I'm fluent in quite a few languages, thanks to espionage work. Aside from English and Russian, I can speak Spanish, Portuguese, German, Latin, Romanian, and Japanese.
I can understand French, but I'm not a very fluent speaker. And I can also understand Belarusian and Uzbek because of their similarities to Russian, but I can't speak them.
