Someone Special To You Dies (Tyler)

*Warning: This contains mentions of a family member dying of cancer, if this will bother you in any way please don't read it*

Tyler and I are sitting at the hospital, my mom has cancer and they think she will pass on soon. I've been crying for what seems like hours now. They haven't let us in to see her yet because the doctors are speaking with her. A doctor comes up to Tyler and I and says
"Sir, Mrs.Y/L/N Would like to see you alone for a moment."
Tyler looks at me with concern and says
"Are you going to be okay if I go see her?"
"Yeah, I'll be okay."
He kisses the top of my head and stands up and follows the doctor to the room. I'm all alone now and I feel more tears start to form. I don't let them fall because I told Tyler I would be okay. He is gone for what seems like forever, but he finally returns and says
"She wants you to come see her."
I stand up and walk over to Tyler, he grabs my hand and we walk down the hallway to my mother's room. The doctor knocks on the door and I hear my mom say
"Come in."
We walk inside and I see her laying on the bed, she is so skinny now, I can't help but cry when I see her. I sit down in a chair beside her and she says
"Please don't cry Y/N."
"I'm sorry mom, I just don't like seeing you like this."
She takes my hand in hers and says
"You have grown up to be such a wonderful young woman, I'm so proud of you, never forget that, no matter what happens always remember that I love you."
"I love you to."
She smiles and then I hear the monitors start to go off. I look down at her and see that her eyes are closed
"No! Mom wake up! Please don't leave me!"
The doctors rush in as Tyler pulls me away so that the doctors can get to her. Tyler holds me to his chest and speaks quietly in my ear
"It's okay Y/N, your mom isn't in pain anymore."
"Yeah but now I'm the one who's in pain."
I look up at Tyler and see that he is crying as much as I am. He holds me in his arms as the doctor comes up to us and says
"I'm very sorry for your loss."
I don't say anything, all I do is cry.
