing after his football in the middle of the road. Honestly, what could go wrong?

In order to attempt to save the kid, you were pretty quick to move, the years of training with your brother having sharpened your reflexes. But after recalling that Jiwoo had sonic powers, you tugged him along with you since he was more suitable for the job.

You crossed the road as soon as he saved the boy and merged into the crowd, knowing Jiwoo will be there with you eventually.
As soon as he was at least 30-40 feet away from the kid, you, being the little shit you are, decide to quietly sneak up behind him and give him a scare.
The poor boy was already worrying about his powers being revealed to the public and about you being nowhere in sight.
Just as he was about to call you to know about your whereabouts, you practically threw yourself at his back. Let's just say he had a heart attack.

"Hmm!" You hummed and gave him a back hug as a way of saying that he did the right thing and that you're proud of him.
He turned into a humanoid tomato, still not used to your clingy behaviour even after spending numerous years with you. He did hug you back (or more like your arms), though.
After sending a quick text to Haeun that you'll be staying over at Jiwoo's house to feed and play with the cats, you followed him, both of you conversing cheerfully on your way. (Or more like him being a cinnamon roll and you humming along happily)

"Hello~ How've you been? Sorry. You must be hungry, we got off of school late today." Jiwoo greeted the cats while stepping down the stairs with you just behind him.
You immediately jumped down to the cats as soon as Jiwoo set down their food and aggressively showed your love to them with a thousand head pats since you hadn't seen them for about three weeks due to you being busy with school and other things. Jiwoo just laughed at your behaviour.
"Seems like you three are always together. Are you family? Or just friends?"
You gave a questioning hum when you realised that they weren't eating and were tugging at your hands with their little paws.
Jiwoo was getting worried now.
"Huh? Why aren't you eating? None of you are eating! I used all of my extra money to buy these for you... Don't leave any food!"
You became sad when the cats started walking away from you both and out the gate of Jiwoo's house.
They meow'd out, clearly indicating both you and Jiwoo to follow them. But, you being you, decided to be both blind and deaf just for that moment because you were depressed that they chose to run away from you and your love.
"You haven't eaten, where are you going? That's strange."
Jiwoo, being the one with the functioning brain, slowly followed them while tugging your depressed form along.
"Meow~" (that was the cat not Jiwoo-)
"Telling us to follow you? Hm?"
Jiwoo turned to you, about to ask about your opinion on the current situation but stopped and sweat dropped when he noticed you still pouting because the kitties left you. He left you alone because he knew, from experience, that it was best to leave you alone when you were annoyed/ being petty.
And no, you weren't wearing a mask right now since you didn't expect anyone to be out so late and also because Jiwoo saw your fangs long ago.
You totally didn't forget to wear your mask because you were excited to meet the cats, nope, never.
Jiwoo grasped your hand to make sure you were with him and followed the cats to an alley.
And guess what was in there? Yep, another cat which looked like it was on the verge of dying.
