CHAPTER: 04

TITLE: BOND

I swum back up to the surface, inhaling the air in my lungs. My brothers then popped their heads out the water appearing behind me.

First Lo'ak then Neteyam after him, "This is hard!" I heard Lo'ak say under his breath as he inhaled.

"We gotta keep trying though." I states as I eyed them as they were panting, like me.

We really did a terrible job in the race but I did try my hardest so I think I have a pass..?

"Yeah, Y/n's right we gotta keep going." Neteyam responded, "We will soon be able to learn their ways."

I nodded in sync with Lo'ak, "Your right, gotta do it for our family too." He mentioned as he looked down to the surface of the water, "come on then, let's go!" I tried to motivate the pair as I dunk right under the water with a paddle.

I noticed Tsireya, Aonung was spectating us, while the other one was fiddling with something. A creature? I'm not sure what it was but it was a living thing.

As I was staring I noticed a small ice role from Aonung as he hand motioned something to his sister. I need to know what this hand stuff is.

I realised I was already close to them and decided to swim Infront of Tsireya, we were just looking at eachother till I decided to emote a thumbs up to her.

I suppose I was trying to say 'I was good, right?' In hand language.

Tsireya smiled in response to my silly hand motion, I looked besides me to just notice Lo'ak.

He managed too, that's good.

Near him also appeared Neteyam, I'll say we are doing good.

Tsireya did some hang motion but we didn't understand, Lo'ak just pointed his hand up as he swam to the surface as I joined him.

Following on Neteyam did the same as others followed along.

I swooped up to the surface and looked at my Lo'ak, "How were we?" He ask exotically.

"You guys swim like babi----" Aonung mickered with a small laugh.

That fish talker! If he lasted a day in the wild he wouldn't even last.

I noticed Tsireya slightly elbow him as she spoke, "Sorry about my brother," she let out a sigh. "You guys did good, its your first time after all!"

Her word were very sweet, she was honest unlike her brother but if we do look like babies he says I'm sure babies get better.

I heard a small scoff from my brother, I assumed he disliked Aonungs silly words.

Aonung acts more like a baby we will ever be. Hes so fussy!

Rotxo appeared in my focus and shared, "You think they can bond?" He awkwardly asked as Aonung laughed letting out a small no.

I heard a small laugh come our of Rotxo soon as Aonung laughed, in time our hero Tsireya had our back.

"They can be, they can be not." She stated, "they can learn." A smile appeared on my face.

I noticed my brothers looks as if their hearts were gonna pounce put their living souls.

These guys have already found a crush, I mean..., Tsireya is amazing I'm not surprised I haven't fallen for the goddess like that.

"Should we go try?" My brother Neteyam asked kindly as he is.

"Try?"

"Bonding!? I mean." He shyly corrected himself as he was getting all flustered in embarrassment.

I giggled quietly. Surely that no one heard me too.

Unexpectedly I heard another giggle come across from another, my eyes trailed up and found out the giggle came from Aonung.

What can I say? I should of expect him to laugh at my brother he's already mocked us a few times.

He's hard word, as I stared more I noticed he was staring at me too.

I shrugged my shoulders amongst, 'what' , I mouthed him.

He continued to stare alittle longer till he looks away. What was that?

"Should we all go now?" Tsireya mentioned as I was zoned out not listening to a word, I'll just- follow my brothers. Its what I do best I suppose.

Aa they were going to dive back under the water and I was gonna join, my brother stopped me.

"You should just watch." Neteyam spoke putting a a hand on my shoulder.

"I should watch, why?" I asked frankly, I would rather join in.

"You can't put too much pressure on your shoulder." Lo'ak butted in stating words I did say.

"A little pressure won't do any harm.." I muttered with a small odd smile.

Tsireya then brought herself into the conversation, "Y/n you really should sit this one out, it'll put pressure around ur shoulders." She mentioned making u let out a sigh.

"Fine.." I muttered not liking the decision that was brought up on me.8c9p
"Don't worry, my brother can keep you company!" She states, wait Aonung!?

My brothers looked at Aonung in disgust as Tsireya asked, "That's if you'll like! I suppose it's better not to be alone.

I nodded as her words, aleast he won't beat bad if he's accompanying me alone supposed.

"Brother?"

"I can stay and accompany her." He said with a mysterious smirk, I could already feel my brothers blood boil. I'm sure they wouldn't even want me near this immature fish.

I suppose he can be good when he wants it's same with his emotions.

"Alright.." Tsireya nodded as her hand motioned for my brothers and Rotxo to follow behind.

We are now alone, here. Again.
