Chapter Three
As all seven of them ran deeper into the dark woods, they heard the dozers cutting down the beautiful forest. Each sound of the trees being destroyed was like screams to their ears. In all the terror, there was hope, for luckily, the bull dozers had not destroyed the two families house.
Crystal looked up seeing their families going away in the helicopters; She didn't know what was happening, but she was scared. They sat down once the coast was clear.
"Okay, everybody, stay calm." Francis said.
"How can we stay calm! Our families were just taken to who knows where and our forest was just completely town down!" yelled Everett.
"Let's just wait awhile, and after those people are gone we will go to our houses and figure out what to do." said Crystal trying not to freak out.
The seven of them looked around to watch for more danger. After an hour, they all met back in the same place again.
"Okay, it seems as if everybody is gone, but I'm not entirely sure." said Anna. She used her super hearing to see if anyone was still there. "Nope, I don't hear anything."
"Crystal, Joshua, and I will go and see." said Francis, "Everett, you stay here and watch over the others."
"Okay, Fine." Everett said in disappointment.
"Let's go." Crystal initiated to leave.
