CHAPTER 2: MIHARU IN TROUBLE (JAPAN)

I'm at the cooking room practicing with the 3 sweet princes and with Ichigo. They're all having fun together. While me, I'm standing there watching them. How can I perfect this? Without knowing what happiness is?

Those words......... Everything...... Everything changed......... When my mother died.....

"Miharu. There's no time to have fun! You need to master it! You need to master all of the style and taste of the world!" My father said angrily. "B-But...... Happiness is important" I said. "That's not true! You need to beat that Koshino's daughter! Prove that you are one and only genius of Lemaire!" Father shouted. "I Don't think I can do it without happiness in it" I said. "Aren't you listening to me?!! There's no time to have fun! You don't need that stupid happiness! Just follow my orders!" Father shouted.

How can I master all the dishes if there is no happiness in it? I can't no longer do it. It's impossible for me without having happiness. Without knowing happiness. Happiness bring people in the world. Sad ones will be happy as they eat sweets.

"Miharu, Are you okay?" Alice asked. "Yeah" I said. And I caught Kashino looking at me but he look at other direction.

What happiness is? And what do I really want to show people?

"Miharu. Why don't you taste it" Kashino said and I nodded and walk towards him and I taste it.

"This one is good. But it's a little bit bitter and there's a sad feeling in it. You should try to put some little sugar" I said. His eyes widen.

"I get it" Kashino said and he make again.

"I finished my tart!" Ichigo shouted. And we look at Ichigo's strawberry tart. And we taste it. Ichigo is really incredible. She really does need to practice. I saw them laughing and praising her. While me I'm standing here. I really need to practice too. I can't let my father disappoint.

"Miharu, What's wrong?" Kashino asked.

"Nothing" I said as I smiled. Everyone seem to noticed.

"I'm going to practice more" Ichigo said.

"We need to go" Andou said and everyone go out. I look at Ichigo.

"Miharu?" Ichigo called.

"Do your best" I murmured and I walk away.

Today at night, I go to cooking room. I saw Kashino making chocolate. Kashino noticed me.

"Miharu" Kashino called out my name.

"What's wrong? Practicing at night" I said.

"Taste this" Kashino said as he show me his chocolate ganache.

"It's still different. Let me help you making it" I said. And Kashino and I make together. I taught him what I know. Chocolate ganache is a french dessert. I know a lot of different french desserts.

Tomorrow afternoon, I go inside the cooking room. I saw Ichigo.

"Ichigo" I called as I smiled. And she turn around to look at me.

"Miharu. Can you help me? It's hard to do it" Ichigo said.

"You should know how to do it on your own! Don't give up! You need to realize it yourself!" Alice said.

"I know! I'm not giving up. And I already try it million times" Ichigo said. My eyes widened as well as Alice.

"S-She can hear me??" Alice said startled.
