Chapter 1

Jaipur

This story is based in the early days wen communications happened only through letters and telephone was considered to be a rich man's possession about Two friends or rather best friends...samar n ritika....samar is 16yr old...n Ritika 4 yrs younger to him...both are childhood best friends...they have always been together...supporting each other everytime...they always stayed together...even their families were happy together...Arjun,samars dad and Ramesh,ritika's father were best friends too...but a big turn in their life came when Arjun n ramesh were doing business together but their business faces huge loss..Arjun who had a good reputation in society was lost bcoz of Rameshs carelessness...there started fights between d two....though earlier it used to b trivial...but when it started getting worse..by one attacking d other by words or at times physically too...ritika n samar who saw d fyts each day held each others hand tight...tears gushed down ritikas cheeks though they couldnt understand why their dads fought...

r-uhuhuhu...Samar...­y did Arjun uncle scold my dad?
s-i don't know ritika... 
r-will they fyt tomorrow also?
Samar wiped her tears...
s-remember last tym moms fought v acted like we are fighting and they became one and scolded us...we will act like that tomorrow...may be things will sort like earlier...

s pov-hopefully it sorts out ritika...I can't c the fights each day n u getting upset...

They both sat below the moonlight hand in hand...while a cool breeze blew...
The night out there was peaceful....but no one knew it was d just silence before d storm...

Next day as the two kids planned...they executed their plan...the two started fighting...hearing their noise vasu-arjun n ramesh-laxmi came out...and saw the kids fighing...but in the fight accidently Ritika fell down and hurt her hands...though it was a small bruise but it was enough to ignite the already litten fire...ramesh and laxmi ran towards ritika..and picked her up...who was sobbing seeing her bleeding elbow..ramesh came towards Samar and angrily looked at him..n

r-how dare u push my daughter??
tears rolled down samars eyes...bcoz ramesh loved him more than his own dad arjun...he never thought ramesh would slap him...he ran to vasu n hugged her tight in fear...
but now d situation got worse wen ramesh n Arjun themselves started beating each other...however d two ladies tried to pull out their husbands from d fyt...n after a lot of struggle they were successful...

After 2hrs...
samar was sitting on d lake side waiting for ritika...n she slowly came n sat beside him...

both looked at each other n smiled...both were silent after wat all happened...their legs playing in d water...finally Samar broke d silence..
Samar took ritikas hand n saw her elbow...
s-is it paining even now??
r-little...but it will b fine...mom put turmeric paste n gave me turmeric milk too...
samar smiled...
r-did dad slap u hard??
s-hmm...(sadly)
suddenly little ritika kissed Samar on his cheeks..n he was shocked would b an understatement...n he looked at ritika in surprise..
r-if im upset after dads scoldings he usually kisses me...n my pain also vanishes..
Samar smiled at d innocence...
Later both talked n spend tym together...

Night

Rathore mansion
vasu decided to take arjun n samar to Mumbai where her brother was settled to bring d situation under control..but she knew she couldn't take Samar in d morning...bcoz ritika would cry(even she can't c her tears bcoz she too is attached to ritika) n Samar won't b happy leaving her bcoz she knew about her children well how much ever angry they r can't live without each other...so she lied to Samar that his uncle is Ill n v need to leave early...now Samar had no option...bcoz he couldn't meet ritika so late...n going to rameshs house wasn't possible after d things that happened in morning...he obliged to what vasu said though deep inside d heart he felt he is gonna lose ritika forever...

Arjun n family left for Mumbai at night itself...

A/n-Now what will happen?will Samar n ritika b able to bring their families together?will d distance between them take a toll on their friendship?will Samar return back? To know say tuned ;)
