Whatcha Reading?

"Whatcha reading?" 

Raven snapped her book shut. "Nothing. Go away."

"Well, you're reading something." Beast Boy turned into a puppy and jumped into her lap, making eyes at her. She picked him up by the scruff of the neck and set him on the ground.

"It's nothing. Go away." Human again, Beast Boy grabbed for Raven's book.

"Aww, come on, Rae! It can't be that bad!" He reached once again for her book, but this time, her reaction was too slow.

"Give it back!"

"Not until I read it," he crowed, opening to a random page. "None of this would have happened if you'd just given me--" Beast Boy paled several shades of green, closed the book, and gave it back.

Satisfied, Raven opened back to the page she had been on, and went back to her yaoi.
