"Fucking bastards," Belle gritted out as she tried to pick the lock of the handcuffs.
Her left wrist and my right wrist were handcuffed together because those bastards didn't have ropes or any other things to tie us.
Earlier when we were warming ourself sitting by the fire, Antonio's men came and surrounded us. I was super confused on how they found us before my men did, but my confusion was cleared when Edwin, that fucker came smirking towards us before dragging us to their warehouse and here we are now.
"Urgh," she groaned as she threw away the broken pin in frustration.
"If you didn't trust that fucker, this wouldn't have happen," she hissed at me while I was trying to find a way to get us out of here.
I raised my eyebrows at her. "Do I look like a magician?" I asked her and she glared at me. "How would I know that he was with them all these time,"
"For God sake Nick!" she yelled at. "I can't believe you just took him in without going through his background."
"I did check, but didn't find anything because they removed all his data. They send him with new identity and plus he saved my father," I yelled at her while she just kept quite and looked away with teary eyes.
"Trust me, I'll get us out of here,"
"Doesn't look like that," she shot back.
"Don't you trust me?" I asked with a frown.
She looked straight into my eyes with anger. "Trust is earned Nick. We can't just simply go around trusting people. Earlier I said I trusted you because I did trusted you with my life. It's not like I really trust you with everything,"
I was hurt but she was right. We can't just simply trust people.
My thoughts were interrupt when someone clicked his tounge.
"Tsk tsk tsk. Look what we got here," Antonio smirked at me and I clenched my jaw.
"Nikolai Ivanov," he laughed evily. "The King of Hell, Hades himself and his beautiful wife Persephone,"
I pulled Belle closer to me, intertwining our fingers making him laugh more.
"Does he have a lose screw?" Belle asked as she look up at me with big eyes.
"I'm taking to you here and you both dared to ignore me!" He yelled making Belle jump a little because of his sudden yelling and I shot him glare.
"Careful Antonio. I don't like it when someone disrespect my wife," I said and he smirked at me.
He took out his gun from his waistband and pointed towards Belle. I quickly stood infront of her daring him to shot.
"If you dont like when some disrespect your wife infront of you, imagine how will you feel when I shot her infront of you Ivanov. I'm so going to enjoy it," he said and he motioned two of this mens towards me.
Belle's grip tighten on my arm while I pressed her hard against my chest.
They tried to touch me but I growled at them. "Touch me and I'll make sure all your family pays for that,"
They coward back and kept glancing at a pissed Antonio who was glaring at them.
"You fucking useless creatures," he yelled at them before shoting them and they dropped death on the cold floor.
He threw me the keys of the handcuffs and I quickly unlocked it. Stupid was the best word to describe him.
"I want you on the cornor of the room while I slowly slit your wife's throat," he said.
"I have a dagger strapped on my right thigh," Belle whispered into my ear and I looked at her with a pissed face.
"Can't you tell me that before," I hissed at her.
"Do you want it or not?" She asked again in a stren voice and I nodded obviously.
"Are you planning to run out of here?" Antonio asked. "Well if you are then let me tell you. You can't. There are atleast fifteen guards in every cornor of this place. It's next to mission impossible,"
"Ok Mr. Kidnapper I get it. But why did you kidnap me?" Belle asked and I stare at her like she had grown two heads.
Belle pinched me and then it hit me. She was trying to distract him.
"Are you really that stupid?" Antonio asked. And I almost replied with 'the only person who is stupid in this room is you'
"You're his wife. The wife of the fucking russian Don," he stated as he went on and on about God knows what while Belle kept on distracting him.
I lifted her sun dress a bit and put my hand underneath before crawling up her smooth long legs and I felt her breath got hitched. I slowly took out the dagger from the strap before quickly throwing it at him.
The gun fell from his hand and I immediately pounced on him while Belle ran for the gun.
He groaned in pain as I punched him, by now his men started to enter the room after hearing his groan.
Belle aimed the gun at Antonio's head. "Put down your weapons or he die,"
His men looked at one another. Belle slowly came towards me and handed me the gun before clinging on my arm while I pointed the gun on the fuckers head.
"Put your fucking guns down you morons!" He yelled at his men as I pressed harder. All of them dropped their guns before Belle quickly went to grab one from the ground but fuck me. Before she could, Edwin grabbed her and pulled her towards him and pressed his gun on her forehead and I froze.
"Put your gun away Nikolai or you know," he smirked at me before getting her into a choke hold. Tears ran down her eyes as she struggled to breathe and I cursed myself.
I groaned before letting go of that bastards and his men immediately came and started hitting me but I didn't budge.
"Leave her Edwin," I said coldly while looking at his annoying smirk. She was still struggling to breathe and it killed me from inside knowing that she is struggling because of me.
"No," he replied while running his nose down her neck and something immediately snapped inside me. I jerked up and growled at him just to be pressed back.
"Don't you dare fucking touch her," I growled at him.
"Tsk tsk Nikolai, you're in no state to threaten me so just behave well and do whatever I say," Antonio said before punching me.
I looked at Belle helplessly as she struggled to breathe and I gave up. "Edwin leave her. . . . Please," I pleaded making their eyes widened before smirking.
"See I told you," Edwin said to Antonio. "This fucker can do anything for his wife,"
Antonio nodded before turing towards me. "It's amusing to see him begging. But not for himself but for his wife. I never thought i'll see this day,"
Who could have thought, I could beg for someone's life someday. But it doesn't matter, she is all I need.
"Please Edwin. Please leave her," I pleaded again as her eyes rolled back, her eyes red with tears continuously rolling down and nearly on the verge of losing conscious.
He left her and she started couching before gasping for air. I tired to move towards her but Antonio's men held me back tighter.
Belle crawled towards me and cupped my face in her palm as she examined my face that was now filled with bruises.
"Look at this," Antonio said as he circled us. "The story of Hades and Persephone will end today, here in this warehouse. Do you want me to convey anything to your father Zeus?"
"Zeus is Hades' brother not father you idiot," Belle said and I burst out laughing with half of his men.
"Quite!" He yelled making everyone shut up except me who was still laughing at his stupidity.
"Laugh as much as you want Ivanov cause this is your last laugh," he said and I burst into another fit of laughter.
"You forgot something Antonio," I smirked at him and he raised his eyebrow at me. "I'm the Devil. You can't kill me,"
As soon as I said that, more people came into the room and all eyes snapped towards them.
"Adios bitches," Gino yelled as he fired at them randomly and hell broke lose.
