A/N- This shot is during anniversaries of four couples during vanvas

Ram woke up, only to jump up happily. "20 years!!" Ram said to himself.

(according to the original valmiki ramayan, Vanvaas was after 12 years of marriage.)

"Sitaaa....." ram called out sweetly, as his wife walked out of the kitchen. Ram looked at her, she was cladded in simple ornaments, saffron clothes and flower bangles. Ram watched keenly as his lady love, who was the most pampered princess of Mithilla, who deserved the best of luxuries, who was born to be the empress of as prosperous country as Kosala, but still roaming from forest to forest with him, as she wiped her hands with a napkin kept there, and walked towards him, and smiled sweetly.

"Ram...." she said, the name itself is a miraculous one, but from her tongue, it feels like nectar oozing out.

Sita stepped towards him, and hugged him tightly, placing her head on his chest, the safest place in the whole world, as he wrapped his arms around her, holding her as securely as possible.

"Happy anniversary sweetheart......" Ram whispered into her ears.

"Same to you sweetheart....." Sita whispered back.

"So, whats my gift?" Sita asked like a child asking for toffees.

"I have got a gift for you but...." Ram cut off himself, as he showed her a pair of anklets.

"Those are beautiful, Ram, but where did you buy them?" Sita asked, awestruck by its beauty.

"I dint buy them, I collected the pearls from the river, and made them, how is it?" ram asked.

"They are just like you, my Raghav....." Sita said, as she grabbed the anklets from his hand, and put her hands on his chest.

"Sweet, nice, beautiful, and my favorite...." She whispered, hugging him close.

Both of them were enjoying each other's company, as they spotted Lakshman bringing wood, and went off again for something. They felt a slight pang in their hearts, and their eyes got misty. It wasnt only their anniversary today, but also of their younger siblings.

"Ram, why were our siblings so unfortunate?" Sita asked, choking over her tears, to which Ram chuckled dryly.

"Because, Sita, they gave away all their fortune to us, and deliberately chose an unfortunate life...." Ram said.

"you are right, Ram....I guess we are the only one celebrating it, isnt it? Bharat is in nandigram, and Maan is at the palace, even though I am sure they would have met today, but I know both of them nicely, this anniversary is gonna be spoilt in talking  about guilt, Shatru and Keerthi, I am sure they would be too busy to give themselves some time, I always feel bad for them, you remember how Shatru was literally begging you to come back? I never saw him crying so badly, because he knew that if you dont return, Bharat wont live in the city...." Sita said.

"Lakshman and urmila.......I can just pray to gauri maiyya to give them some more strength to handle this, if thats even possible......" Sita muttered, as she placed her head on his shoulder.

"I love you Ram....."

"I love you too, Sita....."

Mandavi was sitting in her room, staring out of the window, from where Urmila's hut was visible. Some times, Mandavi somehow envied the amount of emotional strength her sister carried.
