Now I know what went wrong
I found peace
we went in there with
different hopes and beliefs
You thought you'd find a
girlfriend in me
but I just needed a friend
I wasn't ready anyways
I am still not (and that's okay)
Because in order to
love someone else
you have to love yourself first
at least that's my opinion
And I'm just starting to feel
comfortable in my own skin
but now that I found out
why we didn't work
I found peace
And I'm ready to move on
to fully learn how to love myself
And I hope that you find somebody
that makes you happy
'cause I know that you're not
but I couldn't help you
because you didn't
want my friendship
So I hope that you'll find your peace and learn to accept yourself
