Due to this predicament, Ike can't help but kneel in agony. But Yamauchi helped him by encouraging him that there will be next time. And after that they gone back to their usual selves.

As those two looked happy, Ike suddenly revealed a shock expression, "Woah!"

"What's the matter, Ike?" I asked him.

"Dude, look at his body!" he shouted as he point his forefinger to someone.

As I follow his finger with my line of sight, that someone was our classmate, Okuma Ikuto. And looking to his body, I can't help but feel a bit surprised as his body was riddled with horrendous scars. His body was mostly covered with stab wounds, especially in the area around his abdomen. Even his thighs was filled with stab wounds.

While observing his body, most wounds were shallow while some wounds are deep, especially on his liver part.

And in the area around his chest, there are bullet wounds that are close to his heart. And it was a miracle that he was able to survive with such wounds as normal people wouldn't be able to live with that injury. And if, in instance, they survived, they might be crippled for the rest of their life.

It seems that the environment he was raised in was a very dangerous place as his wounds seems like it was received during his childhood...

When I start to look at my classmates, different reactions started to appear on their faces. Some were horrified, some were disgusted, and some were... amused?

And the person with amused expression was none other than Koenji.

When I look at Okuma, he didn't mind the different stares he received. Instead, he stretched his body before he dives to the pool.

It seems he did that for warm-up as he swim in a relaxed pace.

And as the time for swimming class started, the teacher in-charge for this class called us out. And when he looked at Okuma's body, he faltered a bit. But he immediately hid his surprise by coughing and immediately discuss the things related to swimming class.

He stated that every one of us must know how to swim before summer starts, then he asked if someone doesn't know how to swim in our class. Then, only one boy raised his hand in response to the teacher's question.

After that, we were given a test on swimming 50 meters.

While I swim, Ike suddenly got out his self from the pool and combed his hair with a confident grin, as if he was a merman, "Hehe, I'm fast! Did you see how I professionally swim?"

But Ike... Your posture was so crude that it can hardly be called professional...

"Is that so?" the teacher questions him.

"Of course, they called me the 'flying fish' in my previous school!" he bragged with confidence.

"If that's the case, then how about you compete with one another?" the teacher proposed.

"C- compete?!" Ike asked in bewilderment.

The teacher nods in confirmation, "Yes, but of course, if someone got first place in the competition, they will get a huge amount of points followed by the second and third up until the fifth".

The amount of points he put as a prize wasn't a large amount, but it would be enough to tempt most of the students here in the swimming pool.

The competition was a 50-meter freestyle and was separated by gender. In each genders, it will be divided into 5 groups, and a person who crossed the finish line first within the group will win. And the top 5 challengers who has the shortest time will be rewarded.

After his briefing, the competition for girls started. The most notable girls in the competition was Horikita, Kushida, and Onodera. And the final winner for the girl's race was Onodera, followed by Horikita in second place.

Afterwards, the competition for boys started. For the first group, Sudou won by overthrowing his competitors with overwhelming strength.

Then for the second group, Hirata won in the race. He seems fast in swimming even if he's favorite sport is soccer.

For the third group, Koenji won by executing a perfect form in swimming. If I compared him with Sudou, Koenji will have the advantage in terms of raw strength.

And for the fourth group, the only person who stands out the most was Okuma Ikuto as he started to stretch his body.

-Whistle!

When the race started, Okuma widens his gap against his competitors, resulting on him currently in the lead.

"Whoa! What the hell?! He's so fast just like Koenji!" Sudo said with shock as he looked at Okuma's speed.

As Okuma finally reached the finish line, he raised his body from the swimming pool and took his towel that is hanged on the chair.

Then, the teacher announced the time for Okuma, "24.49 seconds"

And for the winner for today's event was Koenji, who got 23.22 seconds, followed by Okuma, who got 24.49 seconds, then Sudou, who got 25 seconds, and lastly, Hirata, who got 26.13 seconds.

It really was an entertaining race where they compete if who is the most fastest in the class. However, there's one student who was clearly holding back during the race, and that was Okuma Ikuto.

Most of my classmates didn't notice it, but the moment when he approached the finish line, he was slowing down.

I don't know why he did that. But there is one thing for sure.

He is not a person that must be mess with.

As Okuma exits out from the swimming pool, a question arose from my mind, "Okuma Ikuto, just who are you?"
