Katherine's phone rang, she wanted to be petty and not answer Spencer's call but it was hard for her to ignore her best friend.
"What's up?" Katherine said, answering the call.
"Hey, we were all just questioned by the police. The trophy was fake and the blood belonged to a rat." Spencer said.
"A set you guys up." Katherine said.
"Yeah. I'm sorry that we acted like that yesterday. Will you come over?" Spencer said.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a sec." Katherine said, hanging up and grabbing her jacket.
Katherine walked into the house and was met with Veronica, Peter, and Spencer sitting down, Spencer trying to hide her tears, and Melissa and Ian standing near the couch.
"I can come back another time." Katherine said.
"No, honey, sit down. You're fine." Veronica said, patting the seat next to her.
Katherine sat down and looked at all the people, trying to figure out what exactly was going on.
"I hope you get the help you need." Melissa said to Spencer.
"Spencer, I want you to know I'm not angry with you. I'm confused, but I'm not mad." Ian said.
"What I don't understand is why you came back to Rosewood. You got away with it." Spencer said.
"You're sick." Melissa said.
"Melissa." Peter said.
"That's how I deal with this, dad. I have to believe you're ill." Melissa said.
"If you had just stayed away, no one ever would have known." Spencer said.
"Now, that's enough." Veronica said.
Katherine didn't know what to say, so she just stayed quiet in her seat, biting the inside of her cheek. She knew she had to tell Spencer who really pushed that girl down those stairs. She knew that if she admitted it was her, then Spencer would ease off of Ian.
"What? The trophy wasn't real but that doesn't mean that he didn't do it." Spencer said.
"Oh my god, do you hear yourself?" Melissa said.
"I'm just making things worse by being here. Spencer, I meant what I said." Ian said, before walking out of the house.
"Why can't you just let me be happy?" Melissa said.
"This isn't about you." Spencer said.
"You're right. Like always, it's about you. I don't know how you can stay friends with her, Kat." Melissa said, storming off to where Ian went.
"Look, I, I know what this must look like and-" Spencer started.
"No. Honey, I don't think you do." Veronica said.
"Spence, that thing that you think was Ian that night we were with Ali, that wasn't him." Katherine said.
"I know you think it was CeCe, but we were actually thinking it was Alison. She was obsessed with Ian." Spencer said.
"It wasn't CeCe, Ian, or Alison." Katherine said.
"How in the world would you even know that?" Spencer asked.
"Because it was me." Katherine said. "What happened that night had nothing to do with Ian. He knew but that was all."
"Wait, I'm sorry, what did you do?" Veronica asked.
"It's not important." Katherine said.
"You started that rumor, didn't you?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah. I said it was CeCe and Alison and Ian backed me up." Katherine said.
"What did you do, Katherine?" Peter asked.
"I shoved a girl down a set of stairs." Katherine said.
"Does anyone besides Ian and Alison know?" Veronica asked.
"CeCe. But Ali helped me make a show of yelling at CeCe for doing it." Katherine said.
"I'm gonna make coffee." Peter said.
"What you just told us does not leave this room, Kat." Veronica said.
"Okay." Katherine said.

Katherine walked into the Grille and sat in the booth that Noel was in.
"I was starting to think you were gonna bail." Noel said.
"I know, I'm sorry. My mom was being a total psycho today." Katherine said.
"I heard about what happened with Jimmy and Fitz." Noel said.
"Yeah, Mr. Fitz helped me. You've met Jimmy, he doesn't give up. If he hadn't stepped in, it could've gotten bad." Katherine said.
"Then I guess I have one thing to like the guy for. But I still hate him." Noel said.
"I wouldn't expect anything else." Katherine said. "Garrett? What's up?" She said, when the cop started walking towards them.
"Are your friends lying about just finding that trophy?" Garrett asked.
"They aren't lying. They would never make something up like that." Katherine said.
"That's what I thought. It's just, my boss thinks that they're lying. He's positive that they are." Garrett said.
"I think someone set it up for them to find, some kind of cruel joke." Katherine said.
"Why would someone do that?" Noel asked.
"Ali was loved, but she was also hated. It would make sense that someone wanted us to find that and freak out." Katherine said.
"You saw it too?" Garrett asked, taking a seat at the booth.
"Yeah. But, I told them I didn't wanna be involved in whatever they were going to do because Ian's my friend." Katherine said.
"Dinner's on me tonight. We need to get our stories straight when it comes to Alison, all three of us. Eric, Ian, and Melissa should too. We were all a part of that night." Garrett said.
"After dinner we can try to get everyone at my place, my mom's going to Jack's." Katherine said.

The group of six all sat in Katherine's living room.
"Look, almost all of us have alibi's but we don't exactly wanna admit where we were and who we were with." Ian said.
"I am the only person in this room who would have a good alibi." Katherine said.
"She's right. I was with CeCe but who's going to believe that. The bitch fell off the planet." Eric said.
"CeCe needs one too. If someone were to say something about the girl who was always with Ali that suddenly disappeared, a lot more questions would be brought up." Katherine said.
"You're protecting yourself. You don't give a damn what happens to CeCe, with Alison gone you're worried she'll narc on you." Ian said.
"Sue me." Katherine said.
"I can try to track her down. Being a cop has some perks." Garrett said.
"Good, use those perks to keep me out of that night." Noel said.
"Use daddy's money instead." Garrett said.
"Noel, you're fine. We really need to focus on Melissa, Ian, and Garrett. You three were all in Ali's room that night." Katherine said.
"So were you." Ian said.
"Why don't we say that we were all with each other? Everyone knows that we're all friends." Melissa said.
"Then what were we doing that night? Playing poker?" Katherine asked.
"Yes. Katherine, you got the big win. Ten thousand total. But, we all made a little money too. We started when Kat ditched the sleepover and it went on until sunrise." Ian said.
"Where did we play?" Eric asked.
"Our cabin." Noel said.
"Everyone better stick with this story." Katherine said.
"I need a beer." Eric said.
"In the fridge, get me one too." Katherine said.
"Just get everyone one." Garrett said.
"Alright. Help me carry them, Noel." Eric said, standing up.

"I try not to look back. But, if there's anything that I could go back and change, it would be that night." Aria said, leaning on Ezra's shoulder with tears running down her face.
"Hey." Ezra said, messing with Aria's hair. "I love you and nothing you just said to me changes that."
"Thank you for looking at me tonight the same way you did yesterday." Aria said.
Ezra responded with a kiss on her forehead and Aria was about to snuggle back into him when her phone started ringing.
"It's Katherine." Ezra said, handing Aria's phone to her.
"What's up, Kat?" Aria asked, answering the call.
"I need to tell you something but I need you to promise you won't get mad or think of me in a different way." Katherine said.
"What's going on?" Aria asked, sitting up.
"I was the one who pushed that girl down the stairs at that frat party. I did it so I could blame it on CeCe, make people hate her." Katherine admitted.
"Oh my god." Aria said, completely in shock.
...
"What's going on?" Katherine asked, walking over to Emily, Aria, and Hanna.
"We're not sure. We're waiting on Spencer." Emily said.
Suddenly, all of their phones started beeping and Katherine rolled her eyes as they all got their phones out.
"Breaking news, bitches." Aria started.
"Spencer Hastings is now a person of interest." Katherine continued.
"In my death." Hanna said.
"A." Emily finished.
