"alright this week we will be attending the masters of dance arts competition in Atlanta Georgia the first routine i'm going to talk about is a trio we're talking about the good old south southern bells, Paige you are apart of the trio with Chloe and Kendall."
"i have two solos, Maddie you will be competing this week but you will be doing a ballet routine"
"and Mackenzie you will also be doing a solo you will be entered in the lip sync category and you must lip sync the song it has to be big you have to exaggerate every song."
"alright every one will do the gorup routine expect for you Mackenzie this will be a very mature piece and since we are going to Atlanta i wanted to do something historical educational believe it or not and also a canny award worthy this will be a piece about the civil rights movement, so Nia your mother has been on my back when is it going to be Nias turn when is she going to get something special dadsdadafad so Nia i'm challenging you to give a oscar worthy performance as our young hereoine in the piece At Last."
"so Nia will be our featured performer but with that the weight of this victory is on you, okay that's it i'm going to get the girls warmed up spread apart guys"
|Group Rehearsals| "this routine is going to be s controversial piece it's going to be something that we leave the audience talking about there will be no fooling around understand? alright let's go." Abby says
we start learning the piece and it's a really good piece we go over it then we get dismissed
|Competition Day|
the last couple days were boring
group rehearsals were just Abby yelling at us
i don't do classes anymore so i sat in the dancers den with Brooke because we weren't in the trio so we had nothing to do
besides play games on Brookes phone or do homework.
oh and Eloise's sister Evelyn started classes here!
we arrive at the competition and we head to the dressing rooms
we head backstage for the solos and the trio
i give Eloise a piggyback on the way rower
"god you're heavy" i say
"hey!" she says
"no offence! i'm shorter than you!" i say
"by like an inch!" Eloise says
Kenzie is up first and i'm really excited to see her solo she enters the stage and she starts her routine her solo is so cute and she worked really hard to know the words she finishes the routine and she exits the stage
Maddies solo is up next and i couldn't call it ballet it's more lyrical but she still did amazing!
the trio is up next and i'm so excited to see it they enter the stage and their music starts and i love the style of the dance they are absolutely nailing it the finish the trio and i loved it they exit the stage
we head back to the dressing room to get ready for the group

we go over the routine and we then head backstage
"up next in our junior category Free At Last" the announcer says Nia enters first and starts the routine off then Maddie enters then i enter then everyone else collectively enters i make sure everything is sharp and i'm doing my absolute best we finish the routine and i really think we nailed it
Nia exits the stage and we run to hug her
"we got a standing ovation from everybody." Chloe says
"you were incredible Nia." i say and hug her

the trio ends up getting first place
