Chapter 3

We walked into the restaurant together laughing, Sage and Peyton side by side with me. The place was packed with people from are school, mostly senior's like us but some juniors could get invited to tag along seeing has next year this will be there spot. But I guess you gotta know the right people, It's always been that for seniors to skip first hour and go here for breakfast. The place was open sitting really, tables and booths lay everywhere around the room and people from are school sat there, from the football team and there girlfriends all the way to the antisocial people sitting in the corner eating there bacon.

We choose a booth right by the window, as it showed the ocean outside. It was a beautiful site from the sun that gently came in, giving us warmth as we sat down. Looking far onto the water you could see guys surfing on the waves dunking under the water and riding there boards. Surfing has always terrified me even though I've never been, I've lived in Florida my entire life and I've never down it. We sat down in the booth me sitting by myself and Payton and Sage sitting in front of me. Snapping out of my thoughts three menus were slapped down onto our table as well at three waters "Hello! Welcome to OceanSide. Can I start you off with some other drinks?, I'll be your server Penny by the way."

I looked up from the menu that was just put down and remember her our sever instantly from school, Penny was a senior from last year that graduated, I've never talked to her but I knew she worked here. Her parents owned the place anyways, I've seen her around.

I looked at Payton and Sage across from me. Both of them looking at the menu's and already drinking their waters. Seeing that they were good with waters I ordered for myself "I'll have a sprite." I said smiling

Penny nodded, writing it down on her note pad "Let me guess? First day of school?" She asked stuffing her note pad in her apron. I laughed tucking a piece of hair behind my ear "Yep"

Penny laughed back, shaking her head "Well I'll go get your sprit and I'll come back to get your order for food" Penny swiftly turned around and walked away. I watched her ponytail go back and forth as she did so Passing the tables and going into the back to get my drink

I turned my head back to our table watching  Payton slapped down her menu in frustration and pushing away her water that was already half empty "Ugh I think I need to pee" she said

Sage rolled her eyes, putting down her menu, I guess she already know what she wanted to eat. "Why didn't you go pee before you left. Like regular people" Sage said sipping on her water

"I did, but my Blatter is like the size of a grape"

I laughed and so did Sage. Payton has a weird imagination. Payton stood up from her seat. "Oh shut up, Darcy come with me?"

I kept laughing "Fine. Let's go"

I got up from my seat on the booth and started walking with Payton to the bathrooms on the other side of the restaurant. The restaurant seemed to get louder then it was before, more seats are filling up with students from school, walking closer to the bathroom Me and Payton passed a familiar booth. Seeing Payton suck in her breath we try and quickly go passed without getting noticed. Sadly for Payton it's not that easy

" Payton you sure do go to the bathroom a lot when you come here. Is it just because you have a small bladder or because you just wanna see me" a familiar voice spoke behind us with a laugh from his friends

Payton stopped died in her tracks of the voice she hated the most. The guy who always poked the right buttons to make her just blow up, the one that made smoke come out of her ears ever since the day in forth grade were he suddenly decided to pull her hair in class and ever since then she's had a total hated toward the dark blonde haired jokester
