Phoebe... Ambidextrous...Carbonara... Pain... Stella... These five random words are what's in my dream... always. Kung hindi sila kumpletong lima ay paniguradong may kahit isang lalabas tuwing natutulog ako. Maybe some of you find these words funny but I don't, because I know that there is something behind it and I will make sure to find out what is the connection of these words to my life.

My phone vibrated inside my pocket and I can feel every single vibration since I am sitting inside my car. I am getting really annoyed not until I successfully fished it out and saw who was calling.

It's chairman Solomon.

I know that I was quick to touch the answer button but still, the call dropped.

Seconds after, I received a message.

CHAIRMAN SOLOMON:

Mr. Madrigal, I won't be around for an indefinite time but rest assured that I will monitor every single action and decision you will make. Also, I made sure that you will not be alienated at your workplace. If this is the right time, I must say, welcome back and work harder than before.

I replied with "Noted, chairman, and thank you very much!" but I received no confirmation if he really received my message. I just shrugged my shoulders while putting away my phone.

Maybe some of you are wondering why his message contains "welcome back", well, let me tell you already so you can stop thinking now. 6 months ago, I've been in a plane crash with 5 more other people. (Un)Fortunately, I was the only one who survived and I really don't know how or why.

I woke up to the blinding lights of the hospital where I am currently staying in. Ang hirap. Ang hirap gumising na wala kang kakilala sa paligid mo bukod sa sarili mo. Ni hindi ko nga rin kilala na kung sino ang mga nakasama ko sa crash at ang rason kung bakit kami magkakasama. Basta paggising ko, ang tanging alam ko lang ay ang pangalan ko at ang trabaho ko.

Yes, I had amnesia brought by the forces directed to my head when I fell.

Thankfully, one person took care of me. Her name is Lea and she introduced herself as part of the board of directors of my company. She was here from day 1 until I get discharged but don't get me wrong, we didn't develop any sort of romantic connection. I don't like her, but not to the point that I hate her. Although I don't like her, I am still thankful for her help because not only she took care of me, but she also explained my job to me.

Going back to the present, my driver just stopped in front of a humongous building, ES. Why ES? According to Lea, this actually covers two companies, Sol Airlines and Sky Travel and Tours. Both companies are starting with the letter "S", so that's where the building got its name.  Pinag-isipang mabuti, hindi ba?

Anyway, Sol Airlines is owned by the chairman and I own Sky T&T. I also have Sky towers all around the Philippines which are premium hotels for tourists. If you think carefully, our company is all-in-one. You may book your tickets on our website, then we'll offer you hotels which I own, too and you'll travel there with Sol Airlines. Pretty smart, right?

But what's bugging my mind is how did we end up in this partnership. I asked Lea about that and she told me that she doesn't have any idea about that anymore.

As I enter the extravagant-looking building, the staff greeted me. I didn't greet them back because it was just a waste of my time. I saw how shocked and disappointed they were but for me, don't greet people and expect them to greet you back.

I know they already know me, but I don't know them so it's best for me to hide my true self from anyone because I don't know who is faking and who is not, even Lea.
