"So, anong balak mo sa bakasyon?"
Tanong ni Kea sakin. Kea is my friend in HQ.
"I'm thinking that I would fly to Washington since my parents are there"
Yes. Mom, Dad, and my siblings except me and Kuya Clifford are in the US. It's not that, Mom or Dad is a foreigner or something, but Dad have a job in the country so we lived in US since birth.
Umuwi lang ako ng Pinas dahil namatay si Lola at pinamahagi nya samin ng kapatid ko ang ari-arian nya, at dito narin ako tumira at nagtrabaho.
This place is where I belong. Yes, I lived in US but this is the country I cherish the most because I'm a filipina.
Btw my Kuya Clifford is a CEO on my Lola's company. May bahay din sya na malapit lang sa kompanya para daw maaga sya makarating.
We are all four siblings. Fist born is Kuya Christian, Second is Kuya Clifford, Third is me and the last is Cherry. Cherry is a fourteen years old girl.
Kuya Christian and Papa have the same work and that is a Surgeon. My brother's is smart right? Hehe, not like me tsk.
"Ow, that's nice. You can visit your family. Alam ba nila?"
"No. I will surprise them"
I said.
Plano ko talaga yun. Miss ko pa naman sila lalong-lalo na si Cherry.
"That's a great idea!"
"Hehe. Ikaw? Anong gagawin mo?" ako naman ang nagtanong.
"Uuwi ng probinsya. Magpapahangin lang haha di joke. Birthday kasi ng pamangkin ko"
"Ahuh" pagsang-ayon ko naman.
Nagpaalam na sya sakin since nakarating na sya sa office nya. Yes, may kanya-kanya kaming office and mine is in the second floor.
While walking around, my phone got beep so I checked it.
Kuya Clifford:
Did you eat already? It's past twelve right now.
Me:
Yes. You?
Kuya Clifford:
Already done. I'm just checking you.
Me:
Don't worry too much for me Kuya. Just focus on your work. I'll be fine.
Kuya Clifford:
I'm your brother so it's my responsible to ask you if you are fine.
Me:
Don't worry nga. Wala namang misyon ako ngayon eh.
Kuya Clifford:
Kahit na. Nag-aalala lang ako para sayo. Okay, goodbye na so that you can do your work too.
Me:
Okay. Bye Kuya, see you soon.
I keep my phone in my pocket and walk through the elevator. Buti walang gaanong tao.
"Hi" bati nila sakin. Bumati din ako pabalik.
Nang makarating ako sa office, kinuha ko kaagad ang mga documents para wala na akong poproblemahin sa bakasyon ko.
I put a signature and check it all. Kahit na ang dami nila. May ibang picture ng sindikato, ang iba nahuhuli na ng mga pulis, ang iba naman patuloy pa din sa pagtago.
Habang nagbabasa ng mha documents, naalala kong may usapan pala kami ni Kuya Clifford ngayon. Sabay kaming kumain ngayong dinner, babawi daw sya sakin eh. Minsan na lang talaga sya sumabay sakin sa pagkain, busy iyon palagi eh.
After that tiring day, Kuya Clifford pick me up with his Bugatti Divo car. So expensive like hell. Mine is just a Lamborghini Sian.
"Are you hungry already Sis?"
"Yes"
Sabi ko at pinaandar na nya ang kotse nya. Sa palagay ko ay kakain kami sa isang Japanese restaurant, sabi nya kasi.
"I heard that you are going to Washington this vacation of yours"
"Yes. I'm planning to surprise them"
"Say Hi to them for me"
"Hindi ka sasama?"
"No. I have so many things to do in my company. So many investors to the fact that, I only choose two of them"
"Sana all"
"Huh?"
"Wala. Wala"
Nang makarating kami sa restaurant ay pumasok na kami. Sakto, nagugutom na ako.
"This way Sir and Ma'am" ani ng isang waiter at pina-upo kami.
"Can I take your order sir?"
Kuya just order what he want and me too. Japanese is one of my favorite food lalong-lalo na si takoyaki.
