“Who are you?” Kim Dokja asked. (Y/n) was definitely not used to hearing him speak in an ice-cold tone.

“I will formally introduce myself. My name is Lee Sungkook. I am the deputy in charge of Dongmyo Station.”

This guy approached and bowed. Then Kim Dokja started the full-fledged Yoo Jonghyuk cosplay.

After he snapped at him, he opened his mouth and spoke, “Dongmyo Station? I see. Then get out.”

“…Huh?”

“This is my station from now on so get out.” The guy’s mouth dropped open.

“What…”

“You aren’t going to listen to me?” Kim Dokja looked down at the flag holder that had the Dongmyo flag. Lee Sungkook belatedly understood his point.

“T-That is impossible. You can’t transfer a station already occupied…”

“Do you think I’m a fool? You are the deputy.”

“Yes?”

“If you have the authority of a deputy, the station can be transferred at will. You didn’t know?”

“…!”

“If you don’t take it out by the time I count to three, I will cut your neck. One.”

'What in the absolute fuck... is happening right now?' (Y/n) stayed still, just observing what was transpiring in front of her.

Lee Sungkook’s face stiffened. The men slowly surrounded Kim Dokja, giving off a nasty atmosphere.

Jung Heewon and Lee Hyunsung were nervous because they didn’t know why he was suddenly doing such a crazy thing.

And he knew (Y/n) was confused as well but probably figured out that he's doing it for a plan he had hatched just recently.

He continued speaking, “Does it sound like I am joking? Two.”

Chiiing!

Lee Sungkook’s pale face beyond the burning white blade.

At this moment, Lee Sungkook hurriedly shouted, “W-Wait a minute! I-I’ll give it to you!”

“No need.”

“…Huh?"

"You answered too late.”

“Yes?”

“This place isn’t enough. Give me Dongdaemun as well.”

Kim Dokja aimed his sword at Lee Sungkook and declared, “If you don’t do this, there won’t be a deal.”

“B-But…!”

“I will count to three again. One." Lee Sungkook’s expression changed in real time. He was starting to believe that Kim Dokja was Yoo Jonghyuk. The protagonist of a novel was standing in front of him.

“I-I can give you Dongdaemun History and Culture Park! But…”

“But?”

“I don’t have the authority to hand over Dongdaemun… if you don’t mind, would you like to meet our representative?”

Lee Sungkook kept on talking, “Yoo Jonghyuk-nim’s reputation is well-known. Our representative will be greatly looking forward to seeing Yoo Jonghyuk-nim. Please give our group a chance to talk with Yoo Jonghyuk-nim.”

“You know me?”

“How can I not know Yoo Jonghyuk-nim?” Lee Sungkook shut his mouth the moment he said this. He thought he said something strange. Yoo Jonghyuk couldn’t be famous this early on.

“A-Anyway, it will be an honour if you accompany me.”

Kim Dokja stared at him and replied, “Okay, show me the way.”

Lee Sungkook’s expression brightened and he added useless words, “Don’t worry. I swear on the King’s Honour that I won’t harm Yoo Jonghyuk-nim.”

(Y/n) couldn't help an amused chortle from slipping. The group turned their attention on her.

'Crap! Play it cool...'

"Funny, you harming him?" (Y/n) shook her head, she clicked her tongue, "I didn't think you'd have a fondess for jokes."

The man nervously laughed at (Y/n)'s words, “O-Of course, none of us can lay a finger on Yoo Jonghyuk-nim.  Ha, haha. Then… this way.”

(Y/n) internally sighed in relief, that was a smooth save...

Kim Dokja took the flag from Lee Sungkook. The flag changes before their eyes.

They were guided by Lee Sungkook towards Dongmyo Station.

The Dongmyo members didn’t know Kim Dokja's identity but Lee Sungkook’s attitude was so stubborn that they couldn’t protest.

The party walked at the rear of the group. Lee Hyunsung hesitated before looking at Kim Dokja and opening his mouth.

"Excuse me, Dokj—”

Jung Heewon noticed quickly and hit Lee Hyunsung’s stomach. There was the sound of wind being blown from the lungs and Lee Hyunsung groaned.

"Ow! That must've hurt..." (Y/n) whispered, resisting the urge to laugh.

"... I-It does..." Lee Hyunsung replied, also whispering.

Lee Hyunsung and (Y/n) weren't really that close in the novel, but they were at least friends... of sorts.

Kim Dokja muttered out of the side of his mouth, "You know what to do without me telling you?"

"Yep," (Y/n) replied. Just pretend he is Yoo Jonghyuk, it's that simple.

"Make sure to restrain that guy. Understood?" Jung Heewon nodded and made a strange gesture. She kneeled in front of Kim Dokja and cried out in an exaggerated voice.

“Yes Jonghyuk! I will do as you say!” Anyone who saw it would think about medieval knights. The funny thing was that the surprised Lee Hyunsung did the same thing.

“I-I will do as you say…!”

Kim Dokja saw (Y/n) shaking from beside her, clearly astonished by what was happening.

He grabbed her hand and gave it a squeeze, telling her not to blow their cover.

(Y/n) mouthed a 'sorry' and her silent laughter ceases.

Lee Sungkook, at the head of the group, was surprised to hear these two voices. And surprised to see Kim Dokja holding (Y/n)'s hand since... well, Yoo Jonghyuk doesn't have feelings for (Y/n) in the novel— at least it didn't show...

Kim Dokja was also confused if Yoo Jonghyuk returned her feelings or not. In the later chapters, when he recovered his memories of her, he seemed to not only mourn because she was gone...

There was so many descriptive and suggestive paragraphs. Kim Dokja remembered asking the author if he is inlove with (Y/n) but he did not get a response.

He had wished back then for the author to just tell the readers— or in this case, him — if Yoo Jonghyuk loves her or not... and not platonically.

One dialogue of him saying that he loves her would've been enough but no— he has to fuckig guess.

But even if Yoo Jonghyuk does have feelings for (Y/n), his mind is already set on keeping them apart.

Of course he wouldn't have known that it would be harder than he initially thought.
