Author's POV
" Arjun, where are you ? I swear I'll kill if it's your stupid prank..... "
" Arjun...... Arjun........." Priya's voice echoed in the dark place. Priya turned her head from left to right to find Arjun who was nowhere to be seen. From the moment she opened her eyes , all that she could see was darkness.
" I'm here.....priya " a voice came from the darkness.
The darkness reminds her about her painful past, where she suffered for him with his memories. When she met Arjun after almost seven years, it was like Arjun came into her life again like a light in darkness. She was thankful for the second chance that God gave her, but again.... destiny had some other plans.
Priya huffed in anonymity and followed the voice. Her eyes were eager to find her Arjun who was not ready to come in front of her.
It was quite tough to walk in that darkness, yet Priya managed to reach the spot from where she heard his voice.
Each passing seconds felt like ages for her without Arjun beside her. She couldn't understand why destiny is testing her potential by giving problems one after one.
" Baby...... catch me if you can. '' Priya flinched when she heard his voice behind her. She felt his breath near her neck, taking long breaths to calm herself, priya slowly turned her head to her sideway. Just then the spot lights turned on revealing Arjun.
A sudden rush of relief hit her when her eyes found her Arjun all fine and well standing few steps away from her with a big smile on his face.
" Arjun " priya sighed with a constant smile. Wipro her sweaty forehead Priya ran to Arjun as if he would disappear in the next moment.
As soon as she went to him, Priya hugged him with all her force. Arjun stumbled due to her strength full hug but soon he too hugged her with a silly smile.
Parting away to hug priya asked " Where were you ?.....i was so scared... I thought....i..." Before priya could complete what she wanted to say, arjun put his index finger on her lips to stop her from talking.
" Shhh.... I'm here with you , don't cry baby " priya shakes her head to let the tears fall through her cheeks, with that she again hugged him. even the thought of losing him made her feel so weak and pathetic.
She already suffered a lot without him , those days when she badly wanted to feel his presence near her, when she wanted to share everything single thing with him, when she wanted to cry on his shoulder, when she wanted to hug him just to make sure that everything will be fine soon, but he wasn't there. Those days were horrible for her when she had to put on a smile for the society when she herself was broken from inside. But after many years when she finally found him, how can she take him lightly ? She can't afford a life without him now. It's not like he is her oxigen, so without it she can't live, No it's not. but he is her reason to live. He is her reason to smile genuinely and wholeheartedly.
" Priya looked at me.... Arjun said while holding her shoulder and parted away from the hug.
" Priya always remembers one thing, I too Love you..like you do....... never thought that you lost me.... because I'm always with you..." Saying this Arjun pointed on her heart " I'm always here inside your heart "
Priya smiled at him, nodding her head. For a moment she was lost in his eyes. Both knew what was going to happen next, so Priya took the lead and put her face near his, so that he could kiss her.
But just then, Arjun disappeared at thunder speed. Priya blinked her eyes to confirm that whatever happened a second ago was true. As soon as Arjun disappeared the spotlight also went with him. Darkness surrounded her.
He wasn't there anymore, she missed his presence around her. Again.
" Arjun.... please don't play with me....come out " priya shouted against the darkness.
And the reply was silence.
She understood what the silence meant. Sometimes silence is also an answer for our questions.
Falling on her knees with a thud sound, priya yelled " arjun nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn "

" Priya.....priya......"
" Priyaaaaa...." Priya opened her eyes when she felt someone's hand on her shoulder.
" Priya woke up.... " It was her mom, nadhiya.
Priya blinked her eyes numerous times to get a clear view, now she can see her mom's worried face.
" You were shouting while sleeping, was that a bad dream ? Are you ok now ? Should I call the doctors ? " Nadhiya threw bundles of questions infront her, while priya looked around and found herself on a hospital bed, in a hospital gown.
She was confused a bit, what am I doing here ? And who broughton me here ? Priya's mind was occupied with questions and confusion. Suddenly she remembered about the phone call she got a few hours ago, About Arjun's accident.
Tears found their way from her eyes to cheeks, " Maa.... Arjun....he...." With that priya hugged her mom and started to cry.
Nadhiya didn't know what happened to her daughter, but at that moment consoling priya was important, nadhiya too hugged priya and tried to console her.
" Priya..... what happened dear.... please stop crying and tell me, you are scaring me " nadhiya said while running her hands on the back of priya to smooth her.
" Maa....he.... Arjun....he....i....lo...lost him.....aga...again... Arjun.....i..ahhh " priya sobbed hard while saying this. She couldn't continue whatever she was going to say. Holding her mom as if she was her last hope, Priya cried out of her eyes.
This made nadhiya frown, she pulled out from the hug annoyingly and glared at priya who was looking at her already.
" Priya, I don't know how I'm going to make you understand. First thing, learn to be strong even in your difficult situations, don't be weak..... you aren't a teenage girl anymore who will trust whatever, whoever says. You are a well grown up WOMAN now, second thing never get in any conclusions before knowing the whole truth....... I'm sure you remember what caused you when last time you concluded before knowing the truth, it's caused almost eight years of your lifetime.... learn to cross-check things which can cause serious issues......and third thing, stop crying like a baby when you yourself is going to be a.......ahhhh.....what I'm going to do with you priya ? '' By the time Nadhiya finished her long lecture, Priya was looking at her with wide eyes. It's been a long time since Priya saw her mom like this. Priya couldn't understand why her mom was yelling at her instead of supporting her.
" Knock.....knock.....can i come in ? " Both priya and nadhiya's head snapped towards the source of the voice they heard.
There stood Arjun with white roses on his hand and a charming smile on his lips.
Priya's eyes sparkled in happiness and joy seeing him, she ran a quick scan on Arjun from head to toe. He was perfectly fine, just like how she wanted him to be.
But wait....... Then what about the phone call above his accident ? Priya questioned herself.
" Yeah, who will stop you from meeting your wife...... I'll be back, let me inform the doctors " satin this nadhiya excused herself and wanted to give some privacy to the couples.
Slowly with a silly smile Arjun walked to priya and stood in front of her " how are you feeling now ? '' Asked Arjun while adjusting her hair, Nehi her ear.
" Hmm.... I'm fine , but you......" He didn't let her complete it by placing his finger on her mouth.
" I know you have a lot of questions running inside your mind, so let me clear all that............about before that , take these roses..." Arjun gave her the white roses which are priya's favourite ones. Priya took the rides from him as she was curious to know his next moves.
Bending down till her level he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead and murmured " happy birthday my love.........i know you didn't Remembered your that today is your birthday, mom once told me, you refused to celebrate your birthday since it was the same day when you got to know about Adi...i mean my accident, and you thought i died. It's been eight years since you celebrated your birthday, but this time I'm with you....so i planned a surprise for you, yeah........ i faked my accident so that i can bring you at the dicided place and surprise you with my gifts and proposals at beach, as you dreamt in you school days... afcource i read your fairytale wishes in your dairy, so i thought you will be happy by getting your kinda day with me......but you lost your conscious the moment you heard about my accident, and i had to brought you hospital, i was really tensed and cursed a myself for being stupid.....but guess what you gave me the bi..........*thaap* " Before Arjun could say anything further, he felt a sharp pain on his right cheek along with a thud sound.
You all are right, Priya slapped him hard on his cheek.
The slap was so hard that Arjun's cheek was burning in pain, just like how priya was burning in anger.
Till the moment she heard about his accident, she was going through hell......and now when she knew it was all just a plan, she couldn't control her anger.
" Priya i...*thaap*......." She didn't let him Complete, again a slap Landed on his left cheek.
" Priya, listen to me, I'm so....*thaap*....ouch women stop, it's paining like hell....agha..." Arjun grunted in pain while rubbing both his cheeks with his hands.
Indeed it was painful.
" Priya please " Arjun pleaded with her to stop slapping him....priya stopped slapping him and held his coler tightly with her firm hands.
" Am I kidding you ? Are my feelings and emotions a joke to you ? Before executing your stupid surprise plan have you evan thought about me for once ? What will I go through ? That means my pains and suffering are nothing for you... Right ? You used my emotions arjun......i can't take this......how can you ? I thought you understands me, but today whatever you did was so cheap and stupid. I never expected this kind of stupidity from you. Arjun, do you even know how it feels to realise your loved ones left you alone to suffer in this world ? You know how I felt when I realised I lost you....again..... You disappointed me arjun.....you disappointed me. rather than playing with my emotions.....you should have killed me........i " arjun didn't let her complete, instead he placed his palm over her mouth and spoke " please.... don't say that.....i can't imagine losing you " priya jerked his hands away.
" See....you can't even hear about my death,..you can't even imagine losing me....while I have experienced it twice arjun, just think about my situation and mindset....." Priya said and wiped her tears I'm anger. She didn't want to cry, but what can she do when the whole damn thing is too hard to take it lightly. With huff sue sat on bed being exhausted from all the emotional outcomes. She was already feeling weak and dizzy and now this emotional trauma joined the list.
Arjun realised his mistake, for him it was a surprise for her, but for her it was a life threat. Knowingly or unknowingly he had been hurting her with one after another deeds.
Finally realising what to do next Arjun sat beside her with nervousness. Slowly he placed his right hand on her shoulder. He was expecting another slap from her, but to his surprise as soon as he placed his hand on her shoulder Priya turned towards him and hugged him like there's no tomorrow.
A very confused yet happy Arjun too hugged her back. She can't even be angry with him for so long, after all he is her Stealer, who stole her heart with his stupidity.
Whatever arjun did was hundred percent hurtful for priya, but just then she realised he did it for her, to make her happy, to celebrate her birthday. Although things went wrong, at least he tried something for her. This thoughts bring softness for him in her heart. Eventually her anger faded away.
After few minutes both parted ways from each other, " I'm really sorry....." Arjun said in apologetic tone while cherishing her cheek.
" Hmm....you should be " saying this priya touched his cheek , arjun hissed in pain.
" Is it painful ? ''Priya asked about feelings so guilty to hurt him like this.
" Hmm....but it's ok i deserve it " arjun chuckled.
" No...you don't deserve this, ok.....if there's something you should be deserving of, then it's only this....." Saying this priya kissed him on both his cheeks one by one taking him in a poor state of surprise.
" If i know, this is how you react, then I'm ready to get a hundred slaps from you " arjun said while winking at priya playfully.
Priya glared at him, and pushed him away.
" Go away..... I still haven't forgave you " priya spoke with fake anger.
" Well, in that case I know how to get my forgiveness, " Arjun said and smirked at her.
Within seconds, priya was lifted by Arjun and placed on his lap. For a moment priya flinched due to his sudden act, but soon she got relaxed in his hold.
" Arjun, what are you doing ? This is a hospital....not our bedroom...." Priya tried to reason, but Arjun seemed less bothered about it.
In that particular moment, he just wanted to adore her so he did.
" Priya " Arjun called her in his firm voice, his eyes locked with hers.
" I think I'm the first husband who is going to say this to his wife " This statement made priya narrow her eyes at him. She didn't know what he was talking about.
" You are going to ba a mother priya.....we are pregnant........yes you are four weeks pregnant" and with that he kissed priya on her forehead with so much of love.
When he broughton her to the hospital, he was a little tense and cursed himself for her condition, but all his worries and tensions flew away when doctors told him that priya is 2 weeks pregnant. He immediately called his mother-in-law and told everything, nadhiya being happy as hell, come over here to see her daughter who's going to be a mother soon.
Arjun requested his mother-in-law not to reveal to Priya about her own pregnancy, because he wanted himself to reveal this. Nadhiya too agreed for it and blessed them for the new journey of their life.
Priya was tongue tied out of happiness, now this is the real surprise. Her eyes were stuck on his.
" It should be me, who has to give you on your birthday, but here you gave me the biggest gift of my life...... afcource after you " arjun joined his forehead with hers feeling content.
Both were happy, they don't want anything else from this in life.........all they want is love from each other so that they can share their love with the little bundle of joy.
" I love you " both said in unison and finally joined their lips with each other to seal the beautiful moment with their love.
