Ryu: 'Just why?'
Ryu was currently pondering his thoughts about everything he had learned in the day. Everyone was sleeping as he just looked up as the ceiling.
Ryu: 'I'm part Demon? My Dragon Half was crazy enough, but this? This is just too much.'
Ryu got up and jumped onto the roof looking into the sky.
Ryu: 'Dragon, and Demon. Just why do I look so normal then?'
Logius: There was always something off about you my boy. I noticed it the first time I entered your body, but there isn't much of a downside of you being a Demon.
Shojo: Yeah, your more of a good human being than anyone else.
???: Couldn't sleep?
He turned and saw Mira with a surprised look.
Ryu: Mira? What are you doing out here so late?
Mira: Well I was wondering if you were still up.
Ryu: I guess you know me too well.
Mira: Come on, what's eating you?
Ryu: Well it's just, I started finding out that there's even more to me than I knew again.
She struggled to hold back a laugh not believing him.
Mira: Pfft! Oh what, you're telling me you're a demon now?
Ryu: Yup.
She looked at him seeing that he wasn't laughing.
Mira: Oh gosh you're serious... OH.
Ryu: Uh huh.
She looked at him confused turning his head sideways.
Mira: It's kinda strange though, you don't look like a demon.
Ryu: Well neither do you Mira.
Mira: Oh, so you actually realized that.
Ryu: Come on, Takeover or not being exposed to Demon Souls like that will have that affect on someone.
Mira: Well, do you think of yourself any differently?
Ryu: Uhhh, maybe?
She tilted her head with a slight pouty face.
Mira: That's not the answer I was looking for.
Ryu: Heh heh, ok ok, I'm no different than I was before.
She smiled hugging his arm.
Mira: That's right!
Ryu: Man, it's hard to think of how you're 19 and still act like such a kid.
This time she deadpanned looking at him.
Mira: Do you really have room to talk?
Ryu remembered some of THEE most childish things he had ever done. One was put literally 5 Ghost Peppers in a plate of Natsu's food, then there was a time a smacked Gray for a straight 2 minutes, and finally was the entire fight with Master Hades when he somehow managed to get them all S Class from ranking the amount of hits and even references they got.
Ryu: I actually-
Shojo&Logius: Don't you fucking dare boy.
Ryu: Don't.
Mira: Logius and Shojo stopped you didn't they?
Ryu: ..... No comment -_-.
She laughed seeing the face he made.
Mira: But Ryu, just know that no matter what you are, Human, Dragon, or even a Demon, Fairy Tail would never be the same without you. I would never be the same without you. You just complete everything. You always know how to make things better.
She wrapped her arms around his neck gazing into his eyes.
Mira: Whatever you are, you're still you. Ryu Kaiser, the man I love more than anyone else.
Ryu smiled before running his hand through Mira's hair.
Ryu: I love you too Mira.
They brought theirs faves closer before locking lips.
TIME SKIP!!
After about a 30 minute make out session, Mira had gone back to the dorms as Ryu was finally able to get enough rest for the Games.
Ryu: *Yawn* This really isn't gonna be an easy day if I get chosen.
Raito: What is it with you and sleeping late?
Aqua: Yeah, it's gonna cost us one of these days.
Ryu: You know for a damn fact I've won every one on one fight I've ever had.
Keith: I guess but still be careful.
Wendy: I'm just wondering what today's event will be.
Ryu: Well there's only one way to find out.
TIME SKIP!!
Aqua: I'm going in and there's no way you can convince me otherwise.
The game for today was called Navel Battle. Now ignoring how odd that sounds a contestant from each team battles in a dome of water. If you get pushed out you lose, and the last one in wins it all. When two competitors remain there'll be a ridiculous rule called the 5 minute rule comes into play. If one person gets knocked out before 5 minutes than only the winner get's points. And as you should know, Aqua legitimately would never pass a chance like this.
Ryu: No objections.
Keith: Go wild.
Wendy: Do you're best Aqua!
Raito: Conveniently this also doubled as a fan service game as all girls are gonna be in bikini's. All except Quintero Cerberus who only have male members.
Ryu: Aqua, if you have any shred of sanity-
Aqua: Get rid of them first I know.
Over at Sabertooth Sting looked at Karma.
Sting: You planning on entering this one?
Karma: Nah, blood and water won't exactly be too good for everyone else.
Sting: Meaning?
Azure: She doesn't want to be put under arrest by killing everyone.
Sting: Hmph, fair enough.
Azure: Anyway I guess it's time you got to do your thing, Minerva.
He looked back to a woman with black hair and emerald green eyes.
Minerva: I suppose it is.
Rogue: Azure, how many times does everyone have to say that we're supposed to address her as M'Lady?
Azure: And how many times do I have to tell you I seriously don't care.
Olga: Dude, seriously, you know masters gonna he ticked.
Rufus: And you know what happens when-
Azure: The old man can go at me forever for all I care. I'll address her with respect when she proves she deserves mine.
Minerva: Truthfully I don't care, but if you want me to prove my strength then watch this game.
All the wizards who participated entered the orb. That being Aqua, Juliet, Shelia, Jenny, Risley, Minerva, and Rocker, who by the way was blasted out of the water by Aqua the moment the game started.
Ryu: Saves my eye sockets.
Keith: You were planning on using light rays again weren't you?
Ryu: Don't ask dumb questions.
There was practically a war going on as Wizards were attacking left and right. Surprisingly Aqua didn't use any big spells knowing she'd need them for later.
Aqua: 'That Minerva chick has some serious Magic power.'
She let a kick go through her as it was from Juliet.
Juliet: Shoot.
He smirked looking back at her fellow competitor.
Aqua: Does the title "Water Dragon" mean nothing to you Juli?
Juliet: Well if I can freeze it water means nothing.
She created blades of ice before they both swam towards each other. Aqua tried whipping at Juliet but she leaned back avoiding the pink water lash.
Natsu: Juli's gotten pretty nimble over the years huh? She's almost like a Ninja!
Mira: I know, it's almost hard to believe that she can maneuver like that even in water.
Gajeel: Somethings just not right to me though.
Laxus: Yeah, there's just one thing that's not right.
Aqua felt her body solidify as Juli had swung a blade grazing the side of her cheek.
Juliet: Told you, if I can freeze you I can hit you.
Aqua: Real clever. Royal Water Dragon: Crushing Claw!
Aqua lunged at Juliet hitting her with a powerful claw of water. The ice wizard had created a block of ice to stop herself looking up.
Juliet: 'Shoot, she's too tough. I might only have one good way of getting her. Hopefully this foothold can support it.'
Juliet's eyes glowed white as she readied her next move. Before she could even do anything though she was out of the orb.
Juliet: What?!
She fell to the ground not even able to think of how it could have happened so quickly.
Raito: THE HELL?!!
Chapati: We're down to our last two! Time for the 5 minute rule to go!
Aqua finally saw that Minerva was the other one in as her hand was out.
Sting: M'Lady is quite mischievous. She could've easily taken them all out but she saved her magic instead.
Karma: She's just killing time as usual.
Minerva: End of the line. I can send you out of this arena in the time that it takes to blink but the people came here for a show, so I'll give it to them.
Aqua: I could say the same for you.
Aqua disappeared as she appeared behind Minerva.
Aqua: Royal Water Dragon: ROAR!!
She let out a breath attack that went straight out the ball hitting the ground.
Keith: Alright!
Wendy: WAY TO GO AQUA!!
Ryu: No...
Shojo: Oh sweet Christ what is it?
Keith: Dude, she just won.
Raito: Could you really not see?!
Minerva appeared behind Aqua this time with everyone being shocked.
Minerva: Now make sure to scream.
Aqua: 'Oh crap this'll be bad.'
Aqua was hit in the side with a scorching hot heat.
Aqua: ARGHHH!!!!
Ryu: AQUA!!
Soon she started to get hit all around by the same heat.
Minerva: Oh dear, cannot handle hot water that well?
Keith: I don't get it, why is she getting affected?!
Ryu: It's her one weakness in water! Heat attacks can mess her up real bad!
Soon she felt the strike in her right leg as that's what REALLY hurt her.
Aqua: 'Crap! Now this injury decided to flare up! And that unintentional joke about Flare ISN'T HELPING!'
Still 3 minutes remained on the clock as Keith's anger began to boil.
Aqua: Tch, I won't stop here! I won't let Sabertooth take 1st place from us again!
Minerva: Are you sure you don't want out of this torment?
She hit Aqua again making her scream.
Aqua: ... If I quit now after all of my teammates worked so hard it'd be worse than betraying them! Hit me all you want I won't notice! Fairy Tail WILL be Number One once more!
After she said that there was an ominous silence as Ryu just started biting his nails.
Ryu: Bloody hell there still another 3-
They heard a beeping sound seeing that the clock was at 0.
Keith: THE HELL?!!
Raito: 3 Minutes are up?!!
Ryu: You know what I don't even care, GET OUT AQUA!! WE'LL STILL HAVE THE TOP SPOT!!
Minerva pulled back her hand seemingly angry. That's when Azure scoffed.
Azure: And that's it.
Rogue: What's it?
Azure: When Minerva get's upset she lashes it in way's that really do nothing.
Sting: I don't see what you mean. She only just attacked.
Karma: Just wait, you'll see.
Aqua got hit by multiple blast again as she screamed in agony.
Aqua: ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Keith&Wendy: AQUA!!!
Ryu&Raito: SIS!!!
Minerva: You haven't learned your place have you? Maybe this will teach you!
When the attack seemed to be over she let herself fall with a bit of relief.
Aqua: 'I did my part guys. I can barely keep going right now.'
As she was about to fall out Minerva actually teleported her in front of her actually kicking her.
Natsu: HEY!!
Gray: What the hell?!!
Erza: She actually stopped her from getting out.
Keith: YOU ALREADY WON JUST LET HER GO!!
Soon Minerva started pummeling Aqua relentlessly.
Azure: Now you get me?
Sting: I guess, but do you really care? I kinda find it fun to watch her put that excuse for a Dragon Slayer in her place.
Azure: We could've gotten first place of only she used common sense and let her out. If she tortured her after, I couldn't care less.
He continued beating Aqua with some blood coming out from the Half Breeds mouth.
Natsu: STOP IT!!!!
Ryu was genuinely ready to destroy everyone who got in his way ready to lunge in to save Aqua.
Logius: CEASE THIS AT ONCE!!!
A moment later after hearing another one of Aqua's screams a tint of red appeared in his hair. This didn't go unnoticed by Karma and Azure as the latter smirked.
Karma: What's so funny?
Azure: I'm interested to see how "M'Lady" deals with an angry Disaster.
After another 4 minutes of brutal attacks Minerva held her out of the ring.
Chapati: IT'S DONE!! AQUA IS OUT!!! THE WINNER IS SABERTOOTH'S MINERVA!!!
Sting: Well, serves her right.
Minerva dropped Aqua's body as Keith appeared from the shadow she cast catching her.
Keith: AQUA! COME ON SAY SOMETHING!!
He seemed to have tears in his eyes are glared at Minerva with more venom than he ever had. Soon Raito and Wendy ran down with Wendy having tears falling down her face.
Raito: YOU LITTLE BITCH!!!
Wendy: AQUA!!
Azure: Brace yourself for some fear.
Soon they all felt a surge of wrath that came from Ryu.
Shojo: She just destroyed the line!!!
Ryu jumped down onto the ground with Magic Power surging out of him as when he landed the ground seemed to shatter and shake. It went on each step he took as he was more livid than he ever had been, though, his face was completely straight. Behind him everyone could almost see a silhouette, but it was definitely not human.
Minerva: I see I struck a nerve.
Ryu continued walking forward the ground shaking with each step.
Minerva: You can glare at me all you want if it helps you feel better. Just know I acted in full compliance with the rules.
Hearing that got an unexpected reaction.
Ryu smirked.
Fang: Hey guys, this is Fang, the Author of the Book. Let me explain why I put that in italics. I made Ryu a fun loving character and someone who cares about friends and family more than anyone. Now push him to the point of anger, that's when he starts to kick ass in the most painful way. Now what do you think would happen if rage like his was pushed further than it honestly should.
Nothing good.
As soon as he took another step Minerva actually started worrying.
Minerva: 'What's this? Just a step ago I was fine, but him being this close is almost... Hard to bare.'
Ryu: So you like torture huh?
Raito looked at him in awe.
Raito: 'I read about it before, but for Ryu to actually have so much control over it...'
Wendy: Raito?
Raito: Dragon's Wrath...
???: That's good.
Soon enough Azure came beside Minerva.
Azure: The Dragon God's heir finally show's his talons.
Soon they saw the rest of Team Sabertooth down.
Ryu: Move it false prince. Once I'm done with her you'll be next on the list.
Raito stood up with a cold Aura surrounding him.
Raito: Ryu, not here.
Ryu: You can't change my mind Raito.
Soon he felt someone hug him from behind. He saw that person to be Wendy as he calmed down a bit looking at her.
Wendy: Ryu it's not worth it...
He looked at her and then Minerva before his aura vanished. He patted Wendy on her head.
Ryu: Alright...
