Peter is now standing in front of his and Gamora's bedroom
You may be asking why and well it's because Gamora has been very off today and Peter is not really sure why. She had been avoiding everybody on the ship all day. When Peter tried to ask her what was wrong she just simply said "Nothing, I'm fine..." That simple statement hurt Peter more than he thought it would because it meant that she was shutting him out again. They just started dating and she had just started letting him in more than the rest of the family but apparently that's no longer the case.
When Gamora went into their room to be alone Peter knew what he had to do...it was time for another song
The annoying squeak of their bedroom door caused Gamora's head to shoot up from her place in bed to see who was coming in
"It's just Peter" she thought to herself
"I really just want to be alone right now, Peter...please..." she trailed off
Peter sighed "I know that but I wanted to give you another song to listen to because you've been...distant today"
Gamora just looked at him for moment contemplating her decision before gesturing for him to come over to their bed
"Normally I would want you to listen to it through the headphones but this time I want to play it out loud so we can listen to it together"
"Okay then"
Peter took that as his cue to get the song started
"You ready? he asked hesitantly
She just nodded
Just as we about to press play, Gamora glanced over at the Zune and saw the name of the song

Gamora turns her head to look at Peter with the softest look she's given him all day. Just from that look alone Peter knew this was gonna work

Gamora silently intertwined her hand with Peter's as she continues to listen to the song

Right after that part of the song had ended Peter felt two drops hit his hand simultaneously he realized Gamora was crying. Without even thinking about it he immediately wrapped his arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him so her head was resting on his shoulder. The song continued to play as he felt more drops land on his shirt now
