"Daddy, mommy I promise he started I'm sorry" emery tell us crying
I look at hardin and he looks furious, he follows Auden "come here right now! Who do you think you can talk like that?!" I hear him
I'm just going to let him deal with Auden. I pick up emery and she cries on my shoulder
"He hates me? What I'm going to do mommy" I rub her back
"He doesn't em, siblings fight, he loves you more than anything" she looks at me with tears on her eyes
"He hates when you and daddy fight, I do too" you know how it feels when your own 5 year old kid tells you to stop fighting
Our arguments aren't just affecting our marriage, they are affecting our kids, I just can't have another baby right now, it's not the right time, please....
I stoke her hair "we are going to stop fighting, I'm sorry baby" she hugs me back and I hear Auden fighting with Hardin
"I made a friend" emery tells me trying to change the subject, she's just so smart
"Really what's her name?"
"It's actually a he" she giggles, snuggling her face on my neck "don't tell daddy"
"I won't.... is he cute?"
"We are just friends, his name is mike and he's 6"
"Whoa my little girl already has boys running around her" she giggles
"Auden kissed two girls"
"What?!" No that's imposible
"All the girls love him, he made so many friends" she tells me a little upset
"Well he won't be getting a girlfriend any soon" then I see Auden and Hardin behind him
"I'm sorry em" Auden tells her looking down
"Look at her eyes and tell her you are sorry" Hardin tells him
"It's okay daddy, I forgive him, I'm sorry too, now can you stop fighting?" You can hear the concern in her voice
Hardin takes her from my arms and he kisses her all over her face, that's when I smell something burnt
I run to the kitchen and see all my pasta and sauce burnt, just great tessa. I can't even take care of a pasta and now I'm going to have another kid
"Is everything ok?" Hardin asks me
"No, I have to make dinner again, I always ruin everything"
"We can just order food baby, don't worry"
I clean everything while Hardin orders food. I need to take a pregnancy test, I need to know for sure, but I don't want to know the truth
My mind won't stop thinking about it, there might be a human being growing inside me right now, or maybe two
I just can't handle a baby, just why right now, just when I least expect it. I can't tell hardin. But if I don't tell him we will keep fighting
But if I do tell him, he's going to be mad at me, I just don't know what to do, why is life so difficult!
You know what I'm just going to take a pregnancy test. I walk to our bathroom, lock the door and take a little box from my upper cabinet
After 5 minutes of thinking and thinking if I should do it or not. I just take it
I put it down and wait 3 minutes, I remember when I took one when I was pregnant with the twins
It was the worst and best day of my life, I remember telling hardin in the park, god that was intense, we were too young and little did we knew we would had twins
Life is full of surprise- I get distracted by my alarm, I close my eyes and pray for it to be negative. it's ok tessa just relax, it's going to be negative
I turn it around and just stare at it, fuck- what am I going to do. It says 2 and a half moths pregnant
I just can't- what am I going to do, this is so messed up
Hardin is going to be so mad, and the twins- oh god, I just fuck.. my life is so messed up
I hear Hardin calling me
I quickly put it away and walk to the kitchen, when I get there I see the kids already eating and my salad set up
"Thanks" I ignore his stare and just sit down, I just can't believe it, there's a human growing up inside me
My little babies are going to be big sister/brother. What if they're twins again or triplets I just can't imagine my life with a newborn
I quietly eat my salad but my hair keeps coming to my face "Em can you please bring me a hair tie from my bathroom?"
She nods and walks to my room, after 2 minutes she comes running with a hair tie and......... the pregnancy test
Hardin looks at it and starts choking, oh god....
