81. Avada Kedavra 💀

Enzo lifted his wand.
"Alright, I can do this."

He closed his eyes and flicked his wand.
"Avada Kedavra!"

3 bunnies down 2 left.

"Avada Kedavra." Said Blaise out of nowhere.
"Well shit." Said Theo.

"Isn't this taking energy out of you guys?"
I said trying to stall.

"It comes back in seconds, it's only a bunny."
Said Mattheo.

"Go Draco." Said Enzo.
I let out a breath and held my wand up.

The poor bunny sat there helpless.

"Avada Kedavra!" I said.
I felt energy being sucked out of me but it was instantly repaired.

I didn't like how easy it was.

I opened my eyes and the bunny was dead.
"See you did it. You stressed for no reason."
Said Enzo.

"That was easy but Dumbledore will suck lots of your energy since he has a bigger life force in him." Blaise.

"You need to practice with something more powerful." Said Mattheo.

He was right.
I've been reading a lot on this curse and learnt that different things take up different amounts of energy.

Smaller animals took less energy, an animal like a cow would take a decent amount but not much.

Magical animals like hippogriffs or a Griffin is when the lack of energy becomes more long term.

If I killed a Hippogriff I would need an hour to get back to normal.
If I killed a dragon I would need a good nights rest.

Humans were different.
They took up the most energy and were the hardest to kill.

With practice you could become better at saving your energy.

Voldemort could kill a 100 people and feel no change.

The closest I could get to practicing on a human was killing a Centaur.

Half human half animal.

"I need to kill a Centaur." I said.
"We have to go to the forbidden forest."
Said Mattheo.

"We're nearing the end of March.
You have till the end of June to complete this task." Said Theo.

"Your times running out." Said Blaise.
"In exactly a week from now we'll meet in the common room at 10:00pm and go." Said Blaise.

(Sierras Pov)
March 27th
"Why do you 2 look so stressed?" I asked.

Mattheo and Draco would look at the clock every couple of minutes.

"Death eater stuff." Said Mattheo.
"Like what?" I asked.

"Why do you always stick your head in everything." Said Draco.

"I was just asking." I said.
Draco lashes out when he gets stressed.

Suddenly they looked at the time and walked to the door.

"Where are you guys going?" I asked.
They didn't reply and walked out.

I secretly trailed behind them and noticed they entered the common room.

They walked in and shut the door.

We all sat down.

"Remember the plan. We have to stick together and can't hesitate." Said Theo.

"We're death eaters now we have to practice using the spell." Said Mattheo.
"And their just Centaurs it's fine." Said Theo.

"We should go." Said Enzo.
