While Korra and Asami started hanging out Korra notice that Asami's smile on her face is starting to slowly fade "hey are you okay?" Korra asked "yes I'm fine" Asami replied "are you sure you look upset" "you want to talk about it?" Korra asked not wishing to push Asami "I guess I can even though it can be a little weird but it hurts.." "okay what's wrong Asami.." Korra asked "well I had a nightmare last night ever since I lost my mom I've been having trouble sleeping at night wondering what I could have done to help her and then you appeared in my dream you were getting hurt and your friends were too and I was just sitting there doing nothing I felt so useless I wanted to get up and help but I couldn't move.." Korra not knowing what to say she just looked at Asami feeling bad and gave her a hug "I am truly sorry for your lost Asami you didn't deserve to lose her to experience the pain you're a good person I'm here if you need me and I'm here to stay" Asami couldn't hold back the tears she cried and hugs Korra started losing it Korra just sat there and hugs her being there to calm her then says "I promise you I will be here when you need me" "no matter what" Asami started feeling butterflies in her stomach and wanted to kiss Korra but she held that feeling back knowing she might do something wrong so she just sat there cried and cried until her tears dried still hugging Korra not wanting to let go Korra feeling the same way not wanting to let go of Asami and wanted to help her with whatever she can and Asami felt safe with Korra Korra felt safe with Asami
