i still remember the night you sat me down on your twin sized mattress that we had possessed so many nights in.
i stared into your deep dark green eyes and felt sadness before you even said a word.
i knew.
you asked me: "how would you feel if you found out i cheated?" i took a deep breath, looked around the room nervously.
"i would understand,. . . there's many girls out there who are more beautiful and might make you happier. i would totally understand, because i'm just me. theres not much to me that's very attractive and i don't have flawless skin or hair, so i guess i would've guessed it." i stated.
you still looked me in the eyes, tears welled up, and told me you'd been sleeping with a girl for the course of two months.
instead of denying those things i had said about myself, you just confirmed every insecurity i had ever withheld in just three minutes.
i left you the next day and didn't look back.
i don't date anymore.

so i've entirely redone "in a minute", i've rewritten some of the poetry and have added different formats like the title and drawings. the drawings will not always associate with the poem. just doodles. i also have begun expecting more out of myself then just little TEE TINY poems that don't have any meaning, so maybe this'll work out in my favor? hahahaha but i hope you do enjoy. have a nice night!!
