Changing how I look,
Hiding behind a disguise,
The person in the mirror,
A stranger to my eyes.
A disguise that I wear,
As I hide away from the world,
Wearing a mask so people,
Won't recognize me, nor remember.
But the disguise I wear,
It's not just for others,
It's for myself as well,
To hide away from the person I no longer wish to be.
