"Yeah I think so...just a little sore" he responded
Today the guardians went on a mission that they was going to be a simple one but ended up going south quickly. Long story short they ended up running into some Kree Purists who had despised Gamora for what she done and decided to attack the whole team. One of them end up grazing the side of Peter's abdomen with a knife after he trying to get in front of Gamora so that she didn't get hurt but the cut wasn't deep enough to need to go to the hospital.
There was a decent amount of blood loss but thankfully Peter didn't pass out
"What you did today was stupid you should know I can handle myself" she told him sternly
"I know but your part of this team now and you shouldn't have to"
Gamora contemplated his words for a second
"Thank you" she smiled sweetly
They gazed into each other's eyes for a moment and she could feel herself leaning in but then she jerked back suddenly
"We should probably head to bed we have to get up early tomorrow we have a meeting with Nova Prime"
"Wait Gamora let's just-" he said frantically
"Goodnight Peter"
Then Gamora stomped off to her quarters

Gamora had already changed into her sleeping clothes and slipped into her bed. She had made it her goal after the first song to try and listen to at least one song every night. Over time she was hoping that maybe this playlist was going to show her how she was feeling about the unspoken thing between her and Peter. She wasn't sure what real just happened back there but she wasn't happy with the way she reacted towards Peter and she doesn't known why she did it...or maybe she does she just...doesn't want to admit...

Gamora could not help but feel a little nervous and maybe the slightest bit emotional just by the title of the song. She knew Peter wanted to know her feeling towards him badly but she also knew that he wanted to give her time and wanted her to wait until she was ready to tell him.
It wasn't that she didn't want to tell him she just didn't know what her feelings towards him were
She then pressed play on the Zune

The first few lines hit Gamora hard. She finally realized Peter was scared that she doesn't feel the same way towards him as he does for her. That's why Peter is giving her all the time she needs...in hopes that maybe she will end feeling the same way for Peter as he does for her.

Gamora can't help the tears that start falling from her eyes and she can feel the lump start to form in the back of threat again

The last couple lines of the song had more tears falling from Gamora's eyes and down her face. Gamora realizes that just how much he loves her and how much he wants her to stop leading him on and just tell him that she doesn't feel the same way...
