I arrive at his office with thoughts ands question about him. But I mean its not like we're together or anything so I don't see why I care so much that I don't know.
"Y/N." It's a weird feeling but whatever.
"Y/N?" I hear Mephisto call my name.
"Oh sorry, I zoned out for a minute." I say.
"Hm, ok then." He answers. I flop down on the couch to calm down as Mephisto sits across from me.
"So what did you want to tell me?" I reminded him.
"Ah yes, um. I'll be as straight forwards as possible," He starts, "Well, to start off, my name isn't actually Mephisto or Johann." What? So I've been calling him some random ass man's name for the entire time I've known him?
"So what is your real name?" He looks up to meet my eyes.
"Samael." Huh, that's an interesting name. Why would he hide it though?
"I'm not human as well." He adds. My brain is literally fried, how could he not be human?
"I am Samael, Demon king of Time and Space." I almost choke on my own saliva. What the fuck.
He laughs in repose to my actions. Why is he laughing?
"So...I've been living with a demon the entire time?" My brain was still trying to process this. Wait, how does that Vatican allow that?
"Yes," He leans closer slightly, "Is that a problem?" My cheeks turn pink.
"I-uh-no." I respond. I look down in embarrassment. He laughs again.
"Alright then, I suppose this conflict is resolved." With that, he stands up to leave.
"Wait," He turns around, "So..." Why did think this was a good idea? "If you are a demon, um, how old are you exactly?" I ask.
He hesitates for a moment, "Much older than you, dear." He then walks away. That was embarrassing. He made it seem like it a bit of a longer explanation than that earlier.
