"go, dance with her katsuki" his father had said

You were still dancing with your friends when you felt a hand on your shoulder, then you saw your friends step away from you and you immediately knew who had approached you

"mind if i steal y/n for a moment?" katsuki asked your friends, they all shook their heads no

You looked at your friends as they smiled back at you, wordlessly telling you to go with the boy. You turned around and looked at katsuki, who was already looking at you

"y/n, would you like to dance with me?"

You were nervous, is now the biggest understatement ever.

Your nerves were all over the place, it felt like a combination of anxiety, dread and excitement all at once, it felt as if though your palms were sweaty, your heart was beating so fast you were sure that it katsuki had stepped one step closer to you he would be able to hear it.

Your thoughts were racing, you could barely keep up. What if you had tripped, what if you stepped on his feet? What if-

"calm down" katsuki's baritone voice mumbled in your ear

"i'm trying" you retorted, making the blonde laugh softly.

He took your hands and wrapped them around his shoulders, his hand went to your lower back, pulling you closer to him as his other placed itself on your waist, you took a deep breath in.

"relax, y/n" the blonde said as the music started again, he immediately started leading the dance

"i am relaxed, katsuki" was your reply as you hesitantly put your head on his shoulder as the smell of his cologne made its way to your nose

The two of you danced in the middle of the dance floor, you didn't care if your friends were watching you (which they were), it felt as if it was only the two of you on this earth right now, and it was an enjoyable feeling.

This song stopped and not long after the band began another, this time you recognized the song to be my cherie amour by stevie wonder. (play the song it's linked in the media thingy above too)

You looked up at the blonde when you heard him sing along wijth the person that was singing, you saw that he was already looking at you.

"my cherie amour, pretty little one that i adore" the blonde mumbled, you smiled at the sound of his voice, it was calming.

"you're the only girl my heart beats for, how i wish that you were mine" the blonde sang to you

You gasped softly, realizing that he was singing the song for you, like he was confessing his feelings that he had for you, it only made you fall for him more.

"then make me yours, katsuki" was your immediate thought

"have i told you how absolutely gorgeous you look tonight?" katsuki asked as he put his coat around you

The two of you were currently on the pier outside the restaurant, he asked if the two of you could go outside and you agreed

"you continue to flirt with me katsuki, regardless of the fact that we don't know each other so well" you mumbled, looking at the boy who couldn't seem to keep his eyes off of you this evening

"then let's get to know each other" he replied, squeezing your hand

And you did exactly that. For who knows how long, you and the blonde stood on the pier, talking about anything and everything, talking about your hobbies and interests and anything that came to mind.

He spoke about UA and his friends and the teachers at the school, and you spoke about the café, about your friends as well, you spoke about the things you liked, and so did he.

You never knew that you were able to get to know a person so well, all in one night.

"y/n" the blonde called you

You hummed and directed your attention away from the water and to the blonde boy

"yes katsuki?" you replied

He placed his hand on your waist, pulling you closer to him. He put his hand on your cheek and tilted your head upwards, letting out a sigh as he did so

"can i kiss you, please?" he asked

For a moment you were shocked, but that shock quickly went away as you nodded. And so, he pressed his lips against yours.

You could get used to the feeling of his lips against yours.
