As I expected, I said to myself, "Well, that was bound to happen, I suppose..." After that, I changed into my uniform and headed outside.

I ignored Aqua who is busy with his books and went outside.

Passing by the house's garage, I called out to my Mom, who was teaching Ruby how to dance. She has been tutoring her personally. "Mom, I'm going for a walk for a while~!" I exclaimed. Both Mom and Ruby chimed in, "Ah? Okaaay~ have a safe trip~"

Certainly, it's unusual for a five-year-old to be wandering alone, especially in a suspicious alleyway. However, here I am, needing to catch a train and somehow finding myself in Shinjuku. When I said I wanted to "go out," I simply meant to use the train as my mode of transportation.

Given that Shinjuku ward was brimming with numerous alleyways and boasted one of Japan's largest red-light districts, my presence in this area is undoubtedly something to be frowned upon.

Fortunately, the alley I found myself in was surprisingly deserted, providing me with the ideal space to begin my practice. I commenced by gently running my fingers along the towering walls that enclosed the alleyway.

As I allow my energy to flow, something miraculous happens—it adheres to the surface. Initially, it proves challenging to disengage, but with persistence, I successfully break free.

I've really got good grasp of it. I concentrate energy at the bottom of my feet to climb walls without using my hands. If the energy is weak, I might slip and fall. If it's too strong, I'll be pushed away from the wall, risking a fall and causing damage to the wall. Precision and focus are key to mastering this technique.

Stepping back, I confidently place my right foot against the wall. Remarkably, it clings to the surface. Gradually, I raise my other limb and take a step forward... moving steadily along the walls like shinobis. A smile naturally forms on my face, overwhelmed with the thrill of the moment.

Holy crap...

I AM • MOTHER F*CKING • SPIDER-MAN, B*TCH!

With determination, I swiftly made my way up, grateful that I had opted not to wear skirts. My excitement was overwhelming, causing me to run without restraint until I finally reached the rooftop of the building.

After arriving at the rooftop I took some time to gasp the air. The adrenaline in my body hadn't toned down yet. There's one more thing I'd need to try...

Standing at the edge of the building, I focused on the nearest rooftop as my target. Crouching down, I gathered energy in my foot, and at the perfect moment, I kicked off from the rooftop... *BLAM*

"WHOAAAAAA!!!" I soared through the air, exhilarated by the flight.

As I soared through the air, unsure of how to land, I decided to land safely on my feet while using energy to cushion the impact. With this plan in mind, I felt more confident about handling the landing successfully.

With a resounding *BOOM*, I landed on the rooftop, and to my surprise, I created a small crater upon impact.

"UWAA!???" I exclaimed, taken aback by the force of the landing and the resulting damage on the rooftop.

But... it seems I may have molded the energies a bit too much...

*BLAM* "WAAAAAAAAH!!!!???"

The excess energy residue unexpectedly launched me back into the air without my consent. I quickly realized my control was far from good; in fact, it was quite poor.

[Thought Acceleration is Active]

As I reached great heights and started to fall, my thought acceleration kicked in, slowing down everything around me. This gave me precious moments to strategize my next move and calculate the right amount of energy to use.

Being thrown quite far away, I spotted another flat rooftop—the next destination acquired. This time, I focused on using the energy in my foot to absorb the impact, and I managed to land softly.

*Thud*

Finally, I was able to land perfectly, bringing a wide grin to my face. Feeling exhilarated, I launched from rooftop to rooftop, jumping and running over buildings like a certain superhero.

Though there were no threads to make a satisfying *THWIP THWIP*, the experience was still thrilling and exciting.

After a few rooftops later, I was greeted by the breathtaking sight of the city. It was adorned with tall skyscrapers, neon-lit streets, and bustling crowds, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Shinjuku's nightlife was particularly renowned, offering a wide array of entertainment options from karaoke bars and clubs to theaters and cinemas. Additionally, the district boasted the Kabukicho area, one of Japan's prominent red-light districts, which added a contrasting element to its vibrant ambiance.

Everything... Is so vibrant.

Well, I got home a bit late and I got scolded by both Mom and Miyako-san later on, but... That was worth it, right?

I mean... Right?
