You were like that plant outside my window
blossoming among the mossy concrete, that was your will to grow
Maybe I was selfish, but I couldn't let go
knowing, you were the doom I was preparing for.
You grew so high
You blocked my sunlight.
But it didn't mattered because you were mine.
You took from me all you could.
Your roots held on to me.
But you couldn't.
Till the twilight, of my life
You were my finest delight.

More than a plant,
