I wonder.

What's with the wall? (A/N-I know this is redundant. ._.)

I mean, there are some cracks, flecked around the edges with red paint...or was it blood?

I'd rather not know.

People keep saying, "stay away from the wall".

I want to know why they say that, but I shouldn't let my curiosity get the best of me.

But here I am, reaching tentatively at the wall, my fingers trembling.

Suddenly, a voice interrupted me.

"Just what do you think you're doing, Strychnine?"

I turned, startled. "Alex! Don't do that!"

She smirked. "Yeah, well haven't you been told to stay away from the wall?"

"Well, yeah..." I mumbled.

"Then stay away from it!"

I rolled my eyes. My sarcastic, good for nothing friend, Alex.

Might as well just annoy her.

"Who's going to make me, Alexandria? Surely not you."

Her face flushed. I knew I got her. "Shut up Strychnine..."

So, yeah, I decided to stay away from the wall.

As I was glaring around, I spotted a shadow. I mean, not your average shadow, a human, standing, smoking, shadow.

As I stared, the shadow disappated as soon as I reached out to it.

"Damn, what was that?"
