People might think of being trapped as being physically trapped, like a dull, grey metal cage, imprisoning us with its cold and uninviting claws of malevolence. We might think of being trapped in our minds, stuck in a corner hearing loud, screeching voices telling what to do and what not to do, making an irremovable sense of claustrophobia that you just cannot escape from. But people don’t think you can be trapped by the one thing that gives us the liberty to be ourselves. Society.

When you are born into society there is no way out, you can't survive without it. But this seems to be our predicament, we've been trying to find a way out of all of these conventions, but there doesn't seem to be one. We are trapped. We are trapped among those who consider themselves free, but how free are we? We are bound by laws, rules and regulations, just waiting to be judged on whatever decision we make next. Society is the master puppeteer of our lives, controlling our every move as we make decisions that make us feel and act free, when in reality we aren't.

We will always be within society; it is immanent, completely unavoidable. Society is a kaleidoscope of gullible and disturbed people and situations, and as long as we are among it, we might as well be birds with broken wings.
