I hung up the phone and walked out my room. I knocked on smokes bedroom door and he told me to come in.

"Can I go out of town with my friend?" I asked

It's Sunday and the day that everybody will officially meet Sid. I really hope this goes right be they all ain't got no filter.

"What's wrong?" She asked me
"My friend wanna hang out with me but we can't"

"Because Sid didn't want me talking to him in the first place"

I grabbed my phone and asked Dre if he still wanted to hang out. He replied back instantly with a yea. I sent him Bre address and he said he wan on his way.
"Sooo what y'all bouta go do anyway?" She asked
"Ion even know yet. I'm hungry so prolly get something to eat" I said shrugging
"Get some expensive shit like 5 guys and make him pay"

A couple minutes went passed and he said he was outside. I told her I'll be back and got my stuff and walked out. I got in his car and gave him a hug.
"Hey"
"Girl I thought you was playing. Why you change yo mind?" He asked
"Idk I was trippin" I said
"Jhi like. You tryna go get something to eat?" He asked and I nodded
"You like five guys?" I asked and he nodded

"Getting something to eat"

"Ight mama I'll talk to you later. I'm bouta cut somebody hair" he said
He got another job at a barbershop cutting hair. He's really good too.
"Ard I'll see you later" I said and hung up

His phone started buzzing so he picked it up. A couple seconds later his facial expression changed to confused.
"What?" I said furrowing my eyebrows
"Aye slim. What the fuck" he said handing me his phone
I took it and look at the text thread. It was a picture of Dre and I that was taken like seconds ago. It looked like it was taken a couple feet away too.
"What the hell" I mumbled reading the message
202-637-5367- yall got 2 minutes to get the fuck outta here before I blow yo fuckin car up
"Aye s-start this car" I said a little scared
He instantly pulled off and took me back to Bre house.
"Are you like in some shit? You got opps?" I asked
"Hell nah this shit just caught me off guard. I ain't even a street nigga" he said
"Mhmm well bye" I said quickly getting out
He not about to get me killed. I Walked up and opener the door since it was unlocked. I got my keys from AJ and told them bye. I got in my car then called Sid.
"You late mama" he said
"I know I'm on my way now. Where you at?" I asked him
" a couple minutes away" he said making me smack my teeth
"You not even there yet"
"Ima be there before yo ass"
"Bye. I'll see you in a minute" I said and hung up
About 10 minutes later I pulled my car in the driveway and got out. I walked up to Sid car and he got out.
"Lemme go be fake for a couple fuckin hours" he said and I hit his arm
"Be serious. How you act tonight determines if my family like you or not" he said
"Manee ion need they approval. I already got you mama" he said looking down at me with a smirk
"Boy let's go" I said grabbing his hand
We walked up and I unlocked the door with my key. I walked in and seen Zy, True, Mali, Tink, Woosie, spook, smoke.... And Louis.
Why is he even here?
"Hey y'all" I said
"Y'all late. I said be here at 6:30 and it 6:32" Smoke said shaking his head
He looking for any reason to not like him.
"2 minutes Demario?" Tink said smacking her teeth

We all went to the table and I sat between True and Sid. Zy sat on the other side of Sid, Smoke and spook sat straight across from us.
"Who cooked" I asked

"We. I ain't hungry no more" Woo said shaking his head
"Bitch I'll snap your neck" Tink said bucking at him
"Smoke get your slow ass boyfriend. Mustache thicker than mine" Woo said
We all tried not to laugh. Smoke grabbed her because she was about to get up.

"Why I thought you was a stripper?" Zy said making us laugh
"Louis get ya son" she said
"Saige where's your necklace?" Spook asked her
This nigga weird as hell. He been staring at me and Saige the whole time.
"Oh I took it of— didn't I tell you not to that it off?" He cut her off
"Yea but— but shit. Go put it back on, now!" He said raising his voice
Saige got up and basically ran to her room. I sat there while all the focus was not on me
"Anymore questions?" I asked taking a deep breath
"Nah just some rules. You seem to be a okay guy so I hope I can trust Saige with you?" Smoke said
"Of course" I said
"Also keep y'all hands to yall self and pants on" he said

"And if you think Im here to play around with you. GOT DAMMIT I'M NOT!" Woosie yelled
Saige came back downstairs and the necklace was back on.

We walked to the living room where everybody was and they all stood up.
"It was nice to officially meet you Sid." Smoke said shaking my hand

"I like you young nigga. You scary looking so I ain't gon say too much but don't fuck with my niece heart" Woosie said

"I don't like you" Spook said
"Okay..." I said not really giving a fuck
"I like you." Louis said
"I don't" I said returning the same smile
Fuck he think this is. If my girl don't like you then nigga I don't either.
"He reminds me of me" Louis said chuckling
"That's the problem..." Spook said as he twisted something around in his hand
