Smiles are all the same

They hide the pain the emotions inside

They're your poker face

You can hide behind

Yet you show one emotion

But another comes out to play

You break from the lack of support

but the smile remains

the smile is a curse to hide the pain in ways

you smile when you're scared

but you use them to hide your pain

everything moves on, but you're stuck in time

the smile has you stuck, you can't move, everything fly's by

you can't move on

but everyone else has moved on

move to a new stage of there time

you stay afraid the smile has kept you from moving on

yet the smile stays and you're trapped in you own poker face

awaiting the grace, you seek to find
