[Sofia's POV]
I felt someone rubbing my back, I slowly opened my eyes and saw that I was in Maya and Carinas bed.
I cuddled myself further on to Carina as she was warm and comfortable.
"Good morning Bambina" she said.
"Morning" I said quietly.
"I have to get up now Bella, do you want to sleep a little bit more or do you want to have breakfast with me?" She asked.
"I'll go with you" I said tiredly as I could hardly keep my eyes open.
Carina took a hold of my hand as we walked to the kitchen. I rested my head on the table as I was so tired.
She made sandwiches and coffee for herself while I drank some water.
"Here, take these" she said and handed me the new medication I was supposed to take.
I looked skeptically at her and she just gave me a warming smile.
I swallowed the pill with some water then started eating my sandwich.
"Can I take a look at you hand after you've finished your sandwich? I just want to see if it needs stitches" she said.
I nodded.
After I finished the sandwich I carefully took of the bandage that was wrapped around my hand.
Wincing in pain as the cold hair hit the wound.
"I don't think it needs stitches but I would like to keep an eye on it so it doesn't get infected"
"And please Sofia don't do this again, come to me instead" she said.
"Mmhm" I said.
"I-I'm really sorry I yelled at you yesterday" I said.
"It's okay, I get it" she said.
"But i was rude" I said.
"It's okay Sofia, I promise" she said.
"Come on we have some time left before I have to leave, let's go cuddle in bed so you can fall asleep again" she said.
I smiled a little and followed her to their bed, Maya was still asleep so we had to be really quiet.
I laid my head on Carina while she once again stroked my hair. I fell asleep quickly.
[Maya's POV]
I woke up and Carina had already left, I looked at the other side of the bed to see Sofia snuggled up against Carina's pillow.
She looked content, calm.
"We need to get up sunshine" I said and stroked her arm.
"Tired" she mumbled out.
"I can tell" I chuckled.
"I'll make you some coffee" I said.
I put on my work clothes while Sofia put on a pair of jeans and a T-shirt.
"Here you go" I said and handed her the coffee.
"Thank you" she said and smiled.
"Did you take your meds?" I asked.
"Yes Uhm I did that with Carina before" She said.
"Okay good" I said.
"Andy is bringing Luna to the station today so if we get a call you might need to stay with her, but only if it's okay with you of course" I said.
"I wouldn't have a problem with that" I said.
"Okay great, let's get going" I said.
I drove us towards the station.
I put my stuff in my office and so did Sofia, we then walked out to the lounge area.
[Sofia's POV]
"Hi Mija, how are you doing?" She asked.
"I'm good, how are you?" I asked politely.
"I'm great, and this little missy right here is finally better" she said.
"That's good" I said and smiled.
The smaller brunette girl walked over to me.
"Hola" she said and gave me a small wave.
"Hi" I said happily and waved back.
"Oh what happened to you hand sweetie?" Andy asked.
"I fell over, it doesn't hurt tho" I lied.
"Alright" she said.
The alarm went off and they all had to leave.
"Can you stay with Sofia here?" Andy asked the smaller girl.
"Sí mama" she said.
I nodded towards Andy.
"Can we play with my lego?" She asked.
"Of course, lead the way" I said.
We walked over to the couch, she put her lego up on the table.
"So what are we building?" I asked.
"A castle, Elsa's castle" she said excitedly.
"Alright let's do it" I said.
After we had finished building the castle we just sat on the couch.
"Sofia?" She asked.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Could I get something to eat, please?" She asked gently.
"Of course, what do you want?" I asked.
"Mama has my snacks in the kitchen, it has my name on it" she said.
I nodded and started looking for the snacks.
I quickly found a small package of goldfish crackers, along with smaller juice packs.
"What flavor do you want on your juice?" I asked.
"Apple please" she said.
I grabbed the snacks and we walked over to the couch again.
I had also started to feel hungry but I didn't know if I was allowed to eat here.
"Is Carina your mama?" She asked out of nowhere.
"No, she's my sister" I said.
"She's nice, she plays with me too just like you did" she said happily.
"It was fun playing with you" I said.
"You can come play here more, I have princess movies and-and I have lots of toys. Mama bought me fire trucks and they're really cool" she got really excited.
"I would love to play more with you" I said as I tried to not die of cuteness from her.
"Can I show you my toys?" She asked.
"Sure, but eat up first so you don't choke" I said.
She listened to me and finished her crackers.
She pulled out two different fire trucks.
"Here's mama" she said and pointed to a smaller firefighter.
"Wow" I said.
"She's my hero" she said.
"I bet she is, do you want to be like her when you grow up?" I asked.
"Yes, mama always tells me stories about her work when I'm going to sleep" she said.
"That must be really nice" I said.
"Yes and daddy says he thinks Im already as good as he is" she said with a proud smile.
"I bet you are" I said.
"Do you want to be like your mama too?" She asked.
I thought for a moment, figuring out what to say.
"My mama went to heaven when I was younger, but yeah I would like to be like she was" I said and smiled.
"Was she your hero too?" She asked.
"Yes she really was" I said.
"Your mama is still your hero then, from heaven" she said and smiled.
"She is" I said.
Andy and the rest of the team came back.
"Thank you so so so much for watching her, your an Angel" Andy said.
"Oh it was no trouble, she's adorable" I said.
"Did you give her a snack?" She asked.
"Mmhm, her crackers and a juice" I said.
"Good, did you eat something too?" She asked.
"No I didn't know if I was allowed" I said.
"The whole fridge is filled with food, plus your Carina's sister which makes you a part of our family here" she said.
"Thanks, I'll be happy to watch her another time" I said.
"Okay, I'll let you know" she said.
"Come on kiddo let's go home and watch movies" Maya said.
"Bye everyone" I said.
"Bye sweetie" Vic and Andy said.
We drove back to the apartment.
"I'm just going to take a shower quickly, you can change in to a pajama if you want to" Maya said.
"Alright, I will" I said.
I changed in to my comfy Batman pajama.
"Here" Maya said and handed me my favorite drink.
"Thanks" I said.
"Do you like chocolate?" She asked.
"Yeah" I said.
"Okay good" she said and pulled out two Chocolate bars.
We sat down on the couch, I chose Deadpool one as a movie to watch.
"Can I ask you a question?" I said.
"Of course" she said.
"Do you and Carina want kids?" I asked.
"We haven't really talked about that, I would be open to it but there's a process since we're two woman" she said.
"You would make great parents, Carina used to talk about wanting a bambina" I said.
"Really?" Maya asked happily.
"Yeah she even had names planned out" I said spilling all the beans.
"What names?" She asked.
"She had two boy names, Leon and Luca"
"Girl names were, Stella Giana and Angela" I said.
"It's good names, I only had two boy names I've always thought would be a good fit" she said.
"Tell me" I said excitedly.
"I've always liked Elliott and Luke" she said.
"Those are pretty" I said.
"Yeah, but don't tell Carina about those names because she will only find something wrong about them" she said and laughed.
"I won't" I said and giggled.
She held her arms out, I cuddled on to her.
