"I miss Naira", she said.

"I miss her too", I said looking down at her.

"Wanna hear a story or a lullaby?", I asked her.

Ahana forwarded me the tape recorder that Naira had given her.

"I wanna hear Naira's voice. She said that she had recorded a lullaby for me in this tape recorder", Ahana said and I took the tape recorder from her.

"Okay...lets switch it on", I said and switched on the tape recorder, placing it on the bedside table. Ahana closed her eyes and hugged me tightly. I started patting her back to make her sleep.

The music began and I closed my eyes. I soon heard Naira singing. I smiled hearing her voice and began singing along with her as I patted Ahana's back.

The lullaby was over. My eyes were filled with tears. I could feel that Naira is here with me. I looked at Ahana. She had fallen asleep. I made her lie comfortably on the bed and covered her fully with the duvet. I got down the bed and walked out of the bedroom, switching off the lights behind.

I walked towards the bar and sat on the seat. I buried my head in my hands and sat like that for some minutes.

I lost her.....

I sighed and raised my head. I looked at her photograph. I had clicked it secretly one day cuz she was looking so beautiful and lovely.

I smiled looking at that photograph as tears rolled down my eyes.

I wiped my tears and made a drink for myself. I began drinking it looking at her photograph and cherishing all the memories I had spent with her.

Just then, I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned back to look at Pammi Aunty.

"Kartik putar...are you alright?", she asked concerned and sat beside me.

I chuckled and wiped my tears.

"You were right aunty....I am foolish....like so foolish that you can't even imagine. I should've listened to you and proposed her. Damn....I was gonna propose her that morning but received a shock instead", I laughed at my fate. Pammi Aunty smiled and caressed my cheek.

"Why am I always the one who loses everything? I mean....first Aanchal, then Nidhi actually its better if we don't talk about her and then Naira. Everyone leaves me. I guess I should give up now. I'm enough for raising my kids alone. I don't need anyone", I said confident but my eyes were still shining with tears.

"Putar....the kids have you but what about you?", Pammi Aunty asked me.

"I have them", I replied.

"Its not enough Kartik....have you seen your face? You're totally devastated by Naira leaving you. I mean I've never seen you caring so much for a girl....I mean look at you....you're holding her photograph and crying. What could be said now? Kartik....you're in love with her. You just can't let her go. She loves you too. I'm sure she is doing this marriage under family pressure. You both are made for each other. I have tried to explain Naira but she won't listen. So let go this stupidity and listen to me....you still have time. She isn't married yet....you can stop her. You can stop her from ruining her life as well as yours. Now only you can do this.....", Pammi Aunty explained holding my shoulders tight and looking directly in the eye. I sighed.

"I need to go", I said getting up from my seat.

"Where? At this hour of night!", Pammi Aunty asked.

"I'll be fine. Don't worry", I said and walked out of the door.

SIYA'S POV

I was hiding behind the wall and listening to dad's and Pammi Aunty's conversation. Dad suddenly stood up from his seat and walked out.

He looked furious....

I rushed upstairs to my bedroom and looked down from the window. It was raining heavily. Dad was drunk. He wasnt in a state to walk. He got inside his car and drove somewhere.

The history is repeating itself....

Dad's behaving in the same way he did when mom died....

He'll be okay......He better be.

I sighed and walked towards my bed. I sat on the bed and looked down at the floor.

I hate to see dad like this....

I took my phone and opened Instagram. I logged out of my account and created another account with the username - kinkybabe💋.

Gosh.....I hate to do this!!

"Abhishek Kashyap", I searched for his account on Instagram and gladly found it. I sent him a request.....

Dad better not find about this....

Otherwise I'm dead!

I'm just doing this to expose him.....

I heard a "ting" on my phone. I opened my notifications....
