synopsis

Seren Shan has learned to trust her instincts over anything else. When you're living in a world where the First Order controls practically everything, you learn the trust yourself over anyone else. Especially over your heart, because only the Force knows where that will take you. So when she's offered a job as an intelligence agent in the Resistance, she's wary - and only chooses to take the job when her life is endangered by the First Order.

It's no surprise when her skills end up with her being sent to a dangerous part of the galaxy, alongside the Resistance's best pilot - Poe Dameron. If being forced to work alongside someone who doesn't seem to understand the meaning of 'stealth' isn't bad enough, she has a bit of a history with him: one he doesn't seem to remember.

But the longer Seren works to uncover the First Order's plans, the more things come to light. About herself, her family, and the Resistance itself. It seems that there's more than meets the eye to everything around her... and the galaxy's only hope might just be a Jedi who disappeared long ago.
