7. Welcome Back

Niall interlock his hand to mine and pulled me to his car. He open the car for me and I went in. Niall went in the driver's seat and lock us in. The paps are still outside the car taking pictures of us.

"I miss you!" Niall smiled and I sigh

"What are you actually doing here?" I asked

"Isn't it obvious? I went here because of you" Niall roll his eyes

"Okay!" I mumbled

"Let's go home!" Niall offered

"I'm not going anywhere. When this people gets tired in taking pictures and goes away I'm going home" I said

"I'm sorry?" Niall fakely coughed

"I said when this people gets tired in taking pictures and goes away I'm going home" I repeated

"You're not going anyhwere!" Niall said

I look at him and said, "You can't say where I should go or where I shouldn't go!"

Suddenly, Niall lean in and kiss me and flashes of camera started occupying our space again. I immediately pulled away feeling so pissed at him. Niall and I drove off and I fell asleep in the car.

"Baby! Wake up we're here" Niall said shaking my shoulders softly

I slowly open my eyes and got out of the car pulling my hoodie down. Niall open the door and I went in recognizing the familiar place. I got my phone and dialed Tara's number. Niall was about to go upstairs, but when Niall saw me holding my phone he walk towards me.

"Who are you calling?" Niall asked

"It's not your damn business!" I answered sarcastically

Niall grab my phone from my hands and said, "Seriously, who are you calling?"

"My best friend!" I answered and got my phone and press the call button

"Why are you going to call her?" Niall asked

"To tell her that I won't be home tonight!" I answered pressing my phone to my ear

"Hello?" Tara answered

"Hey! Tara so I won't be home tonight" I said

"Oh......Anyways, Diana! I saw you a while ago in the news with Niall" Tara screamed

"Uh.....that's actually the reason why I won't be home tonight" I said biting my bottom lip

"What? You're with Niall right now?" Tara asked basically shouting at the phone

"Yes!" I answered

"Have fun! Bye" and with that Tara hang up her phone

I put my phone back to my pocket and Niall is staring at me smiling from ear to ear.

"What?" I asked raising one of my eyebrows

"Nothing!" Niall smiled and went upstairs

I went out to the pool area and sat on the edge of the pool dipping my feet in the water. I started kicking the water slowly feeling the cold water. I pulled my feet out of the water, stood up, and went inside with my slippers on. I found Maura sitting on the couch. She look into my direction when she heard footsteps. She immdiately smiled seeing my face. Maura stood up from the couch and went to hug me and I hug her back.

"What a surprise darling!" she smiled

"Hi!" I smiled back

"What did Niall do?" Maura asked

"He basically brought me here" I answered

"Oh!" the smile on Maura's face disappeared

Suddenly, Maura and I heard hard footsteps coming from the staircase. Maura look up to see Niall going down the stairs.

"Hi mom!" Niall said

Maura did not reply.

"I'm going to go shopping wanna come?" Maura asks me

"Sure!" I smiled

Maura and I started walking headed to the door, but before I was about to turn the knob Niall stop us.

"Where are you going?" Niall asked so we turn around to face him

"Since when did you ask me where I was going?" Maura asked raising an eyebrow

"I'm not going to ask if it does not involve Diana" Niall answered

I can feel the tension between Maura and Niall.

"Shopping!" I finally butted in trying to stop the tension

"You won't go!" Niall commanded

"Why not?" Maura complain

"Like I said earlier you can't tell me where to go or where not to go" I said

"So now what? You're going to take her away from me again?" Niall shouted

"Fine! I'm going to go alone!" Maura turns around, but I grip her arm to stop her from taking another step

"I'm going with you!" I said

Before Niall could stop us we both headed out. Maura and I immediately went in her car and drove off. The events that just happened a while ago can't stop playing in my mind like a video. I wasn't able to stop myself from asking, so I finally asked Maura about it.
