"Hello?" Jungwon's mother picked up the phone
"Wonnie? Hello?" Jay replied
"Oh, is this Jay?" She asked
"Yes, may I please ask where Jungwon is?" Jay asked Jungwon's mother
"Oh, Sorry Jay he's sleeping right now. He must've been tired" The mother replied with a bit of sadness in her tone
"Ahhh, It's okay eomeoni I'll call beck later" Jay replied happily
"I'll hang up now" The mother replied
"Okay"
After ending the call, her mother stroked his sons hair while softly humming a song she always loved
"Jungwon-ah, wake up" Her mother said while shaking him softly but still Jungwon wasn't getting up
She left the room so that his son could rest. She ate dinner all alone and after, immediately washing the dishes. She went to the living room to entertain herself by watching tv
Jungwon finally woke up, getting out of his room and immediately went to the bathroom to wash his face. After doing so, he saw her mom sitting in the couch alone so she joined her
"Oh, Jungwon-ah your already up?" Her mother smiled
"Yes, was I asleep for too long?" Jungwon asked his mother
"No, not really" Her mother replied chuckling a little
"Oh, by the way Jungwon, Jay called you so I answered it" Jungwon layed his head in her mother's shoulder while listening to what she's saying
"What did he say?" Jungwon asked curiously
"He said he wanted to break up with you" Her mother teased him but Jungwon didn't liked it and didn't think it was funny
"Mom!" Jungwon shouted but a bit more softly and respectful
"He said if you were there, I said you were sleeping and he said he'd call you back after you woke up" Her mother finally told him
They both were enjoying their time together, watching tv and talking. Jungwon and his mother has a very close relationship, she was a bestfriend and a mother also to Jungwon. Since Jungwon isn't good at making friends, her mother became his bestfriend
"Jungwon?" A familiar voice was calling from the outside, Jungwon looked out the window to see Jay waiting there
"Mom, can I go with Jay hyung, were just going for a little walk" Jungwon asked her mom for permission and of course her mother was fine with it. It's kinda rare for Jungwon to go with his friends since he didn't have one
Her mother and Jungwon opened the door to see Jay waiting there. Jay respectfully bowed at her mother to show some respect. Jungwon and Jay grabbed each other's hands as they walk away from the house
"Have fun lovebirds!" Jungwon's mom shouted making them both chuckle a little
While walking, They both went a trip back to memory lane. To recall all the things that happened before they met
"Jay hyung, remember the time you hit me with your bike?" Jungwon asked him
"How could I not remember? I couldn't forgive myself for that" Jay replied making the younger giggle a little
They stopped by a park, it was a bit small but it was beautiful. They both sat down at a bench and there they began talking once again. They took a while there but later they left because of the time
"Wonnie?" Jay asked
"Mm?" The younger replied with an innocent smile
"There's a nearby ice cream shop over there, do you wanna maybe go?" Jay asked him with a smile
"Sure" With that, they both got up and started walking to the direction of the shop
They arrived at the shop so they went inside. It wasn't too crowded so they decided to just eat there instead. Jay went to the counter to order the ice cream while Jungwon was sitting in their table
"I'll take one pistachio and one mint chocolate please" Jay said as he hand his money without knowing the price
"That will be 12 dollars" The guy from the counter said and handed him his change
Jay carried the two ice cream to their table. It has been a while since they both eaten ice cream. After taking the first bite, they felt good
"Jay hyung?"
"Yes, Wonnie?"
"What are you gonna do after graduation?" Jungwon boldly asks
"U-uhm, I don't have plans yet" Jay replied nervously which made Jungwon a bit suspicious
"Okay" Jungwon brushed it off
They both went home, Jay walked Jungwon back to his house. Jungwon smiled at him from ear to ear
"I had fun today Jay hyung" Jungwon told him which made Jay relieved and happy also
"Me too Jungwon" Jay replied with a smile on his face
"See you tomorrow at graduation" Jungwon told him and Jay nodded
Jay left and went back to his home. He recalled what Jungwon had asked him and he was nervous. It was because his father told him he should go study abroad with him. He didn't want Jungwon to know about it because he might be hurt by it. He wanted to keep it to himself
"Ahhhh, Jungwon I'm so sorry" He sighed as he started to tear up
