These 'issues' most people have me including. Please don't get offended or defensive over what I call 'issues.' I don't really consider them issues.

Heres what he'll have and a description of it.

PTSD
Post traumatic stress disorder is an anxiety disorder that develops following frightening, stressful, or distressing life events. Characterized by intense fear, helplessness, and stress, PTSD affects normal life and functioning of the patient. Treatments include medications and psychotherapy, either alone or in combination.

Very common (More than 3 million cases per year in US)

Can be lifelong

Night terror
Caused due to over-arousal of the central nervous system during sleep. Risk factors include tiredness, stress, travel, fever, certain medications, and others. During an episode, the child might scream, sit up in bed, sweat, breathe heavily, have a racing pulse and kick about or thrash. Treatment is not usually required. Psychotherapy and medication might be recommended for severe cases.


Common (More than 200,000 cases per year in US)

Diagnosis doesn't require lab test or imaging

No known cure, treatments available

Can last several months or years

Asthma
The exact cause of asthma is not known; it is suspected to be due to genetic and/or environmental factors. Most commonly observed symptoms include shortness of breath, wheezing, coughing and tightness in the chest. Asthma can be controlled with medications.

Eating disorder
Eating disorders are serious conditions related to persistent eating behaviors that negatively impact your health, your emotions and your ability to function in important areas of life.

Symptoms include:

Extremely restricted eating
Extreme thinness (emaciation)
A relentless pursuit of thinness and unwillingness to maintain a normal or healthy weight
Intense fear of gaining weight
Distorted body image, a self-esteem that is heavily influenced by perceptions of body weight and shape, or a denial of the seriousness of low body weight

Other symptoms may develop over time, including:

Thinning of the bones (osteopenia or osteoporosis)
Mild anemia and muscle wasting and weakness
Brittle hair and nails
Dry and yellowish skin
Growth of fine hair all over the body (lanugo)
Severe constipation
Low blood pressure slowed breathing and pulse
Damage to the structure and function of the heart
Brain damage
Multiorgan failure
Drop in internal body temperature, causing a person to feel cold all the time
Lethargy, sluggishness, or feeling tired all the time
Infertility
