Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else’s opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation.

I thank you for connecting with my true intent as regards the poetry collection SALT OF THE EARTH. You are an astute reader and were able to see through the images. All of your observations ring true. It's like you read my mind. As a reader, I thank you. Of course, a writer must write what he finds intriguing to read himself. Thank you for your support, time, value accorded to my technique. Yes, it is a challenge to match a work this significant as Mudbound but I guess my passion for the universality of our lives made me create these works. They are so close to me.

It’s no problem. Thank you for writing and sharing. It’s truly inspiring.

For all my 40 something followers, I don’t know...is it 40? Anyway, okay...yeah. I’m back-ish. I will be uploading more and hopefully giving out more critiques. If you’re interested in honest critiques (not the whole, “golly this is great” type of comments but actual constructive criticism.) to improve, please let me know. I’m not an expert, not even good by any standard, but I am here to offer feedback with no strings attached.

Um...My plans for my page thingy is to edit the work I have and add more. Hopefully soon I’ll be including “journal entry” type of writing to kinda record my Appalachian Trail thru-hike in March/April 2019. If you’re interested in that keep a look out because I will be doing a “before AT, during AT, and after AT” type of journaling of what I’m feeling, what I’m thinking, how I’m preparing mentally and physically, my experiences, going home to real life, and just everything. I’m hoping to encourage other writers to have adventures because we all need inspiration.

I will say that so far ‘dirt and human’ is what I think is my best work but it hasn’t been the easiest because it is my most personal so far. If you haven’t read anything from that collection then you’re missing out.

Thank you all for reading my work in the past and hopefully there will be a lot more to enjoy in the future.

Wow! We haven't chatted since 2013! I was once called SupernaturalSoul! We had A LOOOT of conversations when I was younger! I'm making things sound ancient! Haha! But at the same time, 2-3 years is a long time!
