Jennie woke up with a smile on her face. The first thing she did was to give each of her girls some kisses. Of course, she also kissed Lisa but it was on the lips which made the latter hum and open her eyes. Lisa smiled as soon as she saw Jennie's mesmerizing beauty. What a great way to start the day. Both of them still feel like everything is surreal.
"Good morning," Jennie greeted.
"Good morning to you too, baby," Lisa caressed her girl's mandu cheeks. Lisa was about to kiss Jennie again when they heard Aelia groan and murmur, "Mama..."
"She must be dreaming about you," Lisa said and they giggled. Jennie went to her daughter and gently tapped the kid's cheek while saying, "Wake up baby, mama is here."
The little girl slowly opened her doe eyes and paused for a while as if she was trying to determine whether the person in front of her is real or just a product of her dream but as soon as she realized that it was really her mother, she instantly buried her face on Jennie's chest.
"Good morning, my baby Sun," Jennie said and kissed the top of the little girl's head.
"Good morning Mama," the girl mumbled.
"How about Dada?" Lisa asked, pretending that she was upset. Aelia looked at her Dada and cheerfully said, "Oh, good morning to you too, Dada."
Just a few seconds later, Luna also woke up from her sweet slumber. She stretched her arms and opened her eyes before calling out to her mama.
"I'm not used to hearing that you're the first person they are looking for the moment they wake up," Lisa said and pouted playfully.
Jennie was about to kiss those pouted lips but they heard their daughters say, "No kissing!" and "Not good for babies." The two of them just chuckled and kissed their kids instead.
Jennie has never felt this happy and complete in her entire life. It's making her emotional again. So, before her tears fall down, Lisa hugged her and the twins did the same. They told each and everyone how much they love each other.
Jennie helped Jiwoo to cook for their family. And Irene also joined them. Lisa already introduced the maids to Jennie which is why she's already a little comfortable being with them. They're both nice anyway. Also, while they were in the kitchen, she kept on thanking the two women for helping Lisa raise the kids. She won't know how she'd express how much she's grateful to them. They played a huge role in making the kids grow up healthy, smart, and happy.
When they finished cooking, she suddenly realized that she haven't told Rosé and Hoyeon her whereabouts. They might even be thinking that she's still in Busan. So, she called Rosé while the maids were still preparing the food on the table.
"Hello?" Jennie as soon as someone picked up the call from the other line.
"Hey, you called. Are you coming back to Seoul already?" Rosé asked because Jennie told her that the latter will call when she's going back so that there will be someone to pick her up.
"Uh actually, I called to tell you that I already got back yesterday," Jennie said.
"How? Why didn't you call? I should've sent someone to pick you up."
"Don't worry, I met someone and we went back together. Actually, I'm staying in her house right now." Jennie was smiling as she say that.
Rosé got curious because there are only a few people that Jennie trusted in Korea. So, who could it be? To find out, she asked, "Who is it? Is that person trustworthy?"
"It's Pranpriya. Roseanne, I finally met her again. To be honest, everything still feels so surreal. I can't explain how happy I am," she said enthusiastically and it warmed her friend's heart.
"Oh my gosh, I'm happy for you as well. You should tell me the details. When are you coming here? I wanna know what happened," Roseanne said. She is genuinely happy to know that her friend finally found her happiness.
"I don't know, I actually can't right now because the kids won't even let me out of their sights," she chuckled. Rosé on the other hand got confused about what Jennie said about kids. Like, whose kids? And what does Jennie have to do with them?
"Kids? Whose kids?"
"Our kids, mine and Priya's," she said proudly but it only made Rosé more confused because as far as she knows, their child died during the delivery. So, she couldn't help but mumble, "How?"
"I know it sounds complicated because I also found it hard to believe it at first but Pranpriya explained to me all the things she knows and how she got them."
"Wait what? Them? It means that you didn't just give birth to one but two?"
"Exactly, it's amazing right?"
"Yes! I want to see them. Tell me the location and I'll visit y'all." Rosé said giddily. Although she also found that information a bit hard to digest, she's excited to meet those mini Jennies.
"If it's not much of a burden, I'd like to uhm ask a favor. It's uh—Can you bring my things with you? It's just that I've been apart from them for a long time. I want to live and spend time with them while we're still here in Seoul," Jennie hesitantly said because she had always been shy whenever she asks favors from her friend.
"Sure. You still haven't changed, you're still uncomfortable when asking favors from other peo—"
"Mama!" Jennie heard Luna call her from the living room.
"Yes, baby? Mama is in the kitchen?" Jennie replied. The kids seemed like they also have separation anxiety. They'd keep on following her most of the time. And when she's out of their sight, they'd call her just to make sure she's still around. And when they fail to see or hear her, they'd end up crying.
"Is that your baby?" Rosé asked from the other line. She must have heard Luna.
"Yes, that's Luna. She hasn't seen me for more than one minute, that's why she called me," she chuckled.
"She sounds so cute."
"By the way, I have to end the call now because we're going to eat breakfast."
"Alright, don't forget to text me the address, okay?" Rosé reminded her and she replied, "Alright. Goodbye, see you later."
"Bye-bye."
And they dropped the call.
"Mama? Where are you?" This time it was Aelia. It might sound adorable but honestly, she feels bad for them because she knows that the reason why they are having symptoms of separation anxiety is that she had been gone for a very long time.
They probably fear that she'd be gone again. As much as she can, she wants to give them the assurance that she'll never let them be separated again.
"Sun, Moon, Mama is just here in the kitchen. Call dada and we'll eat breakfast," Jennie said and she heard little footsteps coming towards her. Through the doorway, they came running towards her.
"Mama, where have you been?" Aelia asked in her cutesy little voice. Jennie chuckled and said, "I was just here in the kitchen." Then she picked up the girls one at a time and placed them in their high chairs.
"Where's Dada?" Jennie asked them but they just shrugged their shoulders. She told Irene to watch them over for a while. Then she went to find Lisa to tell the latter that they were already going to eat. She didn't see that girl around so, she assumed that she was upstairs. Just when she was already walking through the room, she saw Lisa coming out of the bathroom.
She grinned and leaned on the door frame as she watch Lisa wipe her hair and the droplets of water running down on her neck. Mind you, she was only wearing a sports bra on top.
"Ugh, so hot," Jennie mumbled which made Lisa look at her and snicker. She didn't notice that the woman was there watching her.
"But I look better when naked, don't I?" She smirked, and Jennie playfully rolled her eyes before saying, "You know I can't argue with that."
"How about we do a quickie?" Lisa cheekily suggested. Jennie walked towards the naughty woman and when she was already standing in front of the latter, she sensually ran her fingers through those lean shoulders.
Then she put her hands on Lisa's nape and whispered, "No daddy, it's time to eat breakfast and not something else."
"You're such a tease," Lisa said as she held Jennie's waist.
"Maybe, tonight," Jennie said and gave Lisa a quick kiss.
"But the twins..."
"Find ways. And speaking of the twins, we have to get downstairs already or else they'd panic again." The feline-eyed girl said and she reached out Lisa's shirt from the bed, then she helped the latter put it on.
Lisa gave Jennie one last kiss before they headed to the kitchen. When they got there, the twins were already having little tantrums saying that Jennie took so long to come back.
And that was the first time they had breakfast together as a complete family. Jennie couldn't help but smile. She told them about Paris while Lisa talked about how it was to raise the twins and so much more. They also talked about random stuff, just catching up with each other.
They were in the middle of eating when Jisoo and Seulgi arrived.
Seulgi immediately approached Irene while Jisoo sat down with them and began eating without saying anything.
"What brought you here?" Lisa asked. Jisoo swallowed what she was eating first before saying, "Seulgi just want to see her girlfriend. Why don't you just give that woman to her?"
"Hey, Irene is not an object that should be given away like that," Jennie said because she didn't like the way Jisoo said what she said.
Jisoo on the other hand just continued eating and said, "I was just kidding, why are being so—Jennie?"
Finally, she noticed that there was another person at the table. Because of that, she choked on what she was eating. Jennie on the other hand didn't know whether she'd laugh or feel bad. Why was her reaction like that anyway?
Lisa laughed at her friend before handing some water to the latter.
"I think that must be karma," Lisa said and chuckled.
"Wait, is this really Jennie? Not Heejin? Not imagination?" Jisoo asked while looking at Lisa and Jennie alternately.
"This is my Mama," Luna said while pointing at Jennie.
"Yes, she's our Mama and she is real," Aelia added.
"How? Wow..."
She still couldn't believe it. It's really hard to believe because she'd been gone for a long time and she suddenly just show up. Besides, Lisa didn't even tell them.
"What did I hear? Jennie is back?" They heard Seulgi say from the living room. Then they heard footsteps going towards them.
"What's with them?" Jennie asked while looking at Lisa. "They're just surprised that you're back. Y'know they were with me throughout the years and they kind of waited for your return as well," the Thai replied, trying to suppress her laughter.
Soon after, Seulgi went through the door and immediately let her eyes wander through the people on the table.
"Hi," Jennie said and Seulgi's eyes widen when she finally saw Jennie.
"Good Lord, you're indeed here," the girl exclaimed. Jennie just chuckled. Why are they even acting weird?
"What's wrong with you two?" Jennie said.
"Yah, you've been gone for a long time and Lisa has been there waiting for you for the past years. So, you can't blame us if we react this way. Oh, wait a minute what is that?" Jisoo said in a teasing. Then she pointed out something on Jennie's neck.
Jennie blushed and immediately covered it with her hand.
"Looks like someone got wild during the reconciliation, eh?" Jisoo smirked while looking at Jennie and Lisa alternately.
"Shut it, Chu. There are kids here," Lisa warned.
"Does this mean there will be a baby number three or maybe another set of twins?" This time, it was Seulgi. She joined Jisoo in teasing the two.
Jennie and Lisa just continued eating and didn't mind the dorks.
But then, Luna suddenly spoke, saying, "Mama, are we going to have a baby brother?" And Jennie almost chokes on her food, as well as Lisa. With that, Jisoo and Seulgi ended up laughing.
Jennie drank some water first before saying "No, baby. Uhh—not yet." However, Luna crossed her arms and pouted.
"What's wrong?" Lisa asked the girl. That latter replied, "I want a brother."
"I want a brother, too. I don't want a sister because I already have my sister, Moon," Aelia said, agreeing to her sister. Jennie and Lisa looked at each other and Lisa said, "We can't have another baby yet because Mama is working. She is a model and I don't think she's ready yet. Do we want to force Mama?" Lisa asked gently, so they'd understand.
"No," the girls replied in unison.
"So, is it alright if you don't get a brother yet?" Lisa asked again.
The twins looked at each other as if they were communicating through their eyes. Then they both sighed and Aelia said, "Fine, we will when mama wants to be already."
"Thank you, babies," Jennie said and patted their heads gently.
"You're welcome, Mama," they replied.
Jisoo just focused on her food instead of minding the family because she might end up envying what they have. Meanwhile, Seulgi suddenly felt like she wants to have babies as well.
"Lisa, can Irene move in with me already?" She asked.
"Why are you asking me? Do I look like her dad? You should ask her, not me," Lisa said nonchalantly. It's not like she's gatekeeping Irene. Besides, it's not like she can stop Seulgi from doing what the latter wants.
Remember when she told the woman not to mess around with her maid, did she listen? Of course not. So, even if she says no, now, Seulgi will still do everything to get Irene. If they love each other, then there's nothing wrong with that.
"I'm just asking you as a sign of respect you know," Seulgi said while shrugging her shoulder.
While in the middle of talking, Irene suddenly popped out of nowhere then she said, "Uhm excuse me. Miss Jennie, someone is looking for you outside."
Jennie suddenly remembered that Rosé was coming to give her clothes and also to see the twins.
"It must be Roseanne, let her in," Jennie said. Irene bowed before going back there.
"Rose—what?" Jisoo asked out of the blue because that name sounds familiar.
"Roseanne, my friend. Why?" Jennie asked.
"Uh, I just remembered someone but they might just have the same name. It's not like there's only one Roseanne in the world," she said and chuckled bitterly.
That name brought unwanted memories back. And she didn't like it.
"I'll just see her," Jennie excused herself and went to see her friend. She found the girl sitting on the couch, letting her eyes wander through the surroundings.
Jennie cleared her throat and said, "Hi."
"Omg, hi. Where are your babies? I wanna see them," Rosé said giddily.
"They're in the kitchen, why don't you come with me? I'll introduce you to Lisa as well," Jennie said and held Rosé's wrist, helping the latter to stand.
"I'm so excited to see them. How old are they now?"
"Three, almost four."
So, Jennie led her friends to the kitchen where everybody was. Then she called their attention.
"Everybody, this is Roseanne Park," she said, introducing the tall blonde girl to everyone, gathering their attention to the latter.
What surprised them was when Jisoo choked on the chicken she was eating. When Rosé's eyes landed on her, she then gasped which confused everyone.
"Jisoo, are you okay, bro?" Seulgi asked while suppressing her laughter.
"You? What are you doing here?" Rosé mumbled while she was looking at Jisoo. Jisoo on the other hand pulled herself together and tried to keep her cool. Then she said, "Lisa is my friend, so why can't I be here?"
"What's going on? Do you know each other?" Jennie asked out of confusion.
"Yes."
"No."
The two said in unison which made the rest more confused. Like, what the hell is going on with the two.
"Yes, we know each other Park Chaeyoung," Jisoo said and sighed before she continued eating fried chicken.
"Please, don't call me that."
"You're Park Chaeyoung? So, it means you two are—" Seulgi said as she look at Jisoo, then at Rosé.
"Past lovers," Lisa said and smirked. Jennie's eyes widen and she mumbled, "What a coincidence."
